"The food at Tempo was outstanding, my family and I had five courses and everything was delicious. Enjoyed delicious huge fried ipswich clams, flavorful fresh lettuce wraps, and the beet salad. The paella however was dry and bland, but thankfully someone ordered the short ribs...TO DIE FOR!!!! fall apart in your mouth! The servings sizes are generous and the trip is well worth your money!

Also, the drinks were stiff and delicious. I ordered a skinny margarita and had to ask for more sour mix! The blood orange margarita was the best cocktail I have had in a long long time. I will definitely be going back again the next time im in the area!"

"The service was terrific. Excellent wait staff: very attentive without being overbearing. Noticed when water glasses were approaching half and were very stealth when filling. Beautiful food presentation; hefty portions. Delicious!"

"I used to live in waltham many years ago. My daughter recently moved to Waltham. What a refreshing change to find Moody street full of exiting new restaurants. Tempo is a fabulous restaurant. The selection is amazing and the food is outstanding. The wait staff is friendly and helpful without being too pushy. Our dining experience was superb and I would definitely go to Tempo again...top choice for sure!"

"My most recent trip to Tempo was to meet a friend on a Friday night. The front desk staff was less than friendly and made no attempt to help her find me when she arrived after me ("no, there's no one here with that reservation").
Anyway, once we got situated, the food was ok-to-good and the waitperson was efficient, if a little rushed. My biggest complaint with this place is the price - it's more than I would spend for a "lets eat out tonight" neighborhood casual thing but not really special enough for a "let's go out for a special occasion" meal. It's also too noisy to really feel like I am at a special place - hard to call it "special" when I have trouble hearing my own conversation..."
