The menu was very well put-together, and all the food was great. The only problem we had was it took a long time to receive the first round of mimosas we ordered, but it was a busy morning, and after that we had no problems. Our waitress was excellent. When it got too sunny on their (beautiful) patio and we were overheating, they very graciously accommodated our request to move inside for dessert.

Our waiter is either not cut out for service in this atmosphere or he is new and needs to improve on being attentive to his customers. He didn't seem to have a deep knowledge of the menu nor did he seem interested in our dinner experience. So a great waiter was all that was missing from adding another star to overall experience. The musician was wonderful last Saturday night--but it the volume made it difficult to chat with friends over dinner, so next time we may opt for inside. My husband and I weren't starving so split a very tasty pizza.

The food was wonderful, the staff was super friendly, and the wonderful atmosphere made this a truly great night out. The flavor of the food was allowed to be savored. This was quite good.We had a sandwich consisting of thin chicken slices with an in house made cream cheese sauce. That was pretty good.The choice of meeting place was to manage a first date. I'm always pleased when I find a restaurant that uses local and seasonal foods on their menu. Our food was delicious and the service was excellent. Ten22 was the answer. Located in Old Sac, it gave us a bit of the tourist experience hot those who wanted to shop a bit. But the restaurant itself is not a tourist trap kind if place. Warm, inviting...they had live music on the evening we went. From flights of wine to an irish coffee, the bar did not disappoint. All the food was excellent... Much sharing of plates around the table! The strawberry salad-yum. Tried the elk, kind of wished I'd ordered it. I had the salmon, excellent. Several had the lamb...not usually my choice, but it was good! Duck, and a classic steak all were ordered. Think you're full? Polenta cheesecake. If you haven't been to Old Sacramento, you should check it out. Mushroom truffle salad was incredible. I had the New York steak which was cooked well. Kids loved the Mac and cheese.
