  • "This was our 3rd trip to Texas de Brazil and I will not be back. Our first 2 trips were great, this trip was a big disappointment. The meat was horrible. It was bad cuts, chewy, tough to cut. Usually you roll out of there way too full, not this time. The only thing I heard anyone in our group rave about was the Parmesan Chicken. I would have a had a better meal at a lesser priced steakhouse than here."

  • "Took my wife here for her birthday. Arrived half hour before reservation and we're seated half hour after reservation. Several couples were seated before us without reservation so I advise not wasting your time with booking one. To be fair to the the staff it was the Friday night after Xmas and extremely busy. Overall we'll go back. Just not with reservation or an hour wait."

  • "If you are ever in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, then a visit to Tezas de Brazil is a must add to your bucket list if you are a foodie, not enough characters to tell you about the superb service, great food/wine list. The Manager, Fernanda has a well trained, energetic and customer focused staff. Fernanda is aways busy clearing/restting tables, catering to the needs of evey customer that walks through the door. She makes it a point to visit every table multiple times. I can see why ths place is always packed every night."

  • "I always enjoy the food at Texas de Brazil. Although most people go there for the variety of meat selections, the salad bar is not one to be reckonded with. I love the lobster bisque as well as the selection of prepared salads, sushi and cheese from the salad bar. This is a great place to dine with the family, friends or with that one special someone."

  • "Texas de Brazil has an incredible salad bar - but really there is much more than just lettuce and tomatoes. In the salad bar you can get cheeses, breads, sushi roll, soup, and meat accompaniment. Of course you need to save room for the incredible choices in meat. If you are hungry, this is the place for you! Note of warning, the dining room is multi-level and the salad bar is on the ground floor. Therefore, if you are seated in an upper level, you need to walk down the stairs or elevator to get your food from the salad bar. If you have trouble with this, you should ask to be seated in the ground floor."

  • "I have not been toTexas de Brazil in a few years. While the food was good and the service was good, the total experience for the amount of money was not good. This restaurant is way too "touristy". Lots of people in jeans and tshirts and not dressed very nicely. They tend to overbook. The salad/vegetable bar was way too crowded. I felt like I was more at a Golden Corral than a nice restaurant while waiting in the line. If I am going to spend that much money for a meal it will not be at Texas de Brazil. Also, the restaurant could also use a good cleaning. Most of the light fixtures had a good coating of dust on them."

  • "First visit to Texas de Brazil, celebrating a birthday. We were seated promptly. Service was excellent throughout the evening. We were seated upstairs, and the wonderful salad bar is downstairs. It can be a little tricky walking up the stairs with a full plate in hand. They do have an elevator, however. Our server, Joanna, explaned how the various meats would be brought around, etc. Servers with the skewers of meat came by very frequently, and Joanna was by our table several times over the course of the evening. As this was a special occasion, we ordered dessert for the table, and it was excellent as well. The entire dinner process was almost 2 hours."

  • "We were seated on the second floor and the stairs was out of service. Yes, the stairs were out of service. So we had to use the grungy service elevator to go up and down from the salad bar. The salad bar was still impressive, but not like it used to be. The fresh mozzarella used to be something to die for, now it's no different from store bought. Everything form the salad bar tasted like it just went down a few notches from a year ago or so. It used to be second to none. As for the meats, almost every one of them was too salty (and I like salty) and was over-cooked, needless to say, they were dry. Only the house special was cooked medium and even that was too salty. With new competitors in town, they really need to up their game."

  • "We had a reservation for 7:45pm, and arrived at 7:30pm. The manager greeted us and informed me that they were out of pagers and that the hostess would bring us one. We made our way to the bar and started seeing people walk in with pagers so I went to the hostess to see why we had not been given a pager yet. The hostess informed me that we would have to check back to get one. Around 8pm I finally got tired of seeing people who came in after our reservation time being seated so we went to the hostess and she told us we were next. We then went back to the bar and were seated around 8:20. I looked at our slip on the table and it was printed at 8:08. Our waitress had to ask Gauchos to come to our table so that we could be served meat."

  • "We took advantage of a free birthday dinner (with one paid - sign up for email) and enjoyed the evening. Service is always excellent. The food is good but not necessarily great. The meat selection is varied with some being very good and some just so-so. Most of the meats are simply charbroiled but still prepared well. The variety of the salad bar is enough to easily fill two plates so make sure you leave room for the meat selection. At full price the value is somewhat questionable but for special occasions it is still a fun experience. I'm sure we'll go again on the next discount coupon we receive."

  • "This was my first trip to Texas de Brazil. The atmosphere was great. I wasn't a fan of the cooking style for the meats. It was way too salty for me I was drinking more than I was eating. There should be more sides offered with the meal other than just mashed potatoes and fried bananas. Great concept though. It's a bit too pricey. Not very kid friendly. I would only recommend this place for special occasions."

  • "Texas De Brazil is my husband's favorite restaurant, so I brought him here for his birthday (like every year). We eat at TDB several times a year and love it. Food is great even for those who choose not to eat meat (like me). I eat strictly from the salad bar and I am always full and satisfied 100% when we leave. I do eat fish, so the salmon and shrimp at the salad bar serve as my main dish. There are some cuts of meats that my husband prefers a little more red and some that he prefers more done and TDB always cooks to his liking. The drinks are wonderful! I recommend the Brazilian Breeze! Tropical and yummy!"
