On a Saturday, all of the "top" restaurants out south aren't open. We had reservations for 7 indoors, but the weather was great. We were taken to our table and sat, but the manager had no problem at all setting up a large table outside. Our waitress was great as was the food. I want a huge platter of Italian sausage sliders for any sporting event I ever watch again. Each diner's meals were great from kids to grandparents. I had smoked salmon benedict - light on hollandaise with chopped tomatoes and capers - a delicious take. When I asked for an alternative to potatoes they served mixed greens and lemon vinagrette which I appreciated. My fellow diners had a salad with salmon and were very happy. The service was stellar, both our server and those on their way by noticed if we needed something and got it without being intrusive. The atmosphere is cozy and not dark for lunch. Pricing is good for the quality and entree portions are just right. I had the special which was halibut and it was excellent. Also, the side salad was very good with blueberries, cranberries, walnuts. Service was good, waiter was pleasant without being over friendly. They have all been blown away by the
food, and most always the service. The last 2 visits were with friends I don't see frequently and I was so proud to have
chosen a restaurant that impressed them immensely. My husband is jealous that I keep talking about it but he hasn't
gotten around to going.
