TerraGreat place. We decided to try this last week. We arrived prior to our friends, so we sat at the bar. The bartender was welcoming and friendly. Wine choices are very nice. Did not look at the beer menu, but they had some on tap. A wine was reccomended to us by one of the managers. It was a wonderful and nicely priced cab.
I had the steak and it was slightly overcooked,(I ordered med and it came med well) but still delicious. The spinach was amazing! My friend had the salmon and it was amazing!

My husband was very impressed with his spinach salad and blackened mahi meal. I had the beef filet and it was a flavorful tender piece of meat served with sauteed spinach and roasted fingerlings. We will definitely return to terra again.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Duck breast over polentaThe Duck breast over polenta is to die for! I have not had better since Chef Hans in New Orleans. Said the owner Michael Thomas had some other great restaurants such as Sterling's and 24 Miramar which I loved eating at when he owned them. So I decided to give this one a try, and I am Glad I did. Terra transformed an old standby, Pastiche into a beautiful, cozy restaurant. The earth tone colors made you feel right at home and the Mercury Glass chandeliers over the bar were fantastic. We were immediately greeted by a Host upon entering, later we found out he was Michael Thomas, the owner. He showed us to our table which was in the new dining room which had a rustic feel. The acoustics were good and we could hear each talk even though the entire restaurant was full. P4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was great, althoughThe food was great, although the portion was a little small. The service was excellent!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMA very reasoably priced andA very reasoably priced and versatile option for dining in the neighborhood. BUT, I can see it being a destination for folks to dine from OUTSIDE the neighborhood. Great moderately priced wine list with solid no-surpises choices for all varietals. I can't wait to go al fresco on the redeveloped patio!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Place! My wife and I have now dined at Terra twice. The cuisine is simply outstanding and the service is excellent. The wait staff is friendly and very well versed in the food and wine offerings. Highly recommend dining at a bistro table in the bar area- great spot. The "gourmet" doughnuts are a must for desert! Great neighborhood restaurant that is worth a drive.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
