Tarragon at The Inn at Honey RunLovely wooded setting...The restaurant now named Tarragon has a beautiful wooded view and wonderful food as it did before; however, the atmosphere has changed along with the decor and is now very bland. As with many upscale restaurants now, the tables are very sparce--ie, there are no longer candles on the tables or flowers. Nothing really except for the place settings. The restaurant used to have a cozy feel, but it is now very contemporary and blah in nature. It all was delicious but the special touch was the sweet potato strips. I could have eaten more of those. The chef's spin on potato salad and slaw made the meal very special. The ambience is always a reason we travel from North Canton to this restaurant just for lunch. From the seafood trio appetizer which was tasty, each component a surprise to our entrees. The filet was mouth watering. The duck was juicy. My husband had the duck and love it but wasn't thrilled with the stuffed pablano pepper. Our wine was a petite shiraz that had great body and finish.

The In at Honey Run was a lovely setting for a totally relaxed, pleasant meal with good friends. It was particularly relaxing to enjoy hot pots of tea when we arrived and chatted before our tasty meal. Our server was very friendly and helpful; we never felt rushed. I neglected to make brunch reservations so the day before mothers day I called around and all of my wifes favorite restaurants were booked. I went to bed leaving an angry wife. While I was sleeping she went on Open Table and found the Tarragon Inn. We live in the Cleveland area so it is about an hour and a half away from us. She told me about the reservation the next morning but I couldn't complain about the distance since I was the one who blew the reservation. Now to the food. It was delicious. They had a buffet that had three sections, salads, main course and desserts. Even though our bill was not inexpensive, the management comped the whole thing since the TV in our room at the Inn did not work. We had a filet and a hanger steak for dinner and both were cooked to perfection.
