Some of the specials we have not liked.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Taverna is close to theThe Taverna is close to the Cobb Energy Ctr., so we decided to try it for a pre-show dinner. The food was very good, and the restaurant is cute. We each had the veal Osso Buco. The risotto that came with the veal was divine, as was the sauce. The veal was mostly fall-off-the-bone tender, but there were a couple of tough bites. We still enjoyed it very much, and the servings were huge - plenty to take home. I had the grilled squid with dressed greens for an appetizer, and while it was very good, there wasn't much squid on the plate. Our server was new-ish and seemed a little out to lunch. She got our order wrong, but she fixed it quickly.
