  • "The food was terrific and so was the restaurant. However, I was disappointed because we were a party of ten and I told the waiter that we would be splitting the check and he told me but to worry that that would be taken care of later. However, when later came, the manager said I could not split the check because we were all at the same table. That I would have to have sat at a separate table to do that. Great disappointing end to a great dinner... Also, the offer lemonade without advising of the cost. I ordered lemonade for the kids (2) and the brought two jars and charged me $31.00."

It was one of my best places to dine but my last visit was very bad, service is not as it used to be, and meat quality is down hell, the servers don't know the difference between medium rare, medium or well!! Unbelievable. If you want to have a nice meal maybe try Fogo de chao down the street. Much better meat quality & service."

  • "Went for Mother's Day, Reservation got us right in to an awesome table overlooking the water. Food was great however the prices for children is pretty steep. My kids ate from the salad bar and ate meat but HARDLY $24.00 worth. They should definitely have a lower price but other than that I can't complain!"

  • "I took my boyfriend here as a graduation date. He has never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse before. He enjoyed the food, not just because it was unlimited but because it was very flavorful. The salad bar had a great variety- It had cold vegetable and meat options but also had hot items like rice, beans, and potatoes. Great variety of food. The service was great, the waiters checked on us periodically to ensure everything was great and made suggestions to enhance our experience. Even the managers came around to make sure that the diners enjoyed themselves. The view overlooks the water- if possible, request a table next to a window. Yes, it is expensive but you definitely get your money's worth. "

Our waiter, Diego, was very attentive and ensured our dinner experience was the best. We got two glasses of champagne on the house! "

  • "I have been there 100 times and it's been good, but this last dinner was TERRIBLE. The worst Service EVER, the food was way more salty than normal and they barely came to our table by the window. We had to ask many times that they bring meat. AND it came out to $300 for four people with just a wine corking fee (no wine). Just not worth it for the terrible service and attitude. ADVICE - don't sit by the window as they ignore you, sit in the main dining room so they cant miss your table."

  • "The food at this restaurant was pretty good, especially at the salad bar. The ambience of the restaurant is nice too, and all the help was pretty friendly. My only complaint is that if you bring a group, inevitably one person will not be a meat eater. Although the salad provides enough of a meal in itself, it would be nice if Texas de Brazil offered one or two fish items, in addition to the cod dish at the salad bar. Although I am not sure how you would put a fish on a skewer and carve it!"

  • "I went there for valentines day with my girlfriend. Even though I had a reservation for 8:30 we didn't get to check in till 9:15 had to wait in line for 45 mins just to check in. Then we had to wait in lounge area for another 30 mins for the table. After almost hour and half when we finally got our table we were treated terrible by our server, who I only saw once!! We weren't even served water! Had to ask for it twice!! Burnt food. WORST SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED."

We made reservation requesting to be by the window weeks in advance, but when arrived they simply told us "you have to wait for 20 minutes if you want window seat" rather rudely. Almost everybody were seated by the window at the time, and it looked like they sat everybody first come first serve bases with no priority given to reservations."

  • "In general we like Texas de Brazil but the location in South Beach is not very inviting with the smell of sewage in the entrance area. Common guys, there are fabulous misting systems that can be integrated into the A/C system if you face this problem. Just recently we had the same bad experience at Gold & Pepper Restaurant and it seems to be a problem in many South Beach locations. Food was ok but not as nice as at the Hallandale Gulfstream location! Next time we stay up North again...."

  • "We last went for the regular dinner ($50 w/meats). We had a coupon for 1 free meal, which made it expensive, but not outrageous! Our friend warned us to not have much from the salad bar, if we wanted room for the meats. This time we decided to just do the salad bar ($25). My friend & my husband both adored the lobster bisque. There was a very large selection of salads, vegetables, some cheeses, etc We had 3 glasses of wine (cheapest available is $8), one iced tea & one cappuccino. The total with tax & tip was $150. For what we got, I consider $50/person on the expensive side. We probably won't go back unless we have a coupon!"

  • "This is a pre-fixe restaurant. Apparently the meat is cooked in a traditional Brazilian style. If it is indeed authentic, Brazilians must be retaining water and have insane blood pressure rates. The meats are heavily heavily salted. The salad bar is just okay. The sushi was the best thing we had. I think the appeal is "all you can eat.""

  • "In the best neighborhood on South Beach. Unbeatable location with beautiful window and outside table views of Fisher Island, Downtown Miami and the Miami Beach Marina. Decor is beautiful. The buffet salad selection, sushi bar and warm sides are plentiful and excellent quality. Great sushi. Must try the Lobster Bisque. Fantastic wine selection. The meat, for which Texas de Brazil as a churrascaria is known, is done to perfection with many delicious options. From rare to well done, you get what you request. Service is outstanding, the wait staff knowledgeable and professional. The cheese bread, garlic mash potato and sweet plantains which accompany are prefect. Parking is easy. Best place to take a stroll on the marina after your meal."

  • "The meat came slow and we had to keep on asking, asking asking. Fillet mignon was impossible to get. Half way they removed our plates. However the drinks kept on coming at a very fast pace so they can make more money. I left hungry and passed by burger king. $100 per person and hungry. The one in Ft Lauderdale is better or go next door to Fogo de Chao. I wil not go back to this location."

The service was excellent, from the waitstaff to the Manager who came to our table a few times to make sure everything was good, to the Meat Servers who were constantly rotating with their meat selections. The food was great! It was a great night out, we were never rushed and felt very welcome."

  • "Excellent steak and buffet of salads etc. Try to slow down the pace of being served, also asking for clean plates; you can be made to feel rushed unless you set the ground rules on sitting down. Don't allow the waiters to be so pushy in promoting the expensive liquers or pushing desserts and then leaving them behind on the table AFTER the guests have already indicated they are not interested. Change plates regularly and don't descend on the table with the meats just after people sit down with their salads."
