I had a fried oyster salad and it was great, a lot more oysters on my plate than I expected them to bring me. The Food is really good, the service was also. The only thing that I can say bad is that we were seated in the dining room at a table that faces the kitchen that when the doors open are in plain view looking into it. The place was quiet when we arrived at 6:30, but filled up shortly after that. Food was outstanding. Portions were just right(even though I ended up taking some home with me). The service was very good. THis was a girls night out and we were 'catching up' (translate as talking and not ready to order). The waitress respected that and did not bother us until we gave her the sign that we were ready. After we ordered that food arrived quickly and was excellent in both presentation and taste. The special-Snapper was to die for and the Shrimp and Grits were the best we've ever had.
We live nearby and love The Terrace Cafe. We esp like the breakfast-can order until 2 pm. Service was very good BUT the food was out of this world. We had the special of the night which was Red Snapper and prime rib. Whow!!!!!
