The intimate 60-seat café and wine bar features an eclectic menu of small plates, flatbreads, cheese, and charcuterie that complement the carefully curated selection of wine.

Tel’Veh hosts a bar featuring a rotating list of international wines available by the bottle and glass. The wine bar is equipped with a Vinotemp Wine Dispenser; a temperature and humidity-controlled wine system that preserves open bottles of wine with nitrogen gas. One of the only establishments in the region with such sophisticated wine preservation technology. The venue's wine list is organized by region with an emphasis on New World and Old World varietals. An extensive selection of 300 wines are available by the bottle and 50 wines available by the glass.Continued

  • "Friday evening and didn't feel like cooking. So I looked on line to see what new restaurants seem interesting. Tel'Veh has great food and an excellent, if short, wine list. It is in a very hip part of DC with lots of young singles around. Up-side: it had a very energetic feel. Down-side it was difficult to talk. The groups in the bar looked like they were having a great time. Unfortunately the dinning area and bar have no separation at all. However will definitely go back. The food was great. Make sure you try the baba ganoush. Great out door dinning area. We are going to ask site there next time."

  • "We went here on a Friday night at happy hour. Pros: *Our server, Iva, was great and all of the staff was very pleasant. *The appetizers were amazing (especially the hummus)! Cons: *The dinner/entree menu is a bit small. We would have liked to have seen a grilled chicken option rather than just seafood and lamb. Not sure if they change their menu nightly, or maybe we didn't have the full menu. Summary: Definitely worth trying out if you are looking for wine and small plates. Although we didn't like the entree selection, we were excited about being forced out of our comfort zone and made to try something new. Go give it a try, you might like the entrees more than we did! We will go back for wine and appetizers!"

Service is always fast and pleasant, and I've never had a dish there I didn't love. I always bring out of town guests here to show them what a true DC brunch is all about!   • "Tel 'veh doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. It started as mezze, small plates and awful flatbreads, but has now changed to an entrée focused restaurant, with some cheese and charcuterie options. Unfortunately, the food still ranges from acceptable to pretty awful. A dish described as oven roasted feta with chilis looks like it came out of a dominoes kitchen, topped with green peppers and tomato slices, and drowning in water. The charcuterie was sliced like someone was just learning to use a deli slicer; some bites were so thick you struggled to rip through. The wine list is still good, and i want to root for tel'veh, but I don't know how many more chances I can give them to get their act together."

  • "My friends and I went here for brunch in November and it was absolutely amazing. We did the bottomless brunch which is all you can eat and drink for $29.95. Definitely an amazing deal and we probably spent three hours here eating, drinking, and talking. In particular, I loved the Tel'veh Salad and the Crab Omelette - we probably ordered like six of those it was so good. The only bummer is that the ENTIRE table has to do the Bottomless Brunch together - so plan accordingly!"

  • "Brunch, you might aswell call it breakfast and lunch because the brunch portions are HUGE!! 2 plates in, and I have to take a break..... but that's a good thing! I'd much rather be have too much food then not enough. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the variety of food they provide on the brunch menu aswell as the late brunch hour (5pm on Sundays ;-)) There are not too many places around that have brunch that late, and quite honestly they would have more business if they did. For all those reason and a few more, is why I really like coming here. Next time I will bring a larger group of people to experience everything that I have enjoyed about this restaurant."

  • "The food at Tel'Veh was quite good. We enjoyed an appetizer of the spread sampler, a flight of wines, the Plevrakia and Giartlou, all of which were served very quickly and well prepared. The ambiance was very nice, quite and romantic. The staff, while very nice, seemed a bit awkward, and was hard to hear and understand at times. Our table was also too small, and making enough room proved difficult. Otherwise, the experience was great!"
