She always made sure we had a refill drink at our side, always asking first. The waitress was polite and friendly. The food was good. We had a wonderful time."

  • "I have only been here a few times for lunch but have been pleased every visit. Great spot for a group or like myself to meet with my counterparts to discuss business over lunch. There is something on the menu for everyone and the portions are fantastic. The food is fresh and the servers seem very knowledgable to offers suggestion from the many choices. The ambiance really gives you the feel of Napa with the art work and decor of wine country. Look forward to more lunch appointments and having dinner there real soon."

  • "A very nice place for dinner. We had a large group and were placed in the "wine room" which was very intimate and quiet in the back of the restaurant. Food was good however I was disappointed that this Italian restaurant didn't have veal parm on a Saturday night (and we were there early). Also, no cheeseburgers (on the kids menu) requiring two in our party to pick another entree. Service was a little slow but not unbearable. The lobster bisque is outstanding. I had the blackened chilean sea bass special for dinner and it was out-of-this-world delicious. We'll definitely re-visit this place."

  • "Would not return to this restaurant. Went because we received a gift card. I had onion soup for an appetizer and my wife had tempura shrimp.Shrimp were mushy. Onion soup was watery and a very thin layer of cheese. In between our side salads and entrees was a 50 minute wait. When our entrees came, filet was overcooked. I asked for medium and got medium well. My wife got a pork chop that was overcooked. Our waiter who seemed to have too many tables. It took another another 10 minutes for us to wait from our table being cleared for dessert menus. The dessert was best part of the meal. After dessert it took another 15 minutes to get the bill."

  • "We had been to Terra Nova before and had a really good meal and service (it was also playoff finals so it was quite empty). This time it was packed and we waited 20 minutes WITH a reservation. The server was ok-but would swoop by before we had a chance to respond. It was like a flyover. The food arrived for the 4 year old & was RIDICULOUSLY large-like for two adults large. My dinner arrived and was spartan-one shrimp, one scallop the 'sauce' was the lobster bisque (SOUP?!) My partner's meal was also adequate but meager (I'm on weight watchers and this was a really crappy 'cheat meal'. Save your $40+ per person and go to Club Diner or order from Papa Luigi's (these both have better food than Terra Nova)"

  • "I dined here with several business colleagues and was very pleasantly surprised. The quality of all of our entrees was excellent, from the Jumbalaya to the Swordfish to the Filet -- quite impressed that so many styles were handled with equal precision. It is clear that someone in the kitchen appreciates providing quality food and reasonable prices. The wine list was reasonably priced and provided a nice combination of selections both by the glass and bottle. The bar actually looked like a cool place to hang out but this wasn't one of those nights. I would definitely return and recommend to others looking for a very enjoyable dining experience."

  • "I made reservations for Valentine's day 2-3 weeks in advance. Upon arriving at the restaurant at our reservation time, we were sat in a 'make-shift' ballroom area. The atmosphere was awful. It was set off from the rest of the restaurant, like they ran out of tables, and quickly set up a few more. I felt like we were being punished for making the reservation through Open Table. If I was a 'walk-in' on that evening, I would have expected to be sat in such an area. But considering I made reservations weeks early, and was really looking forward to the evening, it was quite a let down. I was embarrassed I had selected this restaurant."

  • "I went with my two girlfriends for Valentine's Day. The waitress was super nice and recommended delicious appetizers (tomato & mozzarella stack and the bang bang tempura shrimp.) Their alcoholic beverages were to die for, both regular and dessert. I have been there multiple times for lunch, but never for dinner so I was glad that it lived up to par for both meals. I highly recommend trying this restaurant out."

The waitress had great things to say about the foods. Our meal was great. The bang bang shrimp was not what you would expect and was really spicy if you dipped too much.   • "The food and service were very good and we were seated almost immediately. Unfortunately, the table we had was awkwardly placed, leaving two of our party of four wedged against a corner wall near the kitchen, and I was stuck in the "traffic lane" behind the high center tables where people were sitting. Every server had to squeeze between our tables to get to the rest of the dining room, so I had trays of food and drinks being lifted over my head. I felt like I was eating in a loud hallway."

  • "My wife and I enjoy the "Pasta Sunday" dining experience which is usually very good to excellent, not so much this time. We had a early seating so the dining room was quiet, but not so for the kitchen! Our table was far enough away that the HUBBUB and COMMOTION from there should not have been an issue. I guess the management didn't notice. Our Pasta dinner selections were good. My wife enjoyed her Seafood Parmigiano and I had the Pescatore in which the calamari were chewy (rubber)."

  • "We went on New Year's Eve. Made reservations. The menu had so many interesting options, it was hard to choose. Had the Bang Bang shrimp which were so yummy we mopped up the sauce with our bread. Hubby had blackened rib eye steak w/ mashed potatoes and haricots vertes and he was thrilled! It reminded him of the asado flavor in his home country. The steak had a nice charred appearance and grilled flavor. I had the Sonoma Skewers which have veggies and shrimp, chicken and beef with basmati rice. I loved it. The servers were all friendly. We are going back!"

  • "We had a reservation. The restaurant was not packed. Why would you seat 5 women (obviously celebrating Christmas with bags of gifts) and a table at the exit of the kitchen? Other tables open...... On arrival the hostess was in lengthy discussion with a few people apparently about a party to be held at the restaurant. Sales at the front door while customers waited to be seated? She never acknowledged us (5 women?) or called someone else to seat us. We stood 5 minutes waiting, again restaurant not busy! Finally another hostess wondered over to ask if we were being helped and sat us. Server was distant and aloof. Tip reflected the attitude from the door and the service. Food was good, but service awful!"

  • "My past experiences there were good, but Christmas Eve seemed to be a strain for the staff. The food was extremely slow and we were served at all different times. When we finally did get our food, it was either not hot (bisque soup) or undercooked (vegetables) or poorly seasoned. For a special night and some of us paying extra for the feast of the seven fishes, my family of five was disappointed. Waitress was great but she had to apologize several times for the slow kitchen."

  • "Our party was 1/2 hr. late for reservation. The staff handled this with good humor. The hostess showed us to a booth which we nixed. Again, she handled it with courtesy and a quick change. Our server did not rush us. One of the people in our party did not like the house salad dressing. She requested a small caesar salad. Her request was met with a "no problem". We ordered calamari as an appetizer. It was lightly breaded and fried. Delectable little morsels without a hint of greasiness. Entrees were very generous in size = chicken piccata over linguine, pasta fazzoletti - handkerchief pasta filled with seafood, prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. All were eaten with gusto. A definite go to place!"

  • "Probably better then most in this area, but not great. They made good attempts at the dishes we ordered but for some reason were not outstanding. Have had similar dishes other places over the years that were much better. Not sure what was missing. Not really sure what a sushi menu is doing in a place like this either. Pick something and perfect it and not try to have everything under the sun on a menu. Probably won't go back. People were extremely nice though."

  • "As always this restaurant continues to serve wonderful dishes. I had requsted a bottle of white and red wine to be placed at the table before arrival and as always they follow thru with just about any request you ask. Not only is the food wonderful but so is the staff. The attention to make your experience dining here is always their top priority, as is in any well established restaurant run by what must be very smart business people who love food and wine and want their patrons to have nothing but a fantastic dining experience. The concept is why they are on the map. Two thumbs up."
