"The sample platter appetizer and featured maki were very good but the standard sushi off the menu was nothing worth writing home about. Based on the prices of the sushi rolls I would have expected much more. The services was pretty bad as well. There were only 2 other tables in the restaurant both of which were done eating and our order of 2 sushi rolls took roughly 15 minutes. I would go back to this restaurant only for the appetizer and nothing more. I would not recommend it for a sushi dinner! Chicago is full of great sushi restaurants and this is not one of them."

"I've been to Tatsu a few times before, but forgot how delicious it was. And I couldn't believe how empty it was for a Friday night (thank goodness, because we were starving!). Between the 4 of us we shared 5 rolls, soft shell crab and edamame and everything was delicious. I would strongly recommend going to Tatsu. It may be my new go-to sushi restaurant"
