"I live in the area and wanted to try something different than my regular spots, especially since I had some friends coming into town. So, we decided on Temple after looking for a place close to the movie theater and had food that was different than your typical chain restaurants that surround the mall. The restaurant was laid out smartly and had a great little bar that I actually intend to visit during the week as they have some great specials. Drinks were tasty and service was prompt but time was allowed between courses to digest. The food was unique and wonderfully prepared. I had lamb and my friends had a pumpkin/lentil dish and a burger. The appetizers were great as well - great cheese plate and other tables had tasty-looking apps too!"

"We went to Temple Downtown for my sister's birthday. The restaurant was quiet and I was surprised. The food was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make the dinner work for our family. They were quick to bring the appetizer to hold off the hunger pangs of my 10 year old nephew, and they did a fabulous substitution of vegetables for me on the swordfish. The swordfish was succulent and perfectly cooked. My father and siblings had various tagines, which we remember from living in Morocco. The flavors were excellent, the only complaint they had was they missed the sauce one usually gets with tagine.
I highly recommend the restaurant."

"The food was good but the service was slow. There were only 3 tables occupied but the service was slow. I had to remind the waiter 3 times that we had theatre tickets so the food would come out faster. The waiter did notified the valet parking that we needed our cars but we still had to wait for our cars, we were late for our show. The waiter was very nice and the food was good but the service was too slow for the amount of people in the restaurant."
