  • "Dined at Terrazza with my fiance and parents. The Risotto was the best I've tasted and the u-10 prawn on top was the talk of the table. The Linguini with seafood and Gnocci were equally as good. The presentation on my Mother's pasta plate was outstanding. If you are having appetizers, the caprese and the antipasto are home runs! Great service and great floor presence by manager Dillon."

  • "We had a very nice time at Terrazza, The food was good and the service was wonderful. I had trouble with the handicapped parking as there are no spots designated near the front door. I didn't know that you must have the valet park your car even if you have a handicapped sticker on your vehicle. This is something that needs to be addressed at the hotel. "

  • " When I came to dinner at 8pm, the place was quiet and everyone in the room would be able to listen in on your conversation. At one point the server actually joined our conversation. The food is overpriced even for a hotel for the quality which has declined since the restaurant was called The Terrace. It was heated up prepared food and the overpriced salads had the cheap, gassed, pink-colored tomatoes. I will not be returning. It is too bad the Ritz isn't more accommodating to local residents. Terrazza is best used as a hotel breakfast restaurant and nothing more."

This was our first opportunity to have dinner there and we left wondering what took us so long to try that! The Ritz Carlton service is impeccable in every way. Our menu choices were presented beautifully and tasted great. Staff fussed over us and we really enjoyed their company, making the evening a night to remember for a long time!"

  • "We loved being outside and enjoying the evening...the waitress tried to sell us a $25 a glass wine right off the bat and the service while ok was not what one expects at theRitz...food was not hot when delivered to the table and the order was not complete but they did rush to bring what had been forgotten....in spite of it all, we enjoyed it and will go back..."

  • "None of us had heard of Terrazza, but were confident that the Ritz Carlton would not disappoint. We were right. Our experience with a large group of 8 was outstanding. Our server, Sam, was attentive, friendly and had a great sense of humor. He exceeded our expectations. The food was very, very good and it was lovely being on the premises of the hotel. I will definitely return to Terrazza!"

  • "The terrace is a pleasant place to sit on a warm Florida evening, but bring your flash lights because the Ritz has "run out" of the little ones they used to loan you to read their menu. The very conventional Italian menu is limited. Our waitress was pleasant, but joined in our private conversation uninvited. I thought she was going to pull up a chair and tell what she thought about the people we were discussing. The meals are only overpriced in the same way that most nice Naples restaurants are overpriced. After several enjoyable evenings on the Terrace in years past, this will be our last visit because there are more interesting menus, with better presentations and service at similar prices at dozens of other restaurants in Naples."

  • "The indoor decor was beautiful tho we sat outside (and loved it). No waterside view, but a lovely little patio with great ambiance. Food at Terrazza was great. Calamari / shrimp app was just ok, but seafood linguine and shrimp risotto were EXCELLENT. Scrumptious! Small desserts were perfect size after a big meal. On the whole service was good. Good speed for food coming out and the waiter was charming and knowledgable. Only complaint (if there was one) is that for a $4 soda and a $5 coffee, you shouldn't have to ask for refills. Granted, we were a larger party (8) and it was a Sarurday night. But that was a constant for the table (empty glasses). That small thing aside, we had an excellent evening and will be returning soon."

  • "This is a very nice restaurant on the ground level of the Ritz-Carlton Naples, near the pool. Our server, Brendon, was excellent. His wine recommendation was excellent. The food was good, except that the pasta dishes (the restaurant's mainstay-it's an Italian restaurant, afterall) had way too much salt - so much so in one of them that we couldn't eat it. To their credit, we were not charged for that dish. Too bad, because we both enjoyed the place otherwise."

  • "I rated Terrazza as a "romantic," "special occasion" place, and it scores big on all points. It's a little pricey for us, except for anniversaries and other special times, but well worth it when you want to be welcomed so sincerely and treated so well. There was a limited menu for Valentine's Day, but I understand from our lovely and attentive server, Bethany, that the regular menu is much more extensive--I hope to try it soon! You hear about the lauded Ritz Carlton service--I can attest that it's true. After a very minor incident (at least to us), the staff made up for it many times over. We were bowled over by their desire to make our dining experience perfect. And it was!"

  • "Note that we never got to dine here...... the experience was terrible from entrance and greeting... until we were told that there was no way that they would seat us in our preferred location... outside... as you must know that the inside dining area strongly resembles a cafeteria... certainly not up to par for the Ritz. The staff was particularly not helpful ... to the extent that there was no "follow up" as promised with a phone call that to date has not happened."

  • "Terrazza had been open less than a month at the time we dined there. They still have some kinks to work out. The bartender did not know what a Negroni was, which seemed odd for a high-end Italian restaurant. I got a Campari on the rocks. Service was slow, considering there were very few patrons that night. We were a little disappointed that the menu was different from the menu we viewed on line when deciding to dine there. Salads were average. The octopus appetizer, however, was sublime - it was perfectly cooked and delicious. It's going to be a standout selection. Our entrees were very good, but not quite as unique and flavorful as that octopus. It was very pleasant sitting outside on the patio."

  • "The Terrace is consistently good. Wait Staff more than pleasent. Our experience was marred by the Manager's refusal to accept Ritz Gift Certificates ignobly blaming accountants. Mr. White, you may want to calculate the lifetime cost of treating decade long customers so rudely. Shame on you!"

  • "We've been to this restaurant several times and always sat outside, which is beautiful. As it was raining we sat inside, which is like a cafeteria in a freeway exit hotel. Certainly not up to the standards of a 5-star hotel, and not like the rest of this property, which is beautiful. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and ordered. And sat. And sat. Finally burgers and pasta came. They were fine but one meal (he ordered risotto) never came so after an hour so we asked for check. The manager apologized and took his meal off the bill like it was a big favor. I know risotto takes a little longer, but to take SO long (and it was Spring Break, so they must be used to families with kids?) we felt was inexcusable. Beware."

Not related to the restaurant but something to consider .......DON'T USE VALET PARKING AS OUR NEW CAR WAS SEVERELY DAMAGED AND WE HAD NO CLAIM AS WE DISCOVERED IT THE NEXT MORNING IN THE GARAGE! BE WARNED!!!!"

  • "A mediocre experience, not worth the price this time. Our very young waitress was pleasant but inexperienced and her wine recommendations were way off the mark. The menu was small, the food was good, but not inspired. Considering that this is Ritz, this restaurant needs an update and a more experienced staff. We have been here many times over the past 20 years, but this is likely to be our last visit for a while, until we hear of some positive changes."

Food was decent but service was abominable. Waitress didn't understand the menus or our orders. Wait for entree was incredible. Nice concept but it didn't work."

  • "We dined outdoors on the terrace amid beautiful palm trees, and an air of elegance. The service was impeccable, and the food, although a limited menu, had a real gem: a pasta dish with meat from braised beef that was delicious, memorably so--something like "pappardel pasta" was the name. We were served efficiently and most courteously by several servers. If you go, try to catch a sunset from the Ritz-Carlton's Gumbo Limbo (tiki bar) overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, with a drink, and then take a short walk to the hotel's Terrace Restaurant. The combination is a winner, and your evening will be remembered for a long, long time."

The hotel is not crowded between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so we had the outdoor area virtually to ourselves, which made for a quiet and intimate meal. The breakfast experience was much different. We chose to order from the menu rather than use the buffet. Ulike our dinner experience, service was indifferent, the staff unattentive to our needs. Not what we expect from a Ritz-Carlton. We'd have done better grabbing a bite in the coffee shop."

  • "They add items to dishes that are not on the menu and that are fattening so you need to be careful when ordering. Also they never change the menu. The Ritz wants its guests to eat in the more expensive restaurants. This place closes at 9 which is way too early. Also you get stuck eating next to large families on vacation. The ambiance is Marriotish."

  • "Server Jesus went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Ordered a cappuccino n the restaurant espresso maker was not working. So Jesus went to another location in the hotel to get a cappuccino for me. all through the evening he was very attentive."
