Located inside Masa's famed sushi restaurant, barMASA.   • "Our dog died in December, he was a Japanese Shiba Inu named Tetsuo. When we "Yelped" the neighbourhood upon our last tour of Vegas, we couldn't resist heading here. It was SO great, we went twice, in three days! Food was great, our service was stellar and the ambiance was fantastic. Great cocktails & beer, creative menu, wonderful preparation. We ate FAR too much both times. Our waiter really shone and went above and beyond for us - he was newer from the mid-west, hispanic...amazing. Thoughtful, courteous staff. All the diners at our station the second night were super relaxed and chatty - I'm sure it's because they felt so at home. Thank you for a beautiful homage (twice) to an amazing companion. "

Food was wonder, executive chef wonderful, and we sat next to Robin Thickes dad, what more could you ask for an evening. We have not had a bad meal at Aria and will definitely return."

  • "This has got to be the best meal we have ever eaten at Aria! My husband and I have stayed at Aria the past 3 years, and love it. This is the first time we've had dinner at Tetsu, and it was a phenomenal dinner experience. It's not your momma's Japanese hibachi restaurant, LOL! The menu is al a cart, each item prepared individually for each person, and the presentations are beautiful! It was like dinner and a show, and the show is your dinner. We can't wait to go back!"

  • "Having lived in Dallas and Houston most of my adult life, I have eaten in some fine restaurants. This one by far exploits the fact that it is in a high-end casino hotel by charging ridiculous prices for the absolute smallest servings! I am a small woman who normally shares a dish because I don't eat a lot. Here at Tetsu, I barely satisfied my hunger with two dishes. They tell you that the portions are only for one. Believe it! The filet is $12.00 per oz. Do the math on that if you want a 10 oz steak! And that's just the meat! No sides!! My male companions were flabbergasted! The food was good but not worth the price."

  • "I'm used to great Teppan where I live, but this place is over the top. Prices are actually reasonable for Vegas. A whole lobster (big) is only $62. The appetizers are great and inexpensive (baby bok choy $3). I high recommend this place."

  • "I had never experienced teppanyaki before and the menu at Tetsu caught my eye enough to give it a whirl. It's hard for me to put my finger on, but I didn't love it. I didn't dislike it by any means, but I just wasn't seduced by the experience. The food was good, the chef we had was very nice, though not very talkative, and everything went smoothly."

  • "Vastly inferior to the food I had at Bar Masa. Half the things on the menu I wanted were suddenly off the menu and the sauces were very poor, except for with the asparagus. Worst Teppanyaki I've ever had. Only people who think sauces come from bottles should dine here."

  • "A little apprehensive at relatively empty restaurant, but decor was nice and service was on point: courteous/helpful without being invasive. Menu was tricky to manage since everything is a la carte. We started with sushi/sashimi, then moved onto the teppanyaki courses: a small portion of the filet and ribeye, the pork belly, and the sea bass, as well as some of the vegetable sides. All were prepared and presented perfectly by the friendly chef, albeit with fairly light seasoning. Sauces are provided though. Portions aren't the biggest, but still good for sharing--we definitely left satisfied. Not the best value for money is an understatement, but if you want to splurge and have an interesting and unrushed experience, would recommend."

  • "Masa is known for creative sushi/sashimi presentations and high quality cooked Japanese standards. Tetsu continues the tradition, but in typically expensive Las Vegas fashion. Services from the sommelier, waiter and teppan chef were all professional, quality was also excellent, but probably 50% overpriced for comparable quality at other high-end sushi /teppanyaki restos. It is fine for a special occasion, but if you are just needing a good fix of Japanese cuisine, save your $$."

  • "Overpriced and the food is just average. The chef just puts your food on the grill and cooks it. The chef had ZERO personality.They emphasized fresh ingredients yet everything tasted the same since all courses were cooked with a strong herb/spice. If there was ANY dialoguue about how our meal was being prepared we may have been able to avoid having everything tasting the same. They can replace the chef with a robot or a video screen of someone cooking the meal and just bring it out. I wasn't expecting a circus act or even a cheesy knife juggling act since this was upscale, but I was expecting an amazing chef experience that focused on fresh ingredients. Instead the most we got out of the chef was confirmation of what we ordered."

  • "The service was the best part at Tetsu. Our server was always nearby and offered good explanations and recommendations for items on the menu. Our chef was great, also, - both in cooking and conversation. The food was good, too. We had filet mignon, sea bass, and spare ribs, as well as a sampling of vegetables and rice. All were prepared just right and tasted great. The only downside was the prices - a bit steep, but then it's Vegas."

  • "I hadn't been to a "Japanese Steak House" in years and years and for some reason we talked ourselves into trying out Tetsu. It was wonderful. Each station seats six people and we were placed with two other couples -- and everyone at our station had a really fun time. The ingredients were the best quality and it was fun to watch the preparation. I would definitely go back."

  • "It was the worst restaurant I have ever been. I don't recommend to anybody. Can you imagine beef with chicken mayo flavor ? They did that to me. And cost is 6ounce $80. Who want to come again? Of course I complained the beef and they changed once. But they don't know how to clean teppan. Are they iron chef? I believe they are stone chef or less. And beef was terrible. It was much worse than lowest Costco beef. No taste and just chew."

  • "My husband and I decided to try Tetsu as it looked different. We've been to teppanyaki restuarants before, but never like this. The incredibly fresh food was all laid out in a chilled island behind the grill. The menu was different than the usual teppanyaki place. My husband ordered the duck, which you wouldn't typically find. The chef came out and spoke to us about our order and described the ingredients. We were very happy with the experience, and that was before we even tasted the food. The food was fantastic. Everything was cooked to perfection and the quality of the fresh ingredients really shown through. The only thing I can even remotely complain about is that the NY location isn't open yet!"
