Diner Reviews
  • "What a fun and unique dining experience. We celebtated my parents 49 wedding anniversary. So fun and fabulous food. The wait staff and food servers were phenomenal. Thanks."

  • "Went for dinner the night I proposed to my fiancé and it kinda ruined the rest of the night, cold bar was good like it was the first time. Lobster bisque was amazing. But when it came to the meat carvers it got very disappointed. We had 5 of the 15 meats come around and almost all of them were burnt or overcooked and chewy. Told the sever how we had only had a few of the people come around he said he'd have some more for us and just sent the ones we'd already seen. When I went to first time I told. Everyone about it, probably won't go back now."

  • "We have been here a few times before and raved about the food. We brought 4 friends along with us who had never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before and the service we received was a horrible representation of what we have experienced at other restaurants. We sat for almost 20 minutes before any servers came around with meat. We had to ask our waiters several times before we finally were served cuts of meat. They were also very slow with clearing plates and keeping drinks full. The restaurant was not overly busy to explain the lack of service we received."

  • "Not only is the selection of meat fantastic, but the quality is tip top! Also noteworthy, the salad bar is absolutely amazing. Everything is high quality and delicious! This place is great!!"

  • "Its a bit on the steep side for pricing. Upscale buffet eating and not for the faint of heart. Definitely not kid friendly as far as the menu goes but overall good experience but likely not one I'll repeat."

  • "We had a great time and our server was awesome. The food was great and the ambiance was just right for our celebration"
    Dined on 7/26/2014
  • "My only concern was the noise level. That night it was too loud to enjoy the atmosphere or my date."
    Dined on 7/25/2014
  • "This was a great first time experience and I look forward to bringing my family next time."
    Dined on 7/25/2014
  • "The food was salty, but overall had decent flavor. The lobster bisque soup had a great flavor, and I enjoyed it very much, but in two bowls I didn't find a single piece of lobster. It may be better titled as lobster-flavored bisque soup. No free refills on soda, and only an 8.5 oz container at that. Usually, that's not an issue, but couple that with salty food and, well, I expected more from the restaurant. Service was better than average, but the noise of the restaurant made it very difficult to carry on a conversation. All this together made the experience, just okay."

  • "Service was impeccable. We have been here many times and the servers that present you with the various cuts of meat are always the same since this location was opened. We feel this speaks volumes of the work that they do and they enjoy it as much as we enjoy being there and tasting the perfectly done meats and the incredible salad bar selection. What really sealed the deal for Texas de Brazil was the level of professional service."

  • "We ate here during restaurant week and brought our good friend who hadn't tried the restaurant. No menus were given to us and the server briefly explained the process and we began our "experience" there. At the conclusion he brought our check and to our surprise had charged the full (I'm assuming) price. My husband had to call the waiter back to the table and he explained that management instructed him to only give the restaurant week price if asked! Restaurant week helps support local food pantries and I just felt the whole thing was so sneaky and dishonest. We won't be back. Food was so-so and unless you're into eating far more than is necessary I recommend visiting a true steakhouse for the price."

  • "Contrary to what some reviewers said, we had no difficulty getting our meat choices the temperature of doneness we desired. I like medium rare and my husband likes medium well. We asked how done the meat was and if it wasn't what one of us wanted a few minutes later they would be back with another skewer. The salad bar is amazing with lots of choices and it wouldn't be hard to make a satisfying meal there. I do agree the meat is pretty salty but it is also quite tasty. We had fun but probably won't go back.....too much food for us and we couldn't eat $50 worth."

  • "We had a wonderful time all together. The food was fun and fabulous. Service was spectacular and beyond what I expected. Very professional and yet down to earth."

  • "I have been to a few other Texas De Brazil's and this one rated up there with the others. Some of the meats were better while others weren't as good but overall it was wonderful! It was not kid-friendly at all. We had nowhere to put our 2 month old in his car seat. We ended up putting his car seat on two chairs we pushed together but I didn't feel all that comfortable being the restaurant was so busy and our table was in the middle of a bunch of other tables. Our 3 year old had trouble sitting in his chair as well because the chairs slide around like crazy on the floor. He kept accidentally pushing his chair away from the table and almost fell a few times. Other than this, I would definitely go back - minus the kids!"

  • "One of the best Brazilian steak houses I've been to. Great atmosphere, courteous staff, amazing food. Can't wait to come back, but 8 hours is a long trip for dinner!"
    Dined on 7/20/2014
  • "I've been to other Brazilian steakhouse chains such as Fogo de Chao in other cities and this was almost as good but not quite. We most enjoyed the lamb (lamb chops and lamb shank), filet mignon and the beef ribs. The others (steak, chicken, pork ribs) were not great. The decor was appealing but the room was so loud! We could barely hear each other speak and it made for a less than intimate setting. Service was polite and helpful."

  • "I tried this restaurant do to eat at rodizio & loving it.I prefer rodizio over Texas de Brazil. This is overpriced, not very good service, and I believe the salad bar is better at rodizio. There was a nice selection if meat, but don't come around that often, almost like they want you to slow down your consumption of meat. So if you are trying to Brazilian steak house for the first time, I would look elsewhere. I was there for my birthday, and didn't realize the fine print on coupon said not valid on Saturday, that's strange since most people don't celebrate their birthdays in middle if week. The restaurant was not that busy, but we dis make reservations and was able to be aeated as soon as party arrived."

  • "The restaurant is something that you should try at least once, but I can honestly say that I won't go back. The meats are way over salted and the waiters make rounds continually. What you start to notice is that the meats get more and more well done then eventually dried out because they are keeping them hot by rewarming them in the kitchen after each round. They have a salad bar with a small variety of sides but you are only given mashed potatoes and fried bananas with your meal. So unless you truly enjoy highly salted meats for your entire dinner, you will be left wanting. And for almost $50 per person, they don't even include desert. I'm sure that I can find a much better meal for that price."

  • "The service, food and environment were amazing. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we had an awesome dining experience. Texas de Brazil is more than just a restaurant; it's a dining experience. We can't wait to return!"

  • "All you can eat either from the extensive salad/soup bar only or combined with the ample selection of meats. Prices for my 10 year old were reasonable - $22 and allowed him to try a wide variety of new foods. Restaurant is very noisy when crowded, as it was during our visit. Fantastic desserts - we tried 4 - carrot cake, pecan pie, 3 layer mousse and a papaya flavored ice cream (not on the menu). Service a bit slow on refilling waters and one of our guests had to ask for the bananas and mashed potatoes which evidently are supposed to be brought to your table automatically, but overall a great dining experience."

  • "A really nice meal served by gauchos cooked to your liking. Attentive servers, unique salad bar to compliment the delicious Brazilian meat cuts. If you leave hungry, it is on you! Save room for dessert. Great presentation. Bananas Foster Pie is delicious. We have dined her numerous times. They offer nice specials for becoming a member of their e-club."

  • "The idea is fantastic, as well as all the food. Our server was super and even showed us the cooking process. It's quite pricey though, and I would have loved to find some coupons or discount offers for those of us who savvy like that. But at any rate, my boys love this place!"

  • "Was my 50 birthday dinner so we tried this , was all u can eat and it was a very nice meat selection and salad bar also , I would give it a try again , but you need to come hungry and bring a lot of bling also , the price is a bit high , but its high class dinning also ."

  • "For the price I just expected a bit higher quality for the meat. Salad bar was amazing. Service was awesome. It was different and fun. The food was fine, but not exceptional. Our waitress was fantastic, tho!"

  • "This was our second visit and both times, the service was incredible. The salad bar is amazing and the meat - every kind - is absolutely delicious. Having 'gauchos' bringing meat to us on swords was so much fun - and plentiful. These men were fun and personable. We will be back again."

  • "Great place to eat for us low-carbers. The salad bar was awesome, and the meats were all delicious. I like my red meat cooked medium well while my husband likes rare. We were both pleased to get meat exactly like we liked it."

  • "I was a little bit disappointed with the people managing this restaurant. My main complaint is that I was expecting better table location inside the restaurant. We requested a table next to the window when I made a reservation online but we only got a table on a dark corner. The restaurant should be careful on how they treat their customers."

  • "After going to Rodizio in the Arena District, Texas de Brazil doesn't compare. It was pricy (more expensive than Rodizio), the wine list per glass was sparse and the salad bar was lacking. The meat selection was lacking as well. At least at Rodizio, you have a choice of fish, ham and grilled pineapple. I also have a gluten allergy, making me leery of trying some of the foods. We also had to get our own clean plates to start the meat sampler. I will not be going back to Texas de Brazil."

  • "This restaurant is amazing! The food is incredible and always hot! The service is also outstanding. We had a guest with us with celiac disease and could only eat Gluten free. She was personally taken around and informed of everything she could eat. That was very nice as there arnt very many places who are that personal."

  • "My wife took me to the Texas de Brazil for my Birthday, and it was the highlight of my day. While she stayed with the salad bar (thumbs up, she says) I stayed focused on the task at hand....MEAT!! I sampled everything that was being circulated, and it was all fantastic. My favorite items were the Filet Mignon (spelling?) and the beef ribs. Our server was attentive, and had very good recommendations for drinks and dessert. We WILL be coming back!"

  • "Want to feel special and catered to? Texas De Brazil is the place to go! Priced slightly higher than your regular steakhouse, but oh so worth it! Value is what I look for, and it's what I get at Texas De Brazil. The rolls are excellent , the fried bananas are a gem and all the international salad and varieties of meat you can eat is sure to satisfy anyone. The black beans and white rice are my favorite. If you are looking to impress a business client or trying to romance a special someone then this is the place to go. You won't hear loud music blaring over your conversation, or fifteen servers rolling past your table clapping hands to go wish someone happy Birthday. Fine dining the way it was meant to be, quiet, relaxing, and so delicious."

  • "Bring your appetite, as this place doesn't allow you to take home food. Thus they waste a lot of food. Meat selection good but tatse just ok. Salad bar has nice cheese selectiion and interesting good choices. I probably wont go back unless I had a huge appetite. There are many 5 star restaurants in the same area that taste better without wasting leftovers. Too pricey unless you eat like a hog"

  • "We enjoyed everything about TDB -- from the atmosphere to the staff and the scrumptious food! Our wAiter was wonderful to explain how everything worked and was gracious to keep our water glasses filled and banana refills coming! The young men serving the delicious meats were quick to learn my son's preference for well done beef and kept him supplied with ample meats to his liking. It was a wonderful experience -- I'm sure we will do it again!"

  • "Food was excellent. All through dinner everyone kept saying how glad we were that we chose Texas de Brazil. The meats were cooked to perfection. The salad bar full of fresh and inviting specialties like tabbouleh and herbed goat cheese. The lobster bisque was amazing, creamy with a light pepper flavor."

  • "I took my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner and we both loved it. Sensational flavors, great meat and cold bar. We will be returning very soon!"

  • "The good: food here was GREAT! Server was a vegetarian (not vegan) but clued us in to what meats were being brought around. Large and different salad bar. Awesome lobster bisque that night. Brazilian round steak was excellent. I had thirds. The Brazilian sausage was very good, not greasy, very flavorful, small, artisan links. The bad: The parmesan pork was so-so. Case of sticker shock on page 1 of wine list and didn't turn the page. Tried a Malbec for $48 and it was good, but with 100 percent corkage, not worth $24 retail. Few foreign selections. Page 1 also crowded with Napa wines. Yawn. I resolve to turn to page 2 next time. More good news: lunch prices lower, fewer meats. Time to rethink AYCE (all you can eat) for midday meal. I am."
