We were looking for a last minute spot to go out to eat with family from out of town ( a group of 8!) and had a great time at Teela Taqueria. It was the perfect place for a group with many different preferences. The options were great, the drinks were fantastic and the amount of food was just right!

Overall, this place reminded me a lot of Verde which I love. I didn't eat a whole lot of the food just because we had the trio appetizer which was very filling. The salsa in the trio was extremely good. I had the seafood medley taco which was also very good. The service was extremely slow, though. Our waitress hardly looked at our table so we had to flag her down when we needed something. The place wasn't that packed, but drinks took forever. The strawberry mojito tasted syrupy like it had way too much grenadine, but the caprinhas were great. I loved that they had the $2 Tecate deal. We go to a different Mexican restaurant in Atlanta every Friday with friends and this deal is always appreciated by our budget conscience friends.

I thought it was a nice little getaway with very reasonably price food. I was with coworkers talking over lunch and I didn't order anything from the bar but the selection looked enticing.

Great tacos, attentive service; ordered in stages---no problem as food arrived quickly! Would suggest arriving @ 8 p.m. to avoid noisy peak time.

The food was good but the service was a little hit/miss...for example I placed my beer order at the same time as the chips/salsa and got the chips LOOOOONNNNGGGGG before the drink. But everyone was nice enough and the food was good.

I really want to give this place a better review, but the service was pretty bad. It took us 25 minutes to get our drinks when we sat down. It's not like we ordered mixed drinks that had to be made. We ordered canned beer. All the waitress had to do was go get the canned beer and bring it back to our table. Apparently it was too much to ask for that to be done in a timely manner. Everything else we ordered took a while. It's understandable that the food took a bit longer since we had a large table, but anytime we ordered a drink it took forever for us to get it. Hopefully if we go back the service will be better because the tacos were really good.
