Terroni YONGE (at Price St.)Not a very romantic date night. Not a very romantic date night. Too noisy at first and more children than I'd expect but they were gone by 8ish. The playlist wasn't the best either. Food and service however, fantastic! A favorite for sure.7/4/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother lovely afternoon at TerroniI have been to Terroni on Yonge Street at least 10 times in the last year -- taking in Bar Centrale as well as Terroni upstairs and the roof patio -- and have had only good experiences with food, drink and service. No, it's not an inexpensive lunch or dinner, but also not outrageous given the location. The menu offerings of antipasti, salads, pizzas, pastas and mains are imaginative, plentiful and, in my experience, high quality and usually delicious. The half order of Burrata is a wonderful meal in itself. The only complaint I would have about any of my visits would be with the noise level later in the evening; some would call this buzzy and a significant attraction.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall great, but...Food, server and atmosphere was excellent. Only negative was the girls at the front were not very friendly (there were three of them and all seemed to be more interested in their own appearance more than the incoming/outgoing guests).5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGood experience at TerroniGood experience. Great food. Great atmosphere. Good service minus one annoying mistake. Ordered drinks for our meal. They forgot about it and brought the drinks to the table AFTER the meal was finished and then charged us for the drinks. Annoying. It was busy. Still a good experience overall.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat RestaurantGreat Food, Stuff & the Restaurant itself is so cool and very italian5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat casual italianFirst time at the new uptown location. Great ambiance, nice choice of dishes, comfortable, casual vibe.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMMeal-Blip?The spaghetti ca pomorola was not the same quality as I am used to..consistently at Terroni Queen West. There was a ton of oil on the plate, Too many basil bits mixed into the sauce (never had it that way before..too much basil not a good thing). Just the garnish on the top usually. Also, not enough salt.
I have never ever ever had a bad meal at Terroni ever and I have been going to your restaurants for years. This is sooo weird considering you guys never make alterations, substitutions or ever change the formula which in my opinion is of such a high standard. SO, why this time? I didn't complain to the waitress because I was having such a good time! Gave 3 stars instead of 5 due to the dip in consistency.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMI've loved Terroni since theI've loved Terroni since the beginning....a Toronto treasure. True to its roots Terroni brings the Italian tradition and vibe to us as authentically as can be.
Lucky for us.
