the presentation was beautifully done and everything was delicious. the deviled eggs were amazing and are the most unusual thing i have been served at tea. there was a hazelnut chocolate pastry in the dessert selections that was out of this world delicious. the scones were served warm and fluffy, we actually asked for more (warning, we were so stuffed that it took awhile to walk ourselves out) :)

It's a beautiful view with fantastic food and service. I have been twice and will return again. The only thing better would have been that the scones would have come out warm like the first time I visited this hotel.

It is very expensive for tea & the food in served very "high tea" style in small bites. The only problem is I did not like any of the menu items (too much mayo, 100% carbs and I typically avoid carbs, I just prefer organic clean eating. I indulge in desserts at times, but these really were not worth it. I enjoyed the tea service very much though, and would come again, but full next time. The service was attentive but the server did not understand her tea ingredients and got in a full on argument with me about them, to later learn I was correct and she was not. This was quite annoying. $100 for tea for two was ridiculous but it was a fun experience.

The only problem I have with this place is that it is adjacent to what looks like a check-in counter for hotel guests - it being a lounge, there are no walls separating the two, so you hear everything that goes on at that counter. Aside from that, however, this place is perfect. The tea was so delicate, the china was beautiful, the décor - gorgeous, the staff - very pleasant, the view - wide and beautiful. The food offered along with the afternoon English tea looks deceptively tiny, but once you start eating it, you'll soon find that it fills you up like a large meal would. A bit pricey, but worth every penny.

We had a wonderful afternoon at the Mandarin Oriental in their tea lounge. We ordered the Classic English Tea and it was wonderful. Beautifully made tea and delightful savoury and sweet items - perfectly presented and tasting wonderful. Our waitress was helpful and provided excellent service. We have already recommended the hotel to friends.

I am bided my mom and her sisters for tea at the Mandarin Oriental in Las Vegas to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. We were terribly disappointed. Unlike my experience at other Mandarin properties, staff was poorly trained, had insufficient knowledge of items in the menu they were clumsy and their service.

The tea room is small, so recommendations is a must. It was a fun, relaxing experience especially after several nights out in Vegas. We did the classic tea experience - the tea was really good. The food was good and presentation was nice- nothing fabulous or extraordinary. On the 23rd floor, so got a pretty good view of the strip. Service was impeccable.

The Tea lounge at the Mandarin Oriental is the place you want to go to get away from the frenzy of Las Vegas, if just for a little while. The different courses of the standard tea offering are painstakingly prepared, slightly whimsical, and delicious. There are a variety of teas offered, to suite every palate, and the warm flavors and aromas add to the serenity of the experience. This is a place we try to go whenever we are in Las Vegas.

I've been here several times now and it's a cool spot for high tea and a nice reprieve from the hustle bustle of the casinos. There is not a large selection of teas but the available choices are good. They forgot several of the important components of traditional high tea each time we visited and we had to ask for things like more hot water, jam for the scones, honey, sugar, milk for the tea, etc. I think the service for such a small room is consistently sub standard especially for a Mandarin property, but the view and overall experience is worth it.

I took my 80year old parents for afternoon tea to the Mandarin....and we all absolutely enjoyed our time there.....the service was truly outstanding particularly from a young girl called 'stephanie'..... Who I thought was absolutely wonderful... My only thing I would say is the positioning of the tea lounge.....whilst the lounge itself is lovely, you are very exposed to the hotels check in desk.....I feel it would be more special if it felt more private from the rest of the hotel.... Hope this is useful!

This was our second visit to the Tea Lounge. It was recommended by a Las Vegas local and she was right on for this experience. Prepare for a relaxing afternoon of fine cocktails and a tea experience that we would compare to the one at The Empress Hotel in Canada. Try it and find out for yourself. Reservations are recommended.

The view through the floor to ceiling windows were beautiful. The decor and ambience created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The little sandwiches were tasty as well as pretty. The little scones were warm and buttery. When smeared with the Devonshire cream and the raspberry or strawberry rhubarb jam, the flavors were amazing. The assortment of desserts were pretty as well as tasty, except for the rum cake that tasted nothing like rum and was rubber y in texture. The peach blooming tea was so tasty. The wait staff were attentive and friendly.

Our waitress, Jingle, was incredible--very kind and attentive. I rated the ambience only "good," because the front desk is located directly behind the tea area. There was a screaming child at the front desk, and his parents allowed him to jump on and off the furniture while making loud noises. It was a nice culinary experience...the sugary, edible rose petal that topped the lemon dessert was delicious. The food was very good. My only wish is that there had been more tea sandwiches as opposed to the many desserts they gave us. It ended up being a lot of food and a very good value for the money.

This restaurant was on the skypillar or sky something floor of the Mandarin Oriental. It had a wonderful view and the little seatings were cute too. The chairs were slightly uncomfortable. Food: everything leading up to the dessert dish was superb. The tea in the ginormous pot was really good ( but became rather cold towards the end). Deserts...I'm not sure how others felt about the dessert but my friend and I could not eat more than one nibble of anything. It was good we think? But it was so sweet that we downed all of the tea and our heads were left spinning from the excessive sugar. If you have a sweet tooth, this would be a dish for you. Overall: very nice place. Will come again to order everything but the desserts.

This was recommende to me as the best high tea on the Strip... Very disappointing. Las Vegas offers a great number of luxurious experiences, but this was definitely not one of them - except for the cost, of course. The seats were particularly uncomfortable; the treats were not all fresh (some decidedly not freshly made; some hard as rock; some soggy and soaked through, etc.) Tea pot not kept warm; Tiered tray system very wobbly and crooked; I was so looking forward to a great tea lounge, but this is just a cheap set of bad seats next to the check in desk. Nothing there to redeem itself; nothing close to high tea. I only listed this as kid-friendly because no other recommendation applies.
