  • "The view is stunning. Service was excellent. Enjoyed the afternoon tea service (1pm-5pm only). I would go back."

  • "Had an amazing English Tea time with some old friends from high school. Completely wowed them with the view and the selection. The service was impeccable and the finger foods were tasty. The view and the service is what won me over though."

  • "The tea room was great! Beautiful atmosphere, great view and wonderful service. They also have a great selection of teas to choose from. The only negative thing I could say is the seats were terribly uncomfortable!"

  • "The view through the floor to ceiling windows were beautiful. The decor and ambience created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The little sandwiches were tasty as well as pretty. The little scones were warm and buttery. When smeared with the Devonshire cream and the raspberry or strawberry rhubarb jam, the flavors were amazing. The assortment of desserts were pretty as well as tasty, except for the rum cake that tasted nothing like rum and was rubber y in texture. The peach blooming tea was so tasty. The wait staff were attentive and friendly."

  • "Truly enjoyed, food was excellent and tea was great. Will plan on having tea at the Mandarin Oriental next time in Las Vegas."

  • "The staff was EXCELLENT! First Class service all the way!"

  • "Our waitress, Jingle, was incredible--very kind and attentive. I rated the ambience only "good," because the front desk is located directly behind the tea area. There was a screaming child at the front desk, and his parents allowed him to jump on and off the furniture while making loud noises. It was a nice culinary experience...the sugary, edible rose petal that topped the lemon dessert was delicious. The food was very good. My only wish is that there had been more tea sandwiches as opposed to the many desserts they gave us. It ended up being a lot of food and a very good value for the money."

  • "Lovely afternoon tea at the Mandarin Oriental. We went for the Champagne tea which was beautifully presented with stunning views. The atmosphere was quite sterile but overall was a lovely experience. Not sure I would recommend it as family/child friendly. Service was good."

  • "This restaurant was on the skypillar or sky something floor of the Mandarin Oriental. It had a wonderful view and the little seatings were cute too. The chairs were slightly uncomfortable. Food: everything leading up to the dessert dish was superb. The tea in the ginormous pot was really good ( but became rather cold towards the end). Deserts...I'm not sure how others felt about the dessert but my friend and I could not eat more than one nibble of anything. It was good we think? But it was so sweet that we downed all of the tea and our heads were left spinning from the excessive sugar. If you have a sweet tooth, this would be a dish for you. Overall: very nice place. Will come again to order everything but the desserts."

  • "The Tea Loynge is a wonderful place to go and relax. There's a gorgeous scenic view...the lounge is in the 23rd floor. Service is friendly and excellent, elegant but not pretentious. Enjoy a classic afternoon tea with scones, Devonshire cream, finger sandwiches and sweets."

  • "Spendy afternoon, but always worth it. If you enjoy the afternoon ritual of English tea, this is the place to go."

  • "This was recommende to me as the best high tea on the Strip... Very disappointing. Las Vegas offers a great number of luxurious experiences, but this was definitely not one of them - except for the cost, of course. The seats were particularly uncomfortable; the treats were not all fresh (some decidedly not freshly made; some hard as rock; some soggy and soaked through, etc.) Tea pot not kept warm; Tiered tray system very wobbly and crooked; I was so looking forward to a great tea lounge, but this is just a cheap set of bad seats next to the check in desk. Nothing there to redeem itself; nothing close to high tea. I only listed this as kid-friendly because no other recommendation applies."

  • "This is one of the most elegant tea services I've ever had! I asked for the recipe for scones, and made them at home. They are gracious and filled my tea even when I didn't ask. They are observant and attentive."

  • "I thought the tea was outstanding! the options of the different teas, and the tea sandwiches were delightful! I specially loved the egg cup! The only thing I would say it appears to be a lot of desert! I would rather have an extra tea sandwich. but overall, if I am in Vegas again I will certainly book a tea time and recommend it to friends."

  • "This ended up to be the perfect place! I had my aunt and cousin in town to visit and they were all very impressed with the Tea Lounge. The view is gorgeous and it is perfect for a group of women. The service was wonderful too. The menu had a wonderful selection and I am even more appreciative that they have a gluten free menu. We will certainly be back soon and recommend the Mandrin to others as well! This made my families trip a perfect Vegas experience! "

  • "Arriving on the 23rd floor lobby of the Mandarin Oriental, you feel like you are in the clouds. We were seated next to the window, overlooking the chaos of the strip. Our server Jennlynn was so pleasant and though initially confused by my request for a non alcoholic Berry Bellini, she took care of our every need. The tea sandwiches were delicious and we were particularly impressed with their take on the deviled egg, absolutely exquisite! The scones were a buttery, fluffy delight and paired with the cherry preserves, heavenly! The desserts were a little too rich for our taste, but we were so satisfied by that point it really didn't take away from our overall enjoyment. A wonderful experience!"

  • "The location is very nice , in the lobby of the Mandarin Oriental hotel overlooking the LV Strip. The service was excellent by very friendly and elegant servers. They were very informative on the types of Teas and the food selections. The scones were top rate, served warm. The sandwich items and dessert items were a little different. They had some unique flavor combinations which made them taste a little funny. They all looked very good and well made."

  • "I thought there would be more of the hotel to walk around and look at, so, though I made reservations, we showed up an hour early and the staff was very nice about letting us start early. The staff was very pleasant and helpful for the entire experience. I made a note on my reservation that my friend and I do not eat pork, and they accommodated us by substituting vegetarian options for the items with pork. The view of The Strip was beautiful. There was only one item on the Classic English Tea that neither my friend nor I cared for and that was the rum cake (for us, it was too much rum and an odd mouth feel). We both LOVED the scones and the jams. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and one I would love to have again some time. "

  • "The Tea Lounge is right off the Registration Desk which tends to be distracting. Gluten free and dairy free preferences have to be advised at the time of making the reservation, otherwise it is too late for the chef to accommodate. Best seating is by the window."

  • "Great savory dish, above average scones and average desserts. I like the organic lychee green tea. Great way to spend the afternoon off the strip. My server was really nice. "

  • "Beautiful setting for a below average tea. High tea is my thing and this one disappointed. More time spent on presentation than taste. The scones were little more than biscuits and the "cream" was a hard lump of white stuff. "

  • "The view was great, the location dead - which made for a great Sunday afternoon. My only comment would be that the food offering was weighted heavily toward sweets, and we vastly preferred the sandwiches. Also, we were one of 2 couples there at the time and service was very slow - which was fine as we weren't in a hurry, just an FYI. If you go with any kind of an appetite you'll want to plan to order another round of canapés at $10. View of strip was good, room was quiet at the time - but located right next to the lobby with no separation so could get noisy. In all, a good experience."

  • "Absolutely no complaints about the Tea Lounge. I reserved a table for 10 to celebrate my birthday w/my high school reunion group. A little pricey but the quality & service was worth every $$. Service, tea, food, hotel, & ambience - absolutely impeccable & gorgeous! Unless extremely well behaved, NOT kid-friendly because of formal presentation (fine china dishes & silverware, etc.) & the noise level kept to bare minimum. Staff surprised me w/complimentary birthday dessert & candle when I mentioned my birthday & asked to take plate of food to go. Best scones ever! Tea Lounge really was the highlight of my day & a phenomenal experience, & so I look forward to staying at the hotel to experience everything Mandarin Oriental Vegas has to offer. "

  • "Mandarin Oriental is a calming retreat, the atmosphere is resilient of an early morning silence. The offering of so many fine teas from around the world and delicacies are of such decadent taste. For the moment you're no longer amongst the hustle of the Las Vegas strip and you're taken away to a time and place of more tranquil moments."

  • "Great selections of teas, however, the food selection that come with tea service was lacking in substance. "

  • "Mandarin property and Tea Lounge were gorgeous, valet exceptional, lounge hostess not too welcoming, beautiful table- fantastic view, server uniforms very appropos, service was sincere but very slow, took forever to get food and tea, with no explanation from server, tea did not stay hot, food presentation and explanations of items lovely, food was mostly delicious, but scones were prefab, unimpressive and one dessert was rubbery and inedible (mini bundt rum cake) unfortunately there was an extremely loud annoying large bridal party present that was allowed to carry on unchecked, they were over imbibing and obnoxiously distracting. Birthday cupcake for my guest was marvelous and appreciated! Gratuity included in check.. awkward."

  • "My friend and I ended our quick Vegas vacation with tea at the Mandolin Oriental. From valet to the tea room, the customer service was amazing. We were seated right at the large window overlooking the strip. The tea and food were delicious; in fact, I've never tasted better scones. I will definitely be adding this to my Vegas must-do list."

  • "This could be really great. Now it is only moderatly enjoyable. The savories need some work, and you need a little bit more vareity, and just a little bit more in quantity. Come on, $36.00 add a few more savories. What they had was tasty. It's not like it wasn't enough, it is just when you travel all the way down to the middle of the strip, and believe me the traffic was a nightmare on a Friday afternoon, you want to have that ultra wow factor. You want to see a lavish, bountiful array of foofy girl food. The tables are a little too small to hold all the stuff you need for tea service and the waitress could have come by more often to remove stuff. She was a nice girl and the service was very good, but not outstanding."

  • "To be honest, I was not that impressed with the tea or food offerings. I've had better afternoon teas for less money. But it was a nice experience and you could not beat the view. The tea lounge is on the 25th floor, and the view itself was worth the amount paid. "

  • ":) it was awesome. only thing.. :( it was too small.. even my stomach. (I couldn't finished....) it was good bite size, and end of the tea time, you will be happy and full(but like good full not stuffed) I liked two of the desert so much I bought and brought here(Michigan) :) there tea was good. I was surprised they even have kids tea set. it was by myself, but I recommend to family(with little kids), friends, or couple :) so going back anytime I stay at Mandarin again!"
