The MO-LV is one of the nicer places that provide afternoon teas. The scones were the perfect size, not overly large nor too small. Bite sandwiches were quite tasty, we ordered more. Everything was nicely done.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday TreatThis was our second time at the Mandarin Oriental for afternoon tea - this time to celebrate my wife's sixtieth birthday. It was even better than the last time. We had the Champagne Afternoon Tea and the hostess asked if we were celebrating anything. We told her that it was my wife's birthday and towards the end of tea they presented her with a beautifully decorated cup cake.
