We arrived 45 minutes before our reservation to have a drink at the bar, but they quickly informed us they could seat us when ready. Dylan was our waiter; he was friendly, attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended the meatballs appetizer (the best he had ever had, and I have to agree!) and the Branzino (too much cartilage and undercooked potatoes) and kept our wine and water glasses filled. Fantastic service! We also tried the Tuna Crudo (not the best, The Chelsea in Fairfield still reigns King) the market salad (fantastic, huge portion) and the highlight of the night, the truffle and fried egg pizza, which was even better than in my dreams... a MUST TRY! Every time it was excellent in every way. The menu is very interesting and the prices are reasonable. We shared many of the generous sized dishes so we got to taste a variety of food. Lamb chops, margherita pizza looked good (I didn't try). My husband had the eggplant alla parmigiana which was delicious but a little small on the portion side. I indulged in the garganelli with fungi trifolati which was so delicious and yummy...I want more! Tiramisu got high marks. Flour less chocolate cake was loved by all but one person. Ricotta cheesecake made with their own homemade ricotta is heaven. I don't have the correct name for this dessert but it was a butterscotch pudding with thin meringue layer...that was the best!! As a group of four, we had four different appetizers, entrees and desserts and everything was exceptional. It is pricey but definitely worth it. Everyone always leaves happy. The staff is great and a wonderful menu.
Some of my personal favorites are the Bean salad, with Burrata Pizza.
