  • "Food was very good, but our server was even better... Very impressed Was a good time"

  • "Be sure to go hungry! We love coming here for dinner. Be sure to pace yourself!"
    Dined on 8/10/2014
  • "This is definitely worth it for lunch. You get pretty much the same cuts of meat as dinner (minus filet and lamb chops) for half the price. The house cut sirloin is all you need which they have for lunch. Great for groups and special events!"

  • "The food was excellent, no need to rush just sit back enjoy the atmosphere. The service was kind knowledgeable and friendly. There was plenty to eat at the salad bar and the meats were brought around the table on multiple occasions!"

  • "This was our second time and like the first time, it was great. Unusual, great service and very tasty. Our table this time however was in the back and it was a little too cramped, dark and loud. The acoustics aren't the greatest. We almost had to yell to be heard. That being said, it was a 9 out of ten experience. We will come back for sure."

  • "Texas de Brazil is an amazing restaurant! There are many options on the menu and the salad bar. The service is great from the time you enter the door. The feel is welcoming and paired with great food will have you going back for more!"

  • "My wife and 6 of our friends recently ate at Texas de Brazil in Columbus Ohio. Our first experience there several weeks ago was amazing but this trip was a little frustrating to say the least. Food was great as always but at the end of our meal with our checks being delivered several of the couples realized (without being foretold by the waiter) that they were charged for refills on coke and sprite, while another couple who ordered the strawberry lemonade was charged $14.99 for a pitcher (once again suggested by the waiter but not told that it would cost extra). Charging for refills is petty. Even McDonald's offers them for free. Probably won't be eating here again. Sorry"

  • "My wife and I have always enjoyed the Brazilian Steakhouses! There are several in San Antonio where we previously lived. We definitely know what to expect. There are two that I know of in Columbus. Rodizzio's and Texas De Brazil. Texas De Brazil is by far the best. Excellent cuts of Beef, Lamb!!! They also have Pork and Chicken on the menu. The salad bar is incredible. You could just eat a whole meal from there. My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend. Just bring a huge appetite. It is all you can eat. Puts a little dent in your wallet. But we only go for special occasions. If you sign up with their website, there is a $25 coupon also."

  • "The food was very good, options were great and service was excellent. However the winner on the night was the bar tender. Every drink was made to perfection especially the caipirinha! Would go back just to have drinks at the bar even if not hungry....."

  • "The manager was very nice and engaging. It was very good food with a nice salad bar. Can't wait to return once my money comes back."

  • "Amazing staff. The salad bar was absolutely amazing. The only bad side, and this is critical, the meat tasted like the chefs dumped a pound of table salt on it."

  • "The very best, we will be back ,I love the lamb chops"
    Dined on 8/3/2014
  • "Never disappoints! The salad bar alone is worth going for."
    Dined on 8/2/2014
  • "For the quality of the food, the price was very expensive. The filet mignon, even bacon wrapped, was flavorless and over cooked. The only beef cut that was seasoned correctly was the flank steak."

  • "Very nice restaurant. The food and service was great. The presentation of the Food on the salad bar was beautiful. Nice way to spend our 30th anniversary"

  • "Went for dinner the night I proposed to my fiancé and it kinda ruined the rest of the night, cold bar was good like it was the first time. Lobster bisque was amazing. But when it came to the meat carvers it got very disappointed. We had 5 of the 15 meats come around and almost all of them were burnt or overcooked and chewy. Told the sever how we had only had a few of the people come around he said he'd have some more for us and just sent the ones we'd already seen. When I went to first time I told. Everyone about it, probably won't go back now."

  • "We have been here a few times before and raved about the food. We brought 4 friends along with us who had never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before and the service we received was a horrible representation of what we have experienced at other restaurants. We sat for almost 20 minutes before any servers came around with meat. We had to ask our waiters several times before we finally were served cuts of meat. They were also very slow with clearing plates and keeping drinks full. The restaurant was not overly busy to explain the lack of service we received."

  • "Not only is the selection of meat fantastic, but the quality is tip top! Also noteworthy, the salad bar is absolutely amazing. Everything is high quality and delicious! This place is great!!"

  • "Its a bit on the steep side for pricing. Upscale buffet eating and not for the faint of heart. Definitely not kid friendly as far as the menu goes but overall good experience but likely not one I'll repeat."

  • "We had a great time and our server was awesome. The food was great and the ambiance was just right for our celebration"
    Dined on 7/26/2014
  • "My only concern was the noise level. That night it was too loud to enjoy the atmosphere or my date."

  • "This was a great first time experience and I look forward to bringing my family next time."
    Dined on 7/25/2014
  • "The food was salty, but overall had decent flavor. The lobster bisque soup had a great flavor, and I enjoyed it very much, but in two bowls I didn't find a single piece of lobster. It may be better titled as lobster-flavored bisque soup. No free refills on soda, and only an 8.5 oz container at that. Usually, that's not an issue, but couple that with salty food and, well, I expected more from the restaurant. Service was better than average, but the noise of the restaurant made it very difficult to carry on a conversation. All this together made the experience, just okay."

  • "Service was impeccable. We have been here many times and the servers that present you with the various cuts of meat are always the same since this location was opened. We feel this speaks volumes of the work that they do and they enjoy it as much as we enjoy being there and tasting the perfectly done meats and the incredible salad bar selection. What really sealed the deal for Texas de Brazil was the level of professional service."

  • "We ate here during restaurant week and brought our good friend who hadn't tried the restaurant. No menus were given to us and the server briefly explained the process and we began our "experience" there. At the conclusion he brought our check and to our surprise had charged the full (I'm assuming) price. My husband had to call the waiter back to the table and he explained that management instructed him to only give the restaurant week price if asked! Restaurant week helps support local food pantries and I just felt the whole thing was so sneaky and dishonest. We won't be back. Food was so-so and unless you're into eating far more than is necessary I recommend visiting a true steakhouse for the price."

  • "Contrary to what some reviewers said, we had no difficulty getting our meat choices the temperature of doneness we desired. I like medium rare and my husband likes medium well. We asked how done the meat was and if it wasn't what one of us wanted a few minutes later they would be back with another skewer. The salad bar is amazing with lots of choices and it wouldn't be hard to make a satisfying meal there. I do agree the meat is pretty salty but it is also quite tasty. We had fun but probably won't go back.....too much food for us and we couldn't eat $50 worth."

  • "We had a wonderful time all together. The food was fun and fabulous. Service was spectacular and beyond what I expected. Very professional and yet down to earth."

  • "I have been to a few other Texas De Brazil's and this one rated up there with the others. Some of the meats were better while others weren't as good but overall it was wonderful! It was not kid-friendly at all. We had nowhere to put our 2 month old in his car seat. We ended up putting his car seat on two chairs we pushed together but I didn't feel all that comfortable being the restaurant was so busy and our table was in the middle of a bunch of other tables. Our 3 year old had trouble sitting in his chair as well because the chairs slide around like crazy on the floor. He kept accidentally pushing his chair away from the table and almost fell a few times. Other than this, I would definitely go back - minus the kids!"

  • "One of the best Brazilian steak houses I've been to. Great atmosphere, courteous staff, amazing food. Can't wait to come back, but 8 hours is a long trip for dinner!"
    Dined on 7/20/2014
  • "I've been to other Brazilian steakhouse chains such as Fogo de Chao in other cities and this was almost as good but not quite. We most enjoyed the lamb (lamb chops and lamb shank), filet mignon and the beef ribs. The others (steak, chicken, pork ribs) were not great. The decor was appealing but the room was so loud! We could barely hear each other speak and it made for a less than intimate setting. Service was polite and helpful."

  • "I tried this restaurant do to eat at rodizio & loving it.I prefer rodizio over Texas de Brazil. This is overpriced, not very good service, and I believe the salad bar is better at rodizio. There was a nice selection if meat, but don't come around that often, almost like they want you to slow down your consumption of meat. So if you are trying to Brazilian steak house for the first time, I would look elsewhere. I was there for my birthday, and didn't realize the fine print on coupon said not valid on Saturday, that's strange since most people don't celebrate their birthdays in middle if week. The restaurant was not that busy, but we dis make reservations and was able to be aeated as soon as party arrived."

  • "The restaurant is something that you should try at least once, but I can honestly say that I won't go back. The meats are way over salted and the waiters make rounds continually. What you start to notice is that the meats get more and more well done then eventually dried out because they are keeping them hot by rewarming them in the kitchen after each round. They have a salad bar with a small variety of sides but you are only given mashed potatoes and fried bananas with your meal. So unless you truly enjoy highly salted meats for your entire dinner, you will be left wanting. And for almost $50 per person, they don't even include desert. I'm sure that I can find a much better meal for that price."

  • "The service, food and environment were amazing. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we had an awesome dining experience. Texas de Brazil is more than just a restaurant; it's a dining experience. We can't wait to return!"

  • "All you can eat either from the extensive salad/soup bar only or combined with the ample selection of meats. Prices for my 10 year old were reasonable - $22 and allowed him to try a wide variety of new foods. Restaurant is very noisy when crowded, as it was during our visit. Fantastic desserts - we tried 4 - carrot cake, pecan pie, 3 layer mousse and a papaya flavored ice cream (not on the menu). Service a bit slow on refilling waters and one of our guests had to ask for the bananas and mashed potatoes which evidently are supposed to be brought to your table automatically, but overall a great dining experience."

  • "A really nice meal served by gauchos cooked to your liking. Attentive servers, unique salad bar to compliment the delicious Brazilian meat cuts. If you leave hungry, it is on you! Save room for dessert. Great presentation. Bananas Foster Pie is delicious. We have dined her numerous times. They offer nice specials for becoming a member of their e-club."

  • "The idea is fantastic, as well as all the food. Our server was super and even showed us the cooking process. It's quite pricey though, and I would have loved to find some coupons or discount offers for those of us who savvy like that. But at any rate, my boys love this place!"

  • "Was my 50 birthday dinner so we tried this , was all u can eat and it was a very nice meat selection and salad bar also , I would give it a try again , but you need to come hungry and bring a lot of bling also , the price is a bit high , but its high class dinning also ."

  • "For the price I just expected a bit higher quality for the meat. Salad bar was amazing. Service was awesome. It was different and fun. The food was fine, but not exceptional. Our waitress was fantastic, tho!"
