  • "A very nice restaurant with wonderful service and great staff! All the pastas and the pizza were very good! Enjoyed the experience! The noise level was a bit on the high side, but overall a wonderful dining experience!!"
    Dined on 4/13/2014
  • "So strict with their menu....will not deviate from their menu, altering an item from the menu is not going to happen. You know what terroni, every other restaurant in the city will so that is where I will be dining. Everywhere but there. And another thing....give people the option to order a diet cola if they want one."

  • "Terroni was amazing! The food and service were incredible! However it would be much better if there were separate bill option just to make things for simple for customers with large parties!"
    Dined on 4/13/2014
  • "The place is pretty, lots of variety on the menu. Great location. However, they are the most inflexible No changes to food. No exceptions. They have a lot of rules that is a huge turn off. Only go if you have to. It's better everywhere else in the area."

  • "We were very disappointed how this restaurant has gone downhill. No side plates for bread no black pepper or grated cheese offered."

  • "Bill of $82.89 left $92.00 after 3min I received a call, I left not enough money I went back inside and the cashier show me my bill and I left only $75? (as a magic $17 disappear) right away i gave $15.00 and only after I start to explain to her I LEFT A TOTAL OF $92 so was missing $17 dollar... ...she didn't say any kind of sorry or something like that, even when I said "I never will come back, that's really unsatisfying" LIKE REALLY???Customer like me bring to you money, and if you have a job you need to say Thanks to the customer who bring to you job! There was once a time when the customer is always right... The manager should look into if they don't wanna lose more customers..."

  • "If you are going to refuse to slice my pizza then you must provide me with something a little sharper than a steak knife to get through your carboard pizza. The food is mediocre, there are no standouts. The good news is they are kid friendly , although they could use more highchairs. They also have a fabulous rooftop in the summer .I hear they don't serve any diet coke, even though many patrons beg for it. Why not try and please your guests?"

  • "Be forewarned that they do not split up bills or bring extras to the table that could alter the way the food tastes. Terroni is the way it is and there isn't much more you can do about it - so it is the kind of restaurant you don't expect much from."

  • "I have to say, I'm never disappointed with Terroni. while my favourite location remains the queen street original, this location, with its beautiful patio is a close second. The wine list is ever changing and interesting, the food is reliable (I had the halibut - fresh and delicious) and the ambiance is friendly and has a great vibe. The only complaint I ever hear is about lack of willingness for substitutions, however, I have heard them make the odd exception. I can understand how this would be frustrating with an allergy and perhaps that is reason to call ahead to see if they can accommodate. but if you are open to trying new and don't have any significant allergies, this is a great spot for lunch or dinner"

  • "Great to eat yet again at Terronis. It is a relaxing place. Food is consistently good and service was prompt. Although, when I arrived there was one other person in the restaurant in a small space. They put me beside them but had some tall gentlemen with me. When asked they moved me promptly. So solid and consistent. You can't help but want to go back. Janet"

  • "The minute we walked in the hostess downstairs was miserable, rude, and did not smile. Our waitress was not friendly nor pleasant. She never checked on us and would look over and clearly see that we were finished or in need of something but did not attend to us for a long time. The food was amazing but not sure if I would go back because of my experience I had."

  • "A lot of credit must go to our server whose contribution to a lovely evening cannot be understated. The food and ambience were good, as was the recommended wine. The energy and noise level go up as the evening progresses and table conversation becomes more challenging. Let the restaurant know your table preference and it will try to accommodate."

  • "Terroni's is our new favourite place for family events. Birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Great food and service, nice atmosphere."
    Dined on 3/23/2014
  • "I ordered the "fresh" mushroom salad. It came with white button mushrooms, and absolutely no dressing. When I asked for some type of dressing, I was told there is nothing but hot sauce and oil? It was most disappointing and for $10."

  • "Hello. I thought the restaurant was beautiful. Because it was busy the device was slow but that was not the deal breaker. I love pizza and especially love pizza with meat and onions and was given only one choice to have a meat pizza with onions. Was not allowed to add onions to anything. I would only come back with my kids because all in all it is more of a family restaurant then a place to go for a date. Set menu, lots of noise. Not romantic. Basically a food factory where you can turn over the tables as fast as possible hence the set menu."

  • "Very spacious restaurant that can easily accommodate large groups with a large selection of interesting wines from all regions of Italy although wine prices are marked up 300% from LCBO list prices on average. Service is fast for those attending theatre afterword's but changes to menu orders for substitutions of other ingredients or removal is discouraged. Cookie Counter selection. With size of the restaurant it is an energetic atmosphere with music. Recommend reservations no later than 5:30 for those who prefer a quieter atmosphere."

  • "Yeah. Clumsy server spilled an entire glass of red wine onto a brand new skirt while bringing the bread. Restaurant replaced the wine but that was about it. Food was average, overpriced for its quality. Really loud in the restaurant, and the tables are too close together (which explains why the constant stream of wait staff parading behind my seat managed to kick or bump my chair at every pass. Never again."

  • "The food and drinks were fantastic. As we had only dined at Bar Centrale before, we were expecting things to be of a similar quality, and they were. We expected the meal to be more expensive as well, but were pleasantly surprised with how reasonable it was. It is a lovely little space. The only thing that wasn't so much fun is the spacing between tables. It makes flow difficult and the restaurant seem that much louder. But overall, it was a great time."

  • "The food was delicious. Our waitress was not great and not present. We waited for a very long time to ask for refills and our bill. I found it rude when I asked for balsamic vinegar to go with the olive oil for our bread that she gave me some long winded lecture about high quality olive oil and then walked away and never brought any. If I wanted balsamic vinegar she should have brought me some, no?"

  • "you should here, absolutely LOVE ALL THEIR PASTAS! Fresh, authentic and tasty"
    Dined on 3/2/2014
  • "After struggling through the Italian menu, we chose pasta with ragu and pizza primavera, which arrived quickly and were fresh with good ingredients but bland and boring. Disappointing food. Very loud restaurant with everyone shouting over the loud reggae music. Fireplace was nice. Waitress was polite. Manager, who seemed harried, was quite impersonal. Felt like a roadside diner. We would not go back."

  • "Very nice experience; kids loved the food (4.5 and 3yo). Reservation worked perfect, lots of families with little ones on the second floor."

  • "Saturday night was lively and the service was quick and friendly - but the food was ok and overpriced. Safe to stick with Pizzas. Small slice of Salmon came on a mint sauce with nothing else - for $23 - left you feeling wanting. Sausage pasta dish in olive oil was ok - but didn't have a lot of flavour. Overall a decent experience but perhaps overpriced for the quality of food."

  • "Exciting and tasty menu. Terroni still makes one of the best pastas in the city. Very friendly and attentive waitstaff."

  • "I absolutely LOVE Terroni... Each of the locations have their own personal flare and the good quality does not waiver! If you don't choose Terroni I promise it will be a mistake! Anything you order on this menu will melt in your mouth and soothe your hunger and taste buds like no other!"

  • "We went on valentines day, 2014 and were surprised at the sheer number of children in the restaurant - every second table had a few children and most were noisy. We were a bit put out by the service - we were told a couple times that our server was leaving and someone was taking over for her, but this was about 10 minutes after we had been seated and so to settle up with her would make little sense. Our new server was pretty brusque; between the two of them we felt rushed. My partner ordered the duck ravioli, which had a tasty filling but unfortunately had a very flavorless sauce. The portions were on the small side and on the whole the meal is not a good value for money choice."

  • "My husband and I have travelled in Italy so bring some knowledge of the cuisine to this message. The olive oil was sour and unpleasant. We would have preferred having the option of butter on the nice coarse bread. My seafood la mere was excellent but his scallopini was tough, flavourless and should never have been served on a bun. We sent it back to the kitchen and were credited so this mollified us somewhat. My grandson quite liked his bean soup. The location was fine but that scallopini was very disappointing. Mind you, he would have liked to have a chance to order a club sandwich as, I suspect, would many of the other lunchtime diners."

  • "Nothing seems to change on the menu but it is a great space. Seemed like they skimped on my toppings this time. One sliver of artichoke heart was a little disappointing, and three olives. Other than that it was great."
