Special Events & Promotions: The private room offers a warm, quiet, and intimate ambiance. With a seating capacity of up to 64 persons, the private room offers an incredible aerial view of the kitchen and can accommodate a 75 person standing reception. It is fully equipped with a 106” HD projection screen, two HD plasmas, wireless internet, laptop portals, wireless microphone, and a DVD player. The dynamic semi-private room is named after Giuseppe Verdi's opera "Rigoletto," which premiered in Venice in the 1850’s. The Rigoletto offers a vibrant and lively area in front of the elevated kitchen. The space offers the opportunity to watch the chef’s creations and is perfect for entertaining 62 persons for dinner and 75 persons for a standing reception. Teatro Goldoni’s Special Events Director will work with you to create a beautiful and memorable event within your budget and specific to your individual needs.

"Amazing food and delightful service. We tried out the tasting menu, which was easily on par or better than other DC tasting menus, at almost half the price, no less. We got a last minute spot at the tasting table inside the kitchen, but we didn't really have a view of the cooking or chefs (not a big deal, just a little odd). We especially enjoyed the service, which was courteous without being overbearing, and executed with much less pretense than at the other fine dining establishments we've dined at in DC."

"The music, already underway at 6:30 on a Friday evening, was a very nice touch. The decor was wonderful. Staff was friendly and welcoming; however, once the wine was brought, the wine steward mostly disappeared. Our waiter was prompt in taking the order and the food was brought in a timely manner by other servers - our waiter never checked on us again until it was time for him to ask if we wanted dessert. In general, service was lacking in attentiveness except by food runners and bussers. The salads were tasty, but the large sizes of the greens made them very difficult to eat. The artichoke salad had a quarter of one piece of artichoke, which made artichoke the smallest part of the salad. The highlight was the small plates."

"I like Teatro Goldoni, and took friends there for diner on a Tuesday night. The restaurant seemed busy for a Tuesday night. The food was fine, but the service was poor. (Given its prices, the service should be excellent.) This is unusual for Teatro Goldoni in my experience, and it may have had an off night. Having said that, if I experience poor service again, I will be reluctant to go there."

"Pricey but vey good. I didn't mind dropping $35 on the lobster risotto - it was beyond delicious, even though it was a bit too al dente for my taste, the flavor was incredible, and there was lots of loster. But $17 for a plain old Caeser salad, really? The desserts were the stars of the evening, out of this world. We didn't order appetizers because quite frankly, none of them seemed very creative or original. Service was good, wine list was so-so. The music selection was odd enough to be distracting. Overall, we would sooner return to Bibiana or Tosca, which are better at that price point."

"It was my second time dining here and it was awesome ! The food was so good we almost licked the plates haha. A little hard to understand the waiter, he had a heavy accent. We will definitely go back. Plates are small but complimentary bread makes up for it."
