We have loved Terracotta since they opened. The food is usually very good to excellent but of late has been inconsistent on occasion. We love the fish and chips and the salmon which are always superb but salads and starters are mixed.

Had lunch there for the first time, it was very enjoyable. Food was good with large portions, especially the fish and chips. Wine is only $6 at that time with a good selection. Quiet with good service.

Friendly, warm, and inviting. An wonderful wine list, and even some very nice half bottles. I had the fish and chip, you gotta try this, excellent. My wife the "something special" salad with salmon on top wonderfully seasoned. Very fairly priced, right near the Georgia O'Keeffe museum, a gem that I have no reservations recommending. Bon appetite.

The last time we went I swore I would never go back as the food was terrible as was the service. I am happy to report that our meal the other night was delightful. I had the Casa salad with the blood orange vinaigrette and my husband had the wedge salad, both were very good. I had the flank steak for dinner which was very flavorful and my husband had the fried chicken which was excellent. We shared a berry tart for dessert which was lovely. We also had a reasonably priced Spanish wine which was excellent. We were seated in the front room and the service was wonderful. All in all we will go back again and hopefully the good food and service is here to stay.

Really enjoyed our dinner at TerraCotta. Inviting wine list. Creative menu with southern touch. Started with blistered peppers and they were delicious. Excellent entrees of shrimp with grits and asparagus ravioli. Service was friendly and allowed time to relax and savor our meal. Prices seemed reasonable. If you want a break from traditional NM cuisine while in Santa Fe, TerraCotta can't be beat! We will go back and have already recommended it to friends.

Went to Terra Cotta because of the wine by the glass happy hour. Found the wine list lacking in any nicer wines, which is mostly to be expected of happy hour wines, except that the wines are the same when not on happy hour. The bruschetta was quite good, but had the corn beef dip and it was not good. It was very rich and oily and came with a microwave-style pretzel rather than something gourmet such a baguette to dip in it. The manager was also talking very loudly with the employees right at the bar about business that should have been discussed in private. I really was not interested in the poor behavior of other employees. All-in-all, I would've rather gone somewhere else and just paid regular wine prices.

We tried TerraCotta Wine Bistro because we wanted to try something new to us in Santa Fe. The onion ring appetizer was relish! The wine selection seemed very good (although we're not connoisseurs). Live music on Tuesday nights was beautiful. The service was very good and we felt very welcomed. We enjoyed our evening at TerraCotta very much!

I came to Terra Cotta Wine Bistro after reading reviews and due to its close proximity to my hotel. The staff is very friendly and polite. The portions are large. We enjoyed the different tastes of the bruschetta. That is the good news. My flank steak was flavorless, the accompanying potatoes were delicious as were the veggies. The salmon was on the sweet side. Dessert was a disappointment, and overheard another table with the same thoughts. Save your money and go next door for frozen yogurt. The wine menu while extensive, did not have NM wines, nor great depth. If I lived in Santa Fe I would not return to this restaurant.

Service was attentive. Bruschetta and Fried Chicken were great, and ambiance was so nice. One of the owners was there and working very hard to ensure we had a great dinner and time. Service was speedy and nice. We will return, last year we had Thanksgiving Dinner there and it was superb. So sorry it took us so long to get back there, this will definitely become a regular spot for us as it is just a beautiful place to have a lovely dinner.

It's refreshing to dine at a restaurant that makes you feel welcome and at home. The atmosphere had warmth and friendliness which made for an enjoyable evening. The wine list is broad with well over 50 by the glass options. The bartender was very attentive, made excellent suggestions and displayed a depth of menu knowledge. She recommended the planked salmon which was delicious. The fish and chips and onion rings were spot on. Both were lightly battered and very fresh. This was our last night in Santa Fe and we wish we had discovered it earlier! I would highly recommend.

We were seated in the back room which has zero atmosphere - two of the party had a view of the kitchen. We ordered olives as an appetizer and they came the same time as salads. My husband had the beef tenderloin and it was nothing special. I had the salmon and it was overcooked and the sauce was overpowering. With all the wonderful restaurants in Santa Fe, this restaurant would be toward the bottom of my list.

My wife and I have enjoyed this fine restaurant several since since it opened last year. The food is very good and the service has been improving with every visit. The only drawback is the noise. When the main dining room is full, the noise level can be bothersome and reduce the enjoyment of an otherwise fine experience.

Restaurant is an old adobe house and is divided into 3 small rooms I recommend the living room. I liked the original approach to the wine list by bottle price. They have a good selection too. The food portions are very generous. For a new take on bruschetta try the Brie and fig.

Four of us went to dinner on a Friday evening, and we we each loved our meals and the wine. We did feel a little out of place as it seemed that we were the youngest folks by at least ten years (we are in our 30s and 40s) and we were the last group to leave the dining area... and it was not even 10 p.m. when we left (our dinner reservation was at 8 p.m.). Also, some people in our party of all professionals were not Caucasian and that is another reason it seemed that we were a little out of place in this setting, although the service was impeccable and we have no complaints. I am new to Santa Fe and I left with the impression that despite all of its multicultural influence, perhaps the city remains more segregated than you might imagine?

A lovely place nestled along Johnson street by the O'Keeffe Museum. The rose garden out front and wonderfully tended flowers give a preview of the interior and quality of foods. The owner is delightful and very pleasant! Tables are in a few rooms which offers more peaceful dining -- and there Is outdoor seating in the front and in the back of the old house. Mussels were wonderful and a delightful artichoke mix made for a hearty meal. All the service and ambiance of the TerraCotta are inviting and we will definitely return. signed from -- a Santa Fe local

My wife and I went to TerraCotta for my birthday dinner. It was the right choice. We found the prices, food and service perfect for our private celebration without the pretentiousness found in other Santa Fe locations. The large selection of half-bottles of good wines was welcome, indeed. The main courses gave us at least two selections of meat, fish or salads. The choices continued into the expanded dessert menu. This will become our personal, well-hidden gem.

We had to be done by 5:45 to make our 6 pm concert. Terra Cotta serves from lunch through closing which means we could easily make our commitment. We sat in the lovely, brightly decorated courtyard patio with umbrellas to keep sun away. We were greeted with friendly efficiency which carried over to our service throughout the meal. The menu provides a large selection of different offerings so we chose light fare of salad and 1/2 sandwich. Both were well presented and very tasty, including a side of home made waffle fries. We split a chocolate silk pie for desert that was well presented, but a little sticky for my taste. Prices are affordable and good value overall. We will definitely return to try other menu items.
