Tavern N' Town- Marriott Key WestEarly Bird SpecialThe Early Bird Special is the best deal going. All entrees are 19.95 and some are regularly 38 and 36. I had the rack of lamb and braised shoulder which was excellent. You just have to be seated before 6:30. We had reservations for 6:00 and had drinks ahead of time so you don't have to really be an "Early Bird". And to make it even better, their happy hour is from 5 to 7. Virtually all drinks and beer and wine by the glass is two for one. And you don't even have to drink the second one by 7, just have ordered the first before seven. And this restaurant was good! I stay at a lot of Marriott's and was happy to find here. The seafood was very tasty. The drinks were strong. And the atmosphere was nice and service excellent. They also have Happy Hour at this time. This is the only restaurant in Key West I know of offering these kinds of discounts. Instead of just my husband and I going out, we can now take the family. The food is fabulous, the service superb. Just go.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMisunderstandingWhen I made a reservation for Mother's Day the only available time they had was 10:00 AM. When we arrived at 10:00 they seated us for breakfast. We said no, we reserved brunch. They then made arrangements for us to return at 11:00 AM when brunch began.
My fussy husband said it was the best roast beef he has had in a long time I prefered the lamb chops, the only thing missing was the mint sauce. All the ladies got a nice rose and unlimited champagne. Nothing to do with the restaurant as much as an unfortunate placement. Everything else, including their new 'order-before-6:30pm-during-the-month-of-April' for a big discount on all entrees was exceptional.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMTavern opened up their 'other'Tavern opened up their 'other' dining room, which was FAR away from the music (which is fine, but too noisy if you're trying to have conversations with fellow diners), so we ate there. They were ALSO having a special $19.95 for ALL entree's through the month of April if ordered before 6:30pm, so, as we were headed to the Tennessee Williams Theater for a 7:30pm curtain, it worked perfectly and we were able to take advantage of the discount.
