A word from Ten Ten Tapas
Located on the iconic Seawall just steps past the Aquatic Centre, enjoy a waterfront view of False Creek and delicious West Coast tapas. Dishes are prepared from scratch using BC’s finest local/indigenous product. Fresh artisan bread is baked in-house. Fun and flavourful dishes, as pleasing to the eye as to the palette, are created daily.

Take in the sounds of some of Vancouver’s top local musicians, with Jazz Nights on Thursdays, Flamenco Guitar Friday nights and a variety of sultry vocalists backed by hornman Gabriel on Saturday nights.

Look for restaurant signs at 1000 Beach, east of the Burrard Bridge. Walk through the Plaza to the Seawall or even take the Aquabus across from Granville Island.

Come taste what you’ve been missing!

A few drink items were not available, which was disappointing. Regardless we didn't receive our drinks until half way through our meal. The food was generic and lacking. We ordered extra bread that didn't arrive until we got our bill. Would not go back or recommend.

The stuffed meatballs were recommended by our server but came to the table barely warm. The server raved about the hummus, which was very fresh and flavorful actually..but they served it with a not-so-soft, boarderline stale foccacia bread. If it had been seved with naan bread, this dish would have been memorable for the right reasons. It was "Spanish" night so they served a few Spanish dishes and drinks. I asked if they happen to have a Spanish wine on the wine list and I got a blank stare from my server who clearly didn't know... On a positive note, the servers where very friendly and helpful when asked questions about the city of Vancourver BC.

The two dishes I most wanted to try were not available but our waiter offered helpful comments and suggestions. Portions were fairly small for the price but tasty and well prepared, and service was friendly. A table on the patio proved to be a perfect spot to enjoy a waterfront view and watch an endless stream of traffic on the cycle path.

It was just ok - nothing outstanding, different or special. There have been so many restaurants in this location over the years and no one seems to have figured out the right formula. I suspect this one won’t be there for a long time.

We sat outside and really love the view. The server recommends 4 dishes for two of us and that is plenty of food. Really enjoyed the organic meatballs. It was juicy n tasty. Not so much the crabcake. The service is friendly, attentive and fast. We enjoyed our dinner there.

I see from earlier reviews that Ten Ten Tapas had some problems in its early days. These seem to all be behind them though. Our experience was fantastic. The food was great and the service brings new meaning to the word attentive. The servers all seem to take responsibility for the whole restaurant and there is no such thing as "sorry, that is not my table". We were favourably impressed and will be back soon. The water side patio with a view to die for doesn't hurt either.

Our reserved table was tucked away inside in a dark corner. We were able to move to the patio. Portions were small and prices a little high for what we received. We were clearly sharing, and the waited neglected to bring us individual plates. We had a couple of very tasty drinks and some sangria with our light dinner. These were good. One person at our table was completely neglected; he ordered a drink, it never came. On reminding the wait staff, it was finally produced. Wait staff offered to bring some sweetening for the drink and this was requested. It never came. On reminding the wait staff it was finally produced, too. By now the ice had melted. Next time out we'll go elsewhere.

The food waa decent but definitely too expensive for what you were receiving. The lamb shank tapa was breaded and still somewhat tough, and for being the dish I was anticipating to be amazing and complex, I was left sorely disappointed. Everything else was good, but be prepared to pay, and I'm not sure what for.

It was crowded that day. We waited for more than 10 minutes to be seated even though we have made a reservation and we arrived ON TIME. The food service was very SLOW. We ordered 4 items all together. The last 2 items came 30 minutes after we had finish our first two items. We loved the Duo of Hummus and Guacamole, as well as the Mini-Rack of Lamb. The Crab Cakes tasted bland, need more seasoning; the aroma mimics dried shrimp used in Asian cooking. Nothing really special about the Grilled Polenta.

This is the third time I have eaten at 1010 Tapas and each time has been a different experience. But each time the food was consistently delicious. This is a new restaurant and it appears there are some training issues with the servers that need working out. The third time we ate here the service was somewhat slow. However, the food is fresh and delicious, the ambience lovely and the location is great. Get the service levels up and keep the music levels turned down and we will be back.

I had the best bday celebration at Ten Ten Tapas. From the food, to the service, to the location everything was amazing. The tapas selection is mouth watering, my fav was the rack of lamb and my friends raved about the Moroccan chicken, the prawns and the salmon. No belly was disappointed. Can't wait to go back again soon.
