  • "Food and Service were very good. Taylor was sweet, knowledgeable and attentive, I have been disappointed each time that they do not try sweetbreads and other organ meats. I have had those at Churracarias in South America and they were wonderful."

  • "This was my first experience at Texas de Brazil and it certainly lived up to my expectations. The waitress and waiters were excellent. The manager was also wonderful when he helped us get the evening set up. The food was wonderful and the deserts were simply fantastic. I would recommend dining here for any occasion.. Thanks Texas de Brazil."

  • "This was my first visit and it was a great experience! My only complaint is my husband and I was never made aware of the cost of the meal until we received the check. It's best to go for lunch. I definitely ate my money's worth though! Everything was delicious!"

  • "We went to this restaurant for a special occasion to celebrate a few birthdays. We have been to various Brazilian steakhouse before this one was unparalleled. The surroundings were posh. The staff was very able and exceeded our needs. We had a party of eight. Most restaurants fall apart when they see a party of that size. The food selection was amazing. We purchased a VIP card that you gave us 50% off the meal. It's a great deal and I are they recommended anybody with a large party. It cost $56. You can redeem it for 50% off up to 12 meals on Sunday through Thursday nights. We saved over a hundred dollars. It was a great experience !"

  • "This is a place for special events and for a great meal. I will be back again for sure and i highly recommend everyone who likes meat to go here."

  • "Fun atmosphere, we've been here before, it does not disappoint! Attentive service, excellent quality foods. Enjoy your self induced meat coma!!!!! Tip: if you find some meat selections overly salty (I do) ask for the center cuts, and avoid the outside fired ends."
    Dined on 3/1/2014
  • "Promise! The variety and selection of meat is so delicious that you will need to pace yourself. Be sure to TAKE YOUR TIME AND INITIALLY LIMIT THE PORTION SIZE of the selection of different meats coming to the table so you can enjoy the flavor of each one. Don't worry they will be back around with more. THE BEST WAY TO ENJOY THIS STYLE OF RESTAURANT: Be sure to give your stomach room for that next delicious meat (Beef, Chicken and Pork). The Salad Bar is tempting but go light on your portion sizes there because you will appreciate the extra room you have between your belt and your pants when it comes to selecting that next cut of meat. Ambience at this particular location is amazing. Be sure to look up during the dinner."

  • "Wish our service had matched the beef quality, but hey, it is a large chain restaurant. Our waiter was obviously being encouraged to sell any add-ons he could. Texas de Brazil is famous for their meat choices, and the beef (which is ALL we ate after that incredible salad bar) was oh, so juicy!"

  • "We waited 15 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation, and then were seated in a high traffic area. At least 3 different servers rammed into our table at some point. Many of the meats we so salty they were inedible. Our server disappeared throughout the night. By the time she came back for our drink orders we decided not to order any, and she never brought the promised clean plates. All in all, not a good experience. Go to Fogo de Chao."

  • "Look no further for great food, service, and value. The meats were flavorful. The salad bar gives you a variety. And the yummy bananas are like a dessert. Having tried another Brazilian steak house, and being disappointed, we gladly returned to Texas de Brazil. Look no further for a top notch dining experience."

  • "Had a reservation at 7:30. Our table was ready when we got there, but it took them almost 10 minutes to seat us. We finally decided on a bottle of wine, at this point it's already 8:00. Slowly ate a plate of food from the salad bar and still no wine and no water. Its almost 8:30, if we had known it would've taken almost 45 minutes to get the bottle, we never would've ordered it, much less spent $100 on it. The sirloin, their signature dish, was very salty and cooked medium well! They said everything came out medium rare to medium, which is how I like my steaks cooked...There are much better restaurants in addison that I'd rather spend my money on. We won't be back."

  • "Texas de Brazil has been one of our favorites for years. Our most recent dinner there, though, seemed a little off. The wait staff was not quite as attentive as usual and the Gauchos were running at a frenetic pace. Multiple times, they started serving a piece of meat before getting the full answer if you wanted that type or how you wanted it cooked. Overall though, this was still a good dining experience, and we will continue to return."

  • "It has been years since we had last been to Texas de Brazil. Never thought to go for lunch. A thoroughly enjoyable experience! The waitstaff was so attentive, it made you feel very special. The meats were outstanding but I had forgotten what a fantastic array of salads, cheeses, meats & soups were available as well. First time for my daughter & she can't wait to go back. Normally there would be no room for dessert but someone from a table nearby sent over a chocolate mousse cake as a surprise. Now, every restaurant has their own version of a large chocolate cake & they are all delicious.....but this one was over the top! Truly something special with white chocolate & dark chocolate mousse with a dark chocolate ganache. Delicious! Bravo!"

  • "Went there for my birthday. I took the 4 men in my life husband 2 sons and father in law, they all came hungry and left in a meat coma. The cuts of meat were delicious, plenty sides from the buffet. I found it strange they had the Caesar salad ingredients except Caesar dressing. Great service. The only comment my husband said was beware, once you turn that disk over you are swarmed with gauchos trying to feed you meat. The 20 &21 year old tried but were eventually beaten by the abundance of food."

  • "It definitely had one of the best salad bar that I've seen at a Brazilian steakhouse. Everything was delicious."

  • "Everything was spectacular. We had a reservation for four on New Year's Eve, and as soon as we stepped in the door, we were greeted and seated. It took maybe 1 minute tops to get from the door to our table. There were a few items from the salad bar which were not my cup of tea, but that's more of a personal taste issue. The service was above and beyond as always. The meat was simply amazing with the picaña being the stand out dish. My mouth is watering just thinking about it."

  • "Texas De Brazil is possibly the finest chain I've ever enjoyed. We have been to Orlando, San Antonio, Denver, and Addison. The San Antonio store still stands out as the finest. The food is exceptional at all of them. No other churrascaria compares."

  • "Texas De Brazil is the perfect place for the perfect evening. The food is great, staff is friendly and professional and the ambience is amazing! It is an excellent choice for any occasion. If you are looking for a gem to take guests, share an intimate evening or even private areas to accommodate a family celebration, this is your place."

  • "The food was great as always, and our waitress did a fantastic job. My fiance did note that not all the waiters serving the meat recognized the Red/Green coasters on our table. Most of the time they would keep coming around and asking if we wanted whatever they had with them, even though we put both of our coasters on red and made it so they couldn't miss seeing them. Other than that, everything else was great!"

  • "It is a wonderful experience. Not only the meat offerings (don't miss the picanha) but also the side dishes are delicious. The service was amazing: you had only to mentally form the wish, and it was fulfilled. Many thanks - I can't wait to go back!"

  • "We arrived 10 minutes before our 1 pm reservation. We had to wait 55 minutes past our reservation time before we were seated. I expected a manager to stop by and acknowledge this problem, but no one did until we were seated and it was handled very poorly. I eat at Texas de Brazil twice a month. I will not go back because of the way we were treated. No restaurant should overbook themselves to the point where a guest have to wait almost an hour after the reservation time. Texas de Brazil should have managed their reservations better."

  • "Been here several times. Although the service did not live up to the previous visits we still had a lovely dinner. Meats were slow this time to come out and we felt they kept coming with chicken even though we asked for only specific meats...took a very long time to get the right meats to come around. Still enjoyed it and will return...The waitstaff and gauchos are part of what we enjoy so just hope this was an "off" night for them and not the new norm"

  • "Were both excellent. However, even though we had a reservation for 3 pm we were not seated until 3:50 pm. That was a complete drag!"

  • "Great restaurant. My family always goes to the one in Ft. Worth for Thanksgiving. This year they did not have the time we desired so we went to the one in Addison. The food and ambiance was great, but the service towards was a little slow. My glass of water was not refilled without having to search and ask someone to do so. It took about 30 minutes to get our desserts after we ordered them. Our coffees which we ordered with dessert came about 5 minutes after desserts were brought. Overall we had a good experience, but service was slow."

  • "Great restaurant if you love good food and excellent wait staff, particularly if you don't mind waiting over an hour after your reservation and watch those scheduled after yours get seated. Don't know that the staff at the initial check in are that organized or that courteous, particularly when it comes to problems they themselves created. All the trouble in the front certainly affected our enjoyment of our meal."

  • "Texas de Brazil has an informal reservation style -- you pick a time, but when you show up, you might wait. Probably on a slow night it is no issue. We waited about thirty minutes, on a busy night, in the attractive bar. The food was delicious and the servers were very attentive. I would recommend that the salad bar be upgraded, but I am very fussy about sides. I was hoping for a quiet table, not near the salad bar, which is typically a high traffic spot. But it is just a smallish place, crowded with tables. Our table felt like it was in the middle of the traffic, but I looked around, and some others had a similar situation. Only a few tables along the walls are in quiet areas."

  • "Eating at Texas de Brazil is a real treat. Be sure to come hungry! Service is fast, efficient, and friendly. Desserts are also very good... Consider ordering the dessert "to go" as you likely will not have room to eat it at the restaurant. Be sure to make reservations if you plan on dining after 6:45 PM as it gets very crowded by 7:00 PM. The fact that there are crowds every night of the week...not just on the weekend...is strong evidence you will not be disappointed. My only complaint...and this is a VERY small complaint...is that the cappucino is served tepid instead of hot. But, then again, this is a Brazilian restaurant...not Italian!"

  • "From the time we walked in the door untill we left we had great service. The gentleman that sat us did a great job explaning the specially drinks, wine, and incredible appetizer/salad bar. Our waiter was very attentive to our table including pouring our wine when need and making sure we got the meat cuts we liked the best. All the food was wonderful from the lobster bisque to the perfect cooked meats. Very unique dinning experience from your typical Steak House where you just get one cut of meat, potatoe, and vegi"

  • "Restaurant was very dark and tables were jammed together quite closely. Servers were attentive with meats coming quickly. Overall the meats were great and the salad bar was very good, but not exceptional. Great value with a 2 for 1 coupon but I wouldn't return unless with a coupon."
