  • "Food was excellent. We were as easy of customers as one could be, we knew what we wanted, we were patient when our server took our forever to come to our table, we even ordered beverage with our food. However, she was distant, not friendly, spilled our wine and with out saying a word just walked away, and put the check down as soon as we got the food. Busser said he would be back with share plates and never returned. Food was great just still quite expensive for that level of service."

  • "This restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious. Our server was excellent, the restaurant is very trendy and the food is authentic Italian food. Gluten free options would be nice."

  • "Terroni consistently delivers tasty, authentic Italian dishes served with pride. There olive oil is the best!"

  • "I had an amazing experience. The food was incredible. The server was knowledgeable and kind. She told us all about where the food came from and helped us make decisions. She was patient and wonderful. The pizza and pasta was AMAZING!! So was the dessert. I can not wait to go back. I have nothing bad to say about Terroni!"

  • "Love the food here...but the poor service this time -by the servers from the kitchen-actually made us not enjoy the food. Great wine list...but we never had anyone serve it! Waiter took our order and never returned..Food was still better than average but they need to keep their fans happy! Still love the zucchini flowere and carpaccio..pasta was great...make room for cannolis!"

  • "So close to Italy you almost feel like you are there! I will not eat Italian food anywhere else!"

  • "They need more staff so they can hit all the details. Were a bit understaffed the night we went."

  • "The food and drinks were great. I shared a grilled octopus salad and spaghetti dish with fresh basil with a friend. Both plates were delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more from their menu."

  • "The high ceilings and open interior is inventively designed, mixing contemporary with the historic: e.g. tin ceiling vs huge graphics. I was still being surprised w/interior details after a really stunning dining experience. The foods also blended the traditional with inventive new flavors, textures, colors and aromas. From start to finish, we all were all delighted with the experience. Started with the baked oyster mushrooms - crisp complex flavors. I then split the lemon pasta, having had something like it (we thought) elsewhere. But this was another original experience, with so much deep rich flavor it was like nothing I've had. Then pizza w/smoked salmon, fresh tomatoes - wow! Our waiter's help w/Italian wine was perfect."

  • "The food was inedible this can't possibly be considered award winning! A tremendous disappointment!"

  • "We LOVE this new Italian find...and make sure we always have the stuffed zucchini flowers and save room for cannolis...Best wine list but ask your server for obscure recommendations...This is a great place anytime!"

  • "Arrived on time our table was ready and we were seated right away. Our food was amazing. We got the Fritelle for dessert and it was so delicious."

  • "Excellent food and service. I don't like their approach of saving the guest's silverware and bot changing to clean silverware between courses"

  • "This is my go to restaurant for taking clients out to lunch or dinner. Fabulous ambience, great food & excellent tables for conversation. a true neighborhood gem"

  • "Ordered the fried zucchini blossoms, which were perfectly crisp and light, the porchetta special was incredible with beautifully roasted potatoes and rapini. The porchetta's flavor was deep and the meat was roasted perfectly. We ended with an arugula salad, wonderfully dressed. The food is not the issue here, it's the snotty, eye-rolling service. Maybe they are understaffed. Who knows? They forgot to check on us for more drinks, silverware, etc. But the food, that is where it's at!"

  • "The ambiance and service were outstanding. Very romantic for a date night. The cocktails were also delicious! The food was just so-so Italian- not really memorable at all."

  • "We had a server with a chip on her shoulder. 9 of us for dinner, and there were insults flying out of her mouth. One of my guests asked for balsamic, and was told they don't offer balsamic in a real restaurant. Someone else doesn't like olive oil and asked for butter and was told they don't serve butter. Three of us ordered the lemon pasta dish, which was so full of lemon that we couldn't eat it and we were told to order the child's penne with butter next time. Really. The water was warm so we asked for ice, and she brought one glass of ice for the table of 9 and never returned. No next time. "

  • "They pride themselves on remaining authentic and the food was just that! and Delicious too! The setting is wonderful in an old historic building with really neat décor. The place is loud like so many restaurants. I had the lamb ragu, I was hesitant to order, but I would order that again if I came back."

  • "Love the old bank setting and great service. The menu is a little heavy on pizza and pasta, with a very limited choice of lean/grilled veggies and proteins, so it is a great place to get your carb fix for the week. The lemon spaghetti and warm, crusty bread are worth it. The sea bass was delicious. The starters have almost all fried dishes and none are very good, so opt for one of the salads to share. You'll feel better before moving onto the pizzas & pastas."

  • "Went for a birthday celebration. Food is amazing and service is terrific too. We had been to the one on Beverly Blvd. many times and love love the food. This setting is fantastic in the old bank building and the "vibe" is really unique. Can't wait to have a private party there in one of the cool rooms."

  • "Made a reservation after a busy morning at graduation ceremony. Everyone at Terroni took great care of us. We had to delay our reservation cuz of Dodger traffic- no problem. Three generations of guests- everyone happy! Fabulous drinks, food and service. The ambiance couldn't be better. A nice alternative to some of the noisier, more crowded restaurants nearby."

  • "I would not go back!!! There are no substitutions, the pizza is not sliced, no Bloody Mary's except for brunch on Saturday and Sunday, no butter is allowed on the table, absolutely no parmesan cheese if you would like extra or some for your pasta dish. Too many rules for a moderately expensive meal. They need to follow the golden rule, whatever the customer wants!!! This customer will not be back!!!"

  • "Not a very good place for a business lunch. No reason they should have to blast loud music during lunch"

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Terroni. It is housed in an incredible old LA building in the heart of downtown. The ceilings and iron work are worth the trip. Our server, Sean, selected our food and his choices were right on! His friendly, knowledgable attitude made our evening. We actually asked him if the owner was present so we could compliment him. Max came to our table and regaled us with the history of the restaurant. A total 10!"

  • "The food was really good and I am a food snob. We had a group of 9 and Laura did an outstanding job. The restauarant is in an old bank building which gives it great charm and appeal. "

  • "we had the mushroom starter, the porchetta, the sausage pasta & the "nutella" fritters. the mushrooms were really tasty and meaty. the porchetta was really dry and really fatty, but mostly unbearably dry. the sausage pasta was very greasy. and the "nutella" fritters were tough and it sure didn't taste like real nutella to us. we have nutella every sunday. the coffee was DELICIOUS!"

  • "We completely fell in love with this place! Went for dinner on a Friday night, not too crowded or busy. The food was amazing! Highly recommend the pizzas!"

  • "I should have read the other reviews before visiting this restaurant. Despite the beautiful setting/ambience, the evening was mediocre because of the inflexibility of the staff/kitchen. Same complaints from everyone (including me): no butter with bread (and no, they won't bring it if you ask), no balsamic vinegar (and no, they won't bring it if you ask), pizza comes uncut to table with a big knife (and no, they won't cut it in the kitchen or for you). Actually the food is quite good…but there are no variances to how it is served or with what sides/additions/subtractions. Too pompous in my view. All of this is done under the guise of being 'authentic' Italian. I'll try other recommended restaurants nearby before going back here. "
