  • "The Tea Lounge is a great place to relax and have a light late afternoon nosh. The view from on high is fantastic, and the ambiance is calming. Lately, we have been making it a habit to spend one afternoon, on our trips to Vegas, at the Mandarin Oriental Tea Lounge. It is a good temporary respite from the flash of the Vegas casinos."

  • "I have been to tea here twice and each time it has been a great experience! The food was different so they keep their menu fresh. No worries about the same old same old here... Great view, friendly, accommodating staff, relaxing atmosphere. Even my manly fiance enjoyed it! :o)"

  • ":) it was awesome. only thing.. :( it was too small.. even my stomach. (I couldn't finished....) it was good bite size, and end of the tea time, you will be happy and full(but like good full not stuffed) I liked two of the desert so much I bought and brought here(Michigan) :) there tea was good. I was surprised they even have kids tea set. it was by myself, but I recommend to family(with little kids), friends, or couple :) so going back anytime I stay at Mandarin again!"

  • "The Tea Lounge was amazing. Between the delicious and perfectly steeped tea and the perfectly sized food it was an all around 10/10."

  • "If you want to escape from the Strip, this is your spot. It begins with the valet parking, a quick elevator ride high above the Strip and you've escaped Las Vegas for a short amount of time. The views are amazing, the service is excellent and you're ready to return to after a quiet and relaxing afternoon tea experience!"

  • "My mom, sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea at the Mandarin tea lounge, the staff was both friendly and accommodating. This was a nice quiet establishment to enjoy a relaxing tea and gorgeous view of the Las Vegas strip. We would definitely dine here again."

  • "Went here over Valentine's Day weekend but we ordered the standard Afternoon Tea rather than the special Valentine's Day tea. Was not disappointed, amazing view, the tea pastries were out of this world, and the teas we picked were perfect. We had such a fantastic time at the Mandarin Las Vegas we're going to do Afternoon Tea at the Mandarin Miami."

  • "I have always loved tea time / high tea... And the Mandarin Oriental does it with a lot of style!!!"

  • "Tea time at the Mandarin Oriental was a welcome breath of calm and relaxation in the hustle and glittery lights of Las Vegas. The service is impeccable. And the food is beautifully presented and tasty. There aren't very many seats so a reservation is a must on weekends. Try and get a seat by the window."

  • "A very nice and quiet afternoon get-a-way from all the excesses of LAS! Spend some quality time by yourself or with a special person (or friends) while enjoying tea and small well prepared treats. If you come later in the day, you'll experience a sunset reflected on the windows of the neighboring buildings!"

  • "So, high tea at MO has been on my bucket list for quite a while. I decided my 36th birthday would be the perfect occasion. We arrived a little early and my husband was seated on a couch where another couple was already sitting. They "squeezed" over to make room for my husband. I was seated directly across from my husband, but so far across from him that I would have had to almost yell in order for him to hear me. Not at all ideal and totally disappointing. I started thinking that I was going to have to communicate with my husband via text message. We eventually asked to me moved, and from that point on everything was fine. The tea was excellent and so were the pastries and hors d'oeuvres."

  • "We came for afternoon tea and to enjoy the view after CES. The scones were freshly made and delicate. The best part was the tea sandwiches. We had really enjoyed the plate of sandwiches the previous time we came for tea, and were concerned because the items on the menu were different this time around. They did not disappoint."

  • "We had tea on 1/9 at 2pm. If you truly enjoy high tea you will love the Mandarin Oriental. The tea was lovely. The scones, tea sandwiches and dessert were delicious. The price was in line with the overall food and service. The view of the strip and the very comfortable atmosphere was just what we needed after the hustle on the strip. Our service was wonderful and I truly appreciated our servers smile and great attitude she was precious."

  • "The view is beautiful and on sunset is perfect. Service is great, although pricy it's worth for the break from the noisy Vegas."

  • "The tea room is such a nice "get away" from the typical Las Vegas venues. It has the ambiance for casual conversation and relaxed enjoyment. A great time to go is late afternoon to see the Strip in the day light and then watch as the sun sets and the glitz lights up the Strip. Fabulous view!"

  • "Everything was relaxing. We enjoyed the ambience. Sandwiches, tea and scones were delish. Cookies/sweet things were ok--a tad too sweet. Would have liked more sandwiches, less sweets perhaps for a better balance. Deviled egg was a hit!"

  • "Being British I've had my fair share of afternoon teas, and this was among the best I've ever had. Stylish presentation updated an otherwise archaic affair. The service was impeccable, it made the experience. As did the view! perhaps the best in Vegas, at least for a quiet afternoon while you wait for the night to start. The tea selection was varied and large, what I had was properly brewed. Delicious sandwiches. The scones and jam (or jelly to everyone else) were as good as the ones I had at the Ritz in London. Excellent value - a nice nibble of the high life! Tip: one tea and an extra plate is just about enough for two."

  • "What makes this High Tea amazing is truly the view. The Tea Lounge is a popular place, and reservations are strongly recommended. Price is in line with other Las Vegas Strip resorts offering tea. Food was good, and server had a nice personality, but prepare yourself to be here two hours (unnecessarily)."

  • "Tea Lounge is pretty much the same thing as a lobby bar except with an air of elegance as people are drinking tea and not as rowdy. The view is exceptional, except the Cosmopolitan building blocks the left side of the Strip. I only ordered the tea so the food is outside my realm of experience. My girlfriend ordered a blooming tea which is refillable while the loose leaf tea is only a teapot's worth (the teapot's are huge though). The service was excellent once seated...before being seated you're not really their responsibility so it's easy to be overlooked and everyone is there for the view, so seating is limited...I even put a reservation in, but still got dumped at the table furthest away from the view."

  • "The restaurant was very accommodating by serving us a "vegan" selection of items for the afternoon tea. We do think the cost was excess given what we received and what the other diners were provided in their "non vegan" selection. We would not entertain coming back."

  • "Wonderful afternoon tea experience. The tea was almost the star. Food was great; portions are small but fills you up. Service is great of course. Sitting by window is fantastic but view can be seen by other tables also. Definitely a lounge in that this is a small area with couches. Would go back in a heart beat."

  • "terrific experience and of course you pay for the fact that it is a quality place and the tea and pastries are excellent. I wish there were more options for seats by the window-but overall it was nice. kinda akward to be seated on a couch next to a complete stranger and not good for private chat. once the other people left, my husband sat next to me and that made the experience better. will definitely enjoy again."

  • "This was a very special afternoon tea experience. Food was as delicious as it was visually attractive. I specifically enjoyed the addition of a Christmas theme in the dessert portion of the tea. The tea was prepared with expertise and extremely flavourful. The staff were welcoming and extremely professional. With the location being on the 23rd floor of the Mandarin, the view was awe inspiring. Can't wait to go back for another visit."

  • "Tea Lounge did not have our special request or notes from Open Table reservation, however they recovered well by accommodating our needs when asked. Would have liked to have Lemon curd available for a "Classic tea". Tea was served in large pots which cooled down and we had to ask for new pots. Smaller pots or some type of warmer would be better. Real sugar cubes would have been a better presentation than sugar packets for this type of tea. The holiday desserts were the highlight of the food! Super cute and creative! Service started off very slow...took quite a while to get our tea and the food took even longer. Especially considering that everything was made in advance. Overall a nice experience, just needs a little fine tuning."

  • "Get the enjoyment of taking in Vegas without the stress of seething crowds. Relax above the fray. The full yes is wonderful, but just going for tea and maybe some champagne is also exceptional. The service was so much better than most places--no bad jokes, snootiness, or poor performance hear. Tasteful and reserved but responsive service makes this an staple of my Vegas trips before I brave the crowds."

  • "Afternoon Tea at the Tea Lounge was amazing! The service was fantastic. We did the Nutcracker tea service and ordered the Daywalker cocktails. Everything was delicious. The view is a great one looking towards Paris. While they were adjusting the blinds thre was a lot of glare from the glass building across. But it was still an excellent time having proper tea."

  • "The service was fine, the food tasty and proper for an afternoon tea service, but, having had tea in London, Victoria and other places in the US, this is not the best. If you have never been to a tea service and are visiting Vegas, this is a fine start to learn about a traditional tea service. The tea selection is very good and the teas taste good. The sandwiches and pastries are appropriate for tea, but not the best. Most distressing is that most other tea services will bring seconds or thirds for the price, but not so here. The price was appropriate for a tea service, but without seconds seemed expensive. Also, with a party of 4, the gratuity was already included, which seemed inappropriate in the US.."

  • "The Tea Lounge was a great afternoon break from the hectic Strip. It was very quiet, even though it's located in an open space right next to the hotel check-in desk. The staff was very friendly and poised. The food and tea were delicious! The scones were by far the best part - warm and buttery. We sat right next to the window, which on a clear day, offered a gorgeous view of the North Strip. Next to our table was a birthday party with three little girls. This place is definitely recommended for all ages!"
