"This student run restaurant offers a choice of 3-courses for $10 or 4-courses for $15. We each chose 4-course with my wife ordering an excellent butternut squash soup, a mundane Caesar salad, sautéed tilapia and a chocolate mousse. I achieved culinary bliss by ordering a Nicoise salad with ahi tuna, creamy shrimp risotto, melt in your mouth beef short ribs and a creamy salted caramel pot de crème. The quality/price ratio is very high."

"We've been to Technique three times in the last three months. The menu does not change much, but quality is at times inconsistent - dah, it's a cooking school. Students cook under the supervision of professional chefs and rotate in three week shifts between the kitchen and front of house for last 6 weeks of instruction, which is good training for them.

We've had very delicious dishes and a few that fell flat. A month ago the wait service was terrific; however, on a recent visit they had little training and interest in this task. If you are patient and open to inconsistencies in food quality and service, it's a great deal as the cost is $10 to $15 for three and four course meals. (We're conflicted to complain at those prices.)"

"Food was good and prices were excellent. The plates were beautifully presented, salmon was tasty, but the pork could have used a sauce of some kind since it was dry. Not sure why filet mignon was cut into 2 pieces this time (ordered medium this and last time, and was in 1 pc last time), which made it less juicy. Fruit crumble dessert was slightly overcooked as it was really dry, and we had to really dig to get it out of the dish. Pot de creme with cookies were tasty.

Although the servers made some minor service errors (forgetting to bring spoons for dessert and coffee, etc), the service was friendly and efficient overall."

"The quality, presentation and taste of the food has changed in the past year. There is no consistency in the foods they prepare and I have photos to prove this as I have taken shots of foods I've ordered. Same dish, different taste quality of ingredients and appearance. It has become more and more disappointing everytime I return and I might not want to come back again after my last visit."
