  • "Food was good, but portion sizes were too big. Service was good, but the reservation took one of my guests to a different table which was weird. Don't like that there'e no pinot grigio option on the wine list. Overall, a good experience though!"

  • "The waiter was kind of rude when he WAS waiting on us. The ambience is a little cluttered, so really only ideal for couples dating. The menu and the alcohol choices are a little strange for Italian. Really remiss of them in particular not to carry Nastro Azuro Peroni. The hostess is super friendly and great though. Pro tip- request to not be seated near the bathrooms as you will get bumped by passers by."

  • "Certain members of my party were interested in having some balsamic vinegar alongside the olive oil for the bread. But the waitress informed us that we weren't able too because of the owners special olive oil. Which we all thought was weird to impose such a rule when it was asked for. I understand not offering it regularly but it should be provided if asked for. The waitress was very attentive and knowledgable. The fried calamari were spectacular, definitely will be recommended to others."

  • "My husband enjoyed a great dinner on the patio last Thursday night. The ambiance was great and the service was good. The only thing that I would say is lacking is your wine menu. I know that Terroni is an Italian restaurant and understand the idea of having only Italian wines. I just feel that other choices would be great! (California!!!)"

  • "Our server was great - she helped us pick an excellent bottle of wine, made food recommendations, was attentive, knowledgeable and sweet. Food was good, music was good."

  • "The ambience was great and the service amazing. One of us had ordered a pasta with truffles and waiter wanted to make sure the truffles weren't too overpowering for the one who ordered it so have him a sample first! Very yummy food!! Will definitely go back"

  • "Terroni is one of the best pizza/ S. Italian restaurants in the city-period. The food is consistently amazing, and the value is good. The service is generally excellent. My only gripe with it is the wine is far too expensive. I generally just skip ordering any. I simply fail to understand why Terroni cannot include an inexpensive 'house wine' (as Viva Napoli on Mt. Pleasant does). This would greatly enhance the dining experience at this restaurant."

  • "We booked on line so hoped for the best- we were blown away. The food was fab, the ambiance sitting outside in the early evening sunshine was great and we just had a lovely evening. Truly felt like we were in Italy."

  • "We were out for a special ocassion. Made a reservation ahead of time and all was done handled professionally. Even though we mentioned that it was for a birthday, we were placed close to the washrooms. While we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service, we could have done without the hint of washrooms' scents coming from down the hallway... And the waitress made no special ocassion out of the birthday! If you want to eat at Terroni on Queen, make sure they do not sit you towards the back, so the smells seeping from the hallway will not mix with the great food and drinks to be enjoyed."

  • "Jeremy was a fantastic server - he paired our food wonderfully with the wine Matt is very knowable of his wine. He picked 3 beautiful bottles for us. I love Terroni and will always go back"

  • "Absolutely love this place. This was my first time at this location. The patio was well-worth the trip. The prosciutto is the best I have ever had and will come back time and time again just for that. A little disappointed in the wines. They were out of our first 3 picks. They have an extensive list so we weren't at a loss, but still. Great time! Highly recommend. "

  • "Our experience at Terroni Queen was wonderful. It always is. Consistently great. It was also a lovely evening to sit outside on the patio. We had our two year old grandson with us for this family evening, and they treated him very well. Many Thanks Terroni! "

  • "I always look forward to visiting Terroni when I'm in Toronto, and it has always been a fantastic experience to enjoy excellent food in such a great atmosphere. It's always on my recommendations list for friends visiting the city, also, as it reliably delivers. The one suggestion I could think of making is that more wine selections by the glass would be welcomed. Already looking forward to my next visit. "

  • "Consistently great food and service from very nice staff. Staff are genuinely nice and don't hover. There are a wîde variety of choices on the menù and something affordable for those on a limited budget. The back courtyard is a really nice place to relax and share a meal en tête à tête or with a group of people. When there were people with small children at the table, the kids were always delighted to be there. A place that people take their wee kids for those lazy weekend brunches or early dinners. There is no kids menu but the food is FAR better than any kid's meal and cheaper when buying as a family. A great place to bring a date. The reataurant has 2 levels, a courtyard, a bar. The vibe in the restaurant is relaxed, even when busy. "

  • "We took our granddaughter for her birthday brunch to celebrate her eight Birthday! The two 70 year olds and the birthday girl had a great time. Outside patio! The grilled calamari was shared by all and excellent. Frances had a margarita pizza( their pizzas are always amazing). I had speggettii al lemoni. perfection!and Poppa ate all his favorite pasta of sausage, peas and cream! Beautiful day! Beautiful food! Amazing wine! What could be be better?"

  • "The food in Terroni's is wonderful!!! We had appetizers, pasta and pizza, along with a great bottle of wine. I loved my experience. My only recommendation is that the restaurant cut up the pizza. We had trouble doing this with our knives. Overall, though, I enjoyed myself immensely. Thank you!!"

  • "We came from Ottawa and had reserved on line for a special anniversary romantic dinner. What attracted us to this place was the authentic sounding menu. Maybe the on line reservation options should warn us about the atmosphere we were going to encounter. Well as we entered this noisy noisy family frendly establishement we realised that we were not going to have the romantic dinner we had envisaged. There was no house wine available and the wines were unnecessarily expensive. We decided to change our plans. for the evening and had pizza and beer instead of a full blown romantic dinner. I must say, the pizza was great. It is the closest we have found to the great pizzas in Naples. "

  • "I have always loved going to Terroni with friends. It's a great, fun place to hang out with a lively, energetic atmosphere with a laid back, yet hip vibe. Pizzas are excellent, very authentic Roma style. They use San Marzano tomato sauces, which is key to its success. All pastas are made in-house and are absolutely delicious and melt in your mouth. Recently, I had a bacon-wrapped filet steak with grilled veggies, cooked perfectly medium rare. For dessert, I had the chocolate torte flourless cake with warm center, and it was DELICIOUS! Deep rich cocoa flavour! "

  • "Best italian pizza in Canada I've ever had and I'm italian. The service was a bit slow and the place was super noisy, but it was worth it."

  • "Firstly the food is quite good. I found the service very good. My 2 complaints: (i) overcrowded - barely able to navigate tables; and (ii)"

  • "I found Terroni was a little overrated. Many reviews raved about it, including one of my friends. The main reason I went there was to take my boyfriend out for a romantic Italian dinner to celebrate his 20th birthday - it was too noisy, and tables were crammed. I had to constantly repeat what I was saying because it was that loud. Food was pretty decent. Maybe I went the wrong night - ( Friday) but it seemed more like a group/ kid place to me. Definitely would not celebrate important milestones there! "

  • "This restaurant has been mostly a hit for me during my half a dozen visits, but the last time was a bit of a let down. I will be back for sure but it has lost it's place on my favourites list"

  • "They have very yummy pizza. The bread with olive oil they brought out at the beginning was a nice touch, but would have been better with an oil/balsamic vinegar blend. I ordered the calamari, which was very good but it missed a dip on the side. When I asked the server for a dip, they said they don't do dips, they only have olive oil. For my pizza, I ordered a Arugula/smoked meat pizza, which was missing the cheese (something to hold the ingredients together). It was very messy eating it as the ingredients were all loose on top. It felt like I was eating a pita bread with a bunch of ingredients on top... Expensive experience, for what it is."

  • "We ate at this location a few years ago and the food and service were stellar. On this evening, the food was mediocre and the service lacking. Our waiter was nice enough, but nowhere near fast or attentive enough. We'll definitely be heading elsewhere for Italian food from now on."

  • "The place was packed with families on Easter Friday. Food was good despite the place running at capacity. Service was quick and professional. We felt well taken of despite a full house. One little disappointment: I had made a note that we were there to celebrate a birthday on my Open Table reservation. Was hoping the dessert would come with a candle but didn't happen. As the place was packed, I didn't feel like reminding the waiter before we sat down. So I guess I couldn't really blame them for missing it. Overall, a great place. Will go again."

  • "I usually go to the Terroni on price street which I love! This was a change but I love the service and ambience at the price street one better. "

  • "My friends and I had a great time. I got the Natalina pizza which was delicious and my friends got the seafood pasta and lamb pasta respectively. Both were extremely happy with their meals. We started with the mezzo e mezzo which is a combination of their charcutiere and cheese board. Very tasty. Their beer list is notably smaller than their wine list but that is to be expected. Hopefully they will begin to add on better craft beers as they discover them."

  • "Thank you so much to the team at Terroni. My family was running late, like an hour late. Our server didn't once make us feel uncomfortable, ask us to leave or hurry up to turn the table. Instead our server was patient, brought us wine, bread and never made us feel rushed. I think we got lucky. was so glad to give my sister and her husband a true Toronto restaurant experience (great food, great vibe) in a place where they are made to feel comfortable bringing the kids. And of course, the kids got cheese pizza and chocolate gelato. They were happy campers. Thanks so much to the team at Terroni, I really appreciate your patience and service. This place is a Toronto staple and is always on my list of top Italian joints! Cheers, Reena"

  • "We really enjoyed the pizzas and the service was excellent. We were first seated at the table in the first floor next to the washroom. There were three of us. The place is narrow and dark. We pointed to the table across, but that was not much better as the smell from bathroom detergents was more pronounced. We aske dto be moved again and the hostest found a better spot. The tables next to the washroom, right on the way, are not comfortable for dining. Otherwise the experience was very good and we will return."

  • "I had heard about Terroni for years but had never been. The menu is outstanding with many delicious Italian genre foods to choose from. The atmosphere is simple and inviting. Tables are very close together so don't expect a lot of personal space. The staff are happy to give extra plates for sharing."

  • "Great atmosphere and feel., Great food and happy faces. Server was very knowledgable and great service in the beginning. As we arrived at 6:15pm, the dinner rush soon filled the place. The service got much slower, to the point where someone else cashed out our bill. Would come again, but definately not if we are looking for great service, maybe if we are looking to just be left alone."
