A word from Ten Ten Tapas
Waterfront patio, live music and West Coast tapas!

Located on the iconic seawall just steps past the Aquatic Centre, enjoy a waterfront view of False Creek on the best-looking patio around.

The cuisine is West Coast, served tapas-style so it’s easy to share with friends. The Culinary team uses a scratch-based approach, buying BC’s finest local/indigenous product. Fresh artisan bread is baked in-house. Fun and flavourful dishes as pleasing to the eye as to the palette are created daily.

Take in the sounds of some of Vancouver’s top local musicians, with award winning hornman Gabriel Mark Hasselbach Rockin’ the Ribjoint Saturday nights and Sunday Jazz Brunch. Thursdays is Jazz night, with a variety of jazz pianists and saxophonists such as the popular Cory Weeds. Friday nights Rossi brings the neuvo famenco with his fiery guitar and steel drum.

Look for restaurant signs at 1000 Beach, just steps from the Aquatic Centre along the Seawall.

Diner Reviews
  • "Honestly the only 3 good things this place has going for it is the live music, the location, and the fresh fruit smoothies it serves. The downside to the live music was that it was way too loud, it was difficult to talk to my family on my table. I'm sure the only reason people even come is because of the location, right across the water from Granville Island, it's quite beautiful. Fruit smoothies are $5.50 but you get a large glass and will fill you up! Maybe that's why the plates are so small and flavorless. Fish and chips were soggy, sexy salad was tasteless, chicken sandwich was standard. On a Sunday at noon there were maybe only 5 tables that were occupied in the restaurant. There's a reason the pub next door was packed."

  • "Had dinner with my 12-yr old daughter the other night. The meal was amazing starting with berry and cantaloupe infused water to carrot ginger emulsion with root vegetable chips to risotto balls to butter chicken. Yum."

  • "What a great little restaurant! The setting by the water and marina is magical. The staff were friendly and informed. The food was outstanding. The portions are small but that is reflected in the prices. A special shout out for the lamb shanks; ribs and beet salad. All were excellent. My only tiny negative was the food took quite a while to arrive but on a sunny summer night by the marina, we didn't mind a bit."

  • "Really enjoyed our evening here .... great location on the marina, prime for people watching. The food was great with many herbs grown right on the patio. Terrific cucumber G&T, dungeness crab cake, good salads & loved the root veg chips with carrot-ginger dip. Give it a try."

  • "Although the live music was very good, it did make it hard for us to have a conversation."

  • "Ten ten tapas provides a diverse menu that catered to many palates. The shareable plates allow for trying many of the flavourful dishes. The view is lovely, the service was good and we would return"

  • "We really enjoyed the food. Everything was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented and there were some original items on the menu. The service was very friendly and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. We loved the gentle and well played jazz which was not intrusive and we were still able to carry on a conversation"

  • "My Dad and I, both big foodies, were delighted with this place! The food was incredibly fresh, tasty, and creative. In fact, right beside our table on the patio (overlooking the harbour) were big, beautiful planters, filled with fresh herbs the chef uses in his dishes. Everything is made in house. Right on the harbour, you will sit and enjoy a glass of wine, a meal to impress your palate, and a view of boats coming and going in the harbour. You won't find a more beautiful dining experience; inspired dishes, beautiful view, and great service - a complete neighbourhood gem."

  • "Enjoyed the small plates as it allowed us to try many more dishes (group of 4). The food was very enjoyable with very fresh ingredients and creative combination of those ingredients."

  • "We had heard of this quaint little spot and when we found it, right on the downtown side of the seawall, literally a stone throw from Yaletown, we were pleased. We didnt have to drive so we could enjoy fine wine. Great menu, a touch of everything, great wine list and I was surprised by the bill. Very affordable. There was even Rossi, playing live guitar and walking around people in and outside. (they have music 3 nights a week and for Sunday brunch) (they also have a patio over looking the marina and Granville Island) You gotta try it guys!"

  • "This hidden gem under the Burrard St. bridge on the boardwalk / seawall is just fabulous all round. The food is all carefully prepared and thought out with the Tapas menu providing a variety of Canadian (and worldwide) favourites. Going back next week to enjoy the live music they also serve !"

  • "We booked a table for 6 and I requested that to be outside. When we arrived there were tables open outside but we were asked to be inside. After a few strange table rearrangements we finally sat outside at a table meant for 4 people. The Sangria and the food was really good BUT the service was pretty bad to be honest. Some of our order arrived 1 hour after we ordered it and by the time one of the dishes was being made they had run out of the Crab to make it with. The manager did apologize and did provide a couple of dishes to make up for it but the flow of our experience was not smooth. Ten Ten COULD be awesome and frankly SHOULD be awesome.... But it's not it's okay... So if you want okay then head there.... "

  • "Lovely spot. Sat on the patio on a quiet Tuesday night. Sampled several of the tapas offerings… some were great, some not so much. Flat Iron Steak - great. Prawns - great. Hummus - great. Fish & Chips - good. Crab Cakes - not so good (they said they were going to change). Carly was a delight as a server. Drinks were a bit of a challenge but we managed! All in all, I'd say give Ten Ten a try..."

  • "We were told about this place and only saw it while on a walk. Dinner and music was wonderful. Had the lamb shank and I loved it."
    Dined on 5/24/2014
  • "To be honest, we didn't order any food, but it looked decent. We just had jug after jug of the (red) sangria - it's too good to stop! The traffic on the seawall can get hectic, especially if there are a lot of dogs around, but if you score a patio seat, it's a nice place for an evening cocktail. Easy to miss from the street (Beach Ave.) so keep an eye out for the sign at the 1010 Beach building."

  • "What a wonderful place to go on either a rainy or sunny day. It has a great patio as well as a really cozy indoor space. I really enjoyed the tuna taco. Lots of delicate flavours and perfectly cooked tuna. Thank you for the live music! Acoustic Groove is an excellent choice for the restaurant. We really enjoyed their unique twist on familiar tunes....we had an excellent evening! "

  • "We went on a Saturday night based on a recommendation of friends. The live jazz was the key draw for us, and it certainly was great with a superb jazz duo, and 2 drop-in guest singers. What a treat in such a small venue! The food was a very nice surprise. Tapas are our preferred way to dine for a slow meal, and the every item we chose was very enjoyable. Finally, the wine list had a good selection of reasonably-priced wines, without the sometimes standard markup of 3x for red. We'll be back!"

  • "Love it, been there 3 times now. Great new chef, really interesting menu, food portions much larger than "tapas" sized. The view is gorgeous. The music is terrific. We'll be there again, very soon."

  • "Our group of four split 5 dishes and it was perfect. Perhaps not authentic Spanish, but great tapas flavors for the area. Our favorite was the ribs. Good value, also. Great location, though not all seats have a view of the marina, you still have the waterfront vibe. Super Spanish guitar on Friday night."

  • "Excellent evening - I've now been there two Thursday evenings in a row and look forward to returning to Ten Ten Tapas. Terrific staff; sensational jazz duo; excellent food. I brought three friends and all were impressed with this venue- it is definitely a neighbourhood gem."

  • "Unfortunately we came in the day that the menu had been changed and the staff on the floor did not know it. We had based our choice of restaurant on the online menu that was no longer being used and there was no note that things were being changed. My husband found a piece of plastic in his fruit salad and nothing was done about it. We would not go out of our way to return."

  • "we came upon this resto after it being highly recommended by my hairstylist. absolutely fantastsic ! From the owner, Derrik and his family, to the entire staff we were made to feel so welcome. The food and ambience are terrific. We will frequent this delightful place a great deal. Looking forward to patio dining"

  • "They need to improve. The idea of them men not bad but several issues had made my experience not very pleasant. 1) Long waiting times for the food, the restaurant was half full. 2) The Rissoto was cold when finally arrived to my table 3) mussels were dry and tasteless. 4) very poor quality in the coffee and dessert. 5)the music was nice."

  • "- seating was scheduled for 6 and we were seated quite late. - the waiter forgot our order - and casually apologized for the delay - when everyone else around was half way their meal. - ordered flowers for valentines which were never delivered :("

  • "We've never heard of this little gem until we arrived. It was really intimate for our valentine's day dinner. The Flaminco Guitarist was friendly and added an all exclusive getaway vibe. The portions were surprisingly small which explained why the menu prices were also minimal. Give it a try!"

  • "Great food; great people. Fun and entertaining staff working there. DO try the ribs! Mind you, the trio seafood was devine as well. And save room for the "DESSERT SHOOTERS". Banana Crème Pie shooter......oh yeah. It's a keeper."

  • "My wife and I tried Ten-Ten Tapas during Dine Out Vancouver because it coincided with a performance by jazz vocalist and pianist Jennifer Scott. She was great, but the noise level from other diners made her playing difficult to hear on occasion. Ten-Ten is trying to be a jazz house, but it might be more successful on weeknights when a less boisterous clientele would be there. We both had the ribs special which we enjoyed along with the suggested wine pairing. They offer a nice selection of better BC wines and their suggested pairings with each course were very nice. We'll go back again, just not on a Saturday night."

  • "Found out about this gem from Dineout Vancouver. What Vancouver has long needed is a small, intimate restaurant that played real live cool jazz music. Ten Ten fits the bill perfectly! The place is very charming, well decorated, the food was fantastic (ribs and panna cotta were exceptional) and the service was extremely nice and friendly. Nothing pretentious...just a few people that want to share good food and music in a great location facing the water. The music was fantastic....Gabriel Hasselbach and Adam Rohrlick played jazz and blues that night and were great. Great summertime location and we can't wait to go back, especially for the latin/steel band music on Friday. Keep up the great job...and looking forward to returning very soon!"

  • "Before going I had read reviews which indicated that they had had problems which the Manager said had been addressed and they now had a new chef. My Wife had Mussels followed by the salmon and then panna cotta, I had pea soup, baby ribs and white chocolate bread pudding. The soup could have been hotter with more seasoning, the ribs were juicy, tasty and was a generous portion served with mashed potatoes the pudding was to die for . My Wife's mussels were plump and tasty, the salmon flaky and moist and the panna cotta was creatively plated with a hint of mint and topped with chocolate. There was a great saxophonist playing in the background and the waiter was attentive but not intrusive, in conclusion a great find."

  • "Tiny but delightful. Looking forward to the patio. Derek, the Maitre D' was awesomely helpful arranging parking. We 2 enjoyed the $28 flat-rate dinner with $17 flat-rate pairings. Great presentation and flavours. Ribs portions were surprisingly ... huge! The wine pairings were well considered, and the Elephant Bay cherry port with dessert was superb. Really enjoyed Luis Geraldo playing and singing light jazz. Also loved the chandelier fashioned from inverted crystal stemware. Looking forward to returning to work our way through the menu."
