The intimate 60-seat café and wine bar features an eclectic menu of small plates, flatbreads, cheese, and charcuterie that complement the carefully curated selection of wine.

Tel’Veh hosts a bar featuring a rotating list of international wines available by the bottle and glass. The wine bar is equipped with a Vinotemp Wine Dispenser; a temperature and humidity-controlled wine system that preserves open bottles of wine with nitrogen gas. One of the only establishments in the region with such sophisticated wine preservation technology. The venue's wine list is organized by region with an emphasis on New World and Old World varietals. An extensive selection of 300 wines are available by the bottle and 50 wines available by the glass.Continued

  • "Seven of us went for Sunday brunch and ordered off the menu rather than the brunch package. We learned it is all or none for the brunch package since some guests have been known to cheat and share the bottomless brunch. I had the omelette and it was one of the best I have ever had. Lovely time, nice service, great place. I will be back."

  • "We. El enraged a friends birthday with the unlimited brunch and bottomless mimosas. The food was ok. Most of it could stand a little more seasoning. I have been to Tel'veh before and have always enjoyed the happy hour menu. I wasn't over the moon about the breakfast though. What made this experience really special, though, was the outstanding staff. Our waiter and the hosts were very attentive and lots of fun. They kept the mimosas flowing and anticipated the need for more food by putting in advanced orders before we could even ask. Overall it was a good experience. Worthy of a solid B-/C++."

  • "Discovered this Mediterranean place recently, although right along Mass Ave, the terrace is actually quite nicely cornered in by a broad wall of plants, shrubs and flowers. Chairs are comfy but outside tables are wobbly (legs were adjusted by staff) as terrace is not even. We had a very friendly and open waiter, who also appeared knowledgeable about food and wine. other server seemed much more reserved. Food came quite quickly and was very tasty. Seemed quite authentic. Servings of pide come in nice size - certainly not too big. Decent wine list. All in all, pleasant surprise."

  • "Tel'Veh is a great spot if you're looking for a fun and energetic wine bar to spend an evening in. Although the food was good, we found it (especially the apps) a bit overpriced ($15 for three small bowls of dips). Flights of wine are a good deal, but be aware that the restaurant is very loud."

  • "I've been here twice. First time we sat outside, second time inside. Inside there is a bar, 2 top tables, 4 top tables and these cute comfy high back armchairs with little occasional tables between perhaps for just wine and appetizers. The wait staff is really nice and seem knowledgeable about the wine they offer. The food was really good both times I ordered (kebob, ahi tuna). It's a great place to stop after work and easy to lose track of time (or was that my date). Suffice it to say that I'll definitely be returning. "

  • "Best spot in the neighborhood. Don't like to go anywhere else for brunch."

  • "Well I had heard good things about Tel'Veh....but I didnt think it was all that great. Felt like I was at a fancy greek diner versus a nice moderately price restaurant. Service was quite good. Give it a shot...get a small plate or two and see what you think. and site outside"

  • "The construction along Mass Ave. has taken away from some of the ambiance with regard to outdoor dining and scenic view. However, the construction did not detract from the indoor ambiance, quality of food or service. Extensive wine list and the menue offers many options. I would still recommend Tel'Veh to those seeking a quality place to dine."

  • "This restaurant was not fancy but was very tasty. I had a chicken shish-ka-bob and my husband had a lamb burger and they were both well seasoned and tasty. And we each had delicious appetizers, one was heated goat cheese and the other heated feta. We recommend either of those. Overall, this was a tasty and very satisfying dinner for a reasonable price. We would go back again."

  • "I love Tel'Veh! Great Turkish food. I try to go at least once a week for Brunch and occasionally for dinner after work. The food is delicious especially the Chesapeake Benedict and the octopus. All their food is fresh and the waiters are very friendly (hi Eva & Erkin). There's a little road construction going on in the area but the outdoor seating is still fabulous, good sun exposure. Oh, did I mention bottomless mimosas during brunch and that brunch lasts until 5pm on Sundays? I highly recommend Tel'veh."

  • "The bottomless brunch was superb because the dishes weren't boring old brunch. The Turkish influence really made it stand out. Great value. "

  • "I NEVER do online reviews, but one was due for this place!!! It was the best brunch meal I had every had!! The fruit salad was fresh, all the items on the brunch menu were delicious (my friends and I did the brunch special of unlimited brunch items and bottomless mimosas) but the highlight of our brunch was the "chocolate, chocolate, with chocolate waffles" they were soooo amazing we ordered them 3 times!!! Would highly recommend this place for brunch and I would go back in a heart beat!"

  • "Friday evening and didn't feel like cooking. So I looked on line to see what new restaurants seem interesting. Tel'Veh has great food and an excellent, if short, wine list. It is in a very hip part of DC with lots of young singles around. Up-side: it had a very energetic feel. Down-side it was difficult to talk. The groups in the bar looked like they were having a great time. Unfortunately the dinning area and bar have no separation at all. However will definitely go back. The food was great. Make sure you try the baba ganoush. Great out door dinning area. We are going to ask site there next time."

  • "We went here on a Friday night at happy hour. Pros: *Our server, Iva, was great and all of the staff was very pleasant. *The appetizers were amazing (especially the hummus)! Cons: *The dinner/entree menu is a bit small. We would have liked to have seen a grilled chicken option rather than just seafood and lamb. Not sure if they change their menu nightly, or maybe we didn't have the full menu. Summary: Definitely worth trying out if you are looking for wine and small plates. Although we didn't like the entree selection, we were excited about being forced out of our comfort zone and made to try something new. Go give it a try, you might like the entrees more than we did! We will go back for wine and appetizers!"

  • "The food was very good, especially the tapas. The flat breads were nothing special, so you can skip those. We came for happy hour and our server was not friendly, but otherwise it was a nice restaurant."

  • "I went to brunch on Sunday and had great service, good food and an overall decent deal. The food could've been warmer but it certainly wasn't lacking flavor or technique. Our waiter was wonderful. The accoustics are something to note -- it is crazy loud but overall a good experience."

  • "Love the endless small plates, and the option to change up bottomless drinks from bloody mary to mimosa to rail drink. Service is always fast and pleasant, and I've never had a dish there I didn't love. I always bring out of town guests here to show them what a true DC brunch is all about! Also great at accommodating gluten free diets."

  • "Tel 'veh doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. It started as mezze, small plates and awful flatbreads, but has now changed to an entrée focused restaurant, with some cheese and charcuterie options. Unfortunately, the food still ranges from acceptable to pretty awful. A dish described as oven roasted feta with chilis looks like it came out of a dominoes kitchen, topped with green peppers and tomato slices, and drowning in water. The charcuterie was sliced like someone was just learning to use a deli slicer; some bites were so thick you struggled to rip through. The wine list is still good, and i want to root for tel'veh, but I don't know how many more chances I can give them to get their act together."

  • "Good place with interesting food - if you want run-of-the-mill look elsewhere. Can be a bit noisy, but the ambiance is great, the staff friendly and well-trained. It was a bit drafty on a cold day, but that was a minor issue - it is a beautiful place with good food."

  • "Brunch, you might aswell call it breakfast and lunch because the brunch portions are HUGE!! 2 plates in, and I have to take a break..... but that's a good thing! I'd much rather be have too much food then not enough. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the variety of food they provide on the brunch menu aswell as the late brunch hour (5pm on Sundays ;-)) There are not too many places around that have brunch that late, and quite honestly they would have more business if they did. For all those reason and a few more, is why I really like coming here. Next time I will bring a larger group of people to experience everything that I have enjoyed about this restaurant."

  • "My friends and I went here for brunch in November and it was absolutely amazing. We did the bottomless brunch which is all you can eat and drink for $29.95. Definitely an amazing deal and we probably spent three hours here eating, drinking, and talking. In particular, I loved the Tel'veh Salad and the Crab Omelette - we probably ordered like six of those it was so good. The only bummer is that the ENTIRE table has to do the Bottomless Brunch together - so plan accordingly!"

  • "The food at Tel'Veh was quite good. We enjoyed an appetizer of the spread sampler, a flight of wines, the Plevrakia and Giartlou, all of which were served very quickly and well prepared. The ambiance was very nice, quite and romantic. The staff, while very nice, seemed a bit awkward, and was hard to hear and understand at times. Our table was also too small, and making enough room proved difficult. Otherwise, the experience was great!"

  • "This was my 2nd time at Tel'Veh. I'm from LA. My colleague lives in this part of DC and this is now his favorite place in the neighborhood. We had a table outside, which provided an excellent view of all the young, beautiful people who have moved into this part of the city. We each had a salad. Mine was arugula; his was the Tel'Veh mixed green salad. All very fresh with just enough salad dressing. We shared the spread sampler and the grilled calamari, which were light and tasty. We tried a bottle of rosé from Greece--crisp with a somewhat floral aroma. The service was great too. All nice, simple pleasures."
