It's a bit off the main path, but worth the drive. Very pretty place with little frog ponds as you enter. Dining area is so clean, even the window was free of dust on the sills. Paint looks as if it was just done, everything is very neat & tastefully decorated with a modern rustic feel. Tables look out large windows of the woods. The food was great. Staff was friendly, felt welcome. Had lunch on a Sunday, clam chowder was delicious & the cheeseburgers are good sized. Charged for substitutions with out being notified by the server, asked for a small side sald instead of cole slaw & pickles-charged for a salad, which would have been nice to know as we didn't actually need a salad we just didn't want cole slaw.

The food was succulent. My husband's steak was wonderful and the Scallops were the best I've ever eaten! The sides were done so special. We've never seen them presented and prepared that way. We had the twice baked potatoes. I wish we could have tried the dessert but we didn't save any room.

The promised crudites (on the menu and always present in the past) never appeared. One lunch was great, the other (scallops) were excessively salted (actually, pan seared scallops are generally not salted at all) as was the grilled asparagus which was also crispy (burned). We've dined here dozens of times but it has been a bit off this summer; on our previous visit they searched for the wine chiller but never found it (we didn't request one but white wine served outdoors typically requires one). You can't beat this place for ambiance.

Amazing. That was our experience. The food was so good from the complimentary amuse beush to our delicious desserts! I recommend the perogies which contain goat cheese! I had the duck and my husband had the special - ribeye. Both our plates we're clean when they were cleared! Loved every part of it! Thank you, chef!

We ate at The Tarragon while we were staying the night at The Inn at Honey Run. It is a beautiful place with great views. It is a nice and quiet place so you can have a conversation with each other while enjoying dinner. The food was very good. It is a bit pricey but it was worth it to splurge sense we don't often take little get a ways like this. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

We stayed at the Inn over the weekend. This was our second dinner of our trip. Since they are about the only game in town we went the second time in a row. The food was just as exceptional as the first time. They do not have a Sunday permit so we did not get to look at the offering till this time. The wine list was well rounded and had several price points. We would return to the Inn as well as the Tarragon.

We went to the Inn at Honey Run for the weekend. We booked the Tarragon for dinner. I had the chicken and my wife had the pork chop. Both were tender and moist. We had a beautiful view overlooking the rain soaked forest. They can't control the weather. It is about the only fine dinning that you will find in this part of Ohio. It's worth the trip.

Delectable food, delicious drinks. The vegetable risotto and the Sunset beverage were to DIE FOR. The bread, salad, and amuse bouche were all delightful touches. The service was receptive and attentive. The music was a little loud and the prices a little high in my opinion, but the scenery and specialty of the location more than made up for it, and the ingredients were all high quality. I would recommend this for anyone looking to add to their Amish Country experience with a foodie forest find!

Tarragon is a gem off the beaten path. The setting is absolutely beautiful and relaxing, and reminds me of dining in North Carolina. The restaurant is surrounded by very mature trees. The restaurant was well designed and very comfortable. The food was excellent. From the salad to the entrée and dessert, we were not disappointed. The salmon, chicken, and scallops that were ordered as entrees were quite good. The house salad had a very unique dressing. The hostess was very kind and talkative. We had questions about the restaurant which she happily answered. Our waitress was efficient and skilled. I would recommend Tarragon to everyone who visits Amish Country and wants to have a real dining experience, rather than the crowds at a buffet.

Was disappointed with the lack of atmosphere for such a high end menu. Sat us at a table that all the attendants (servers) had to go past to get to the kitchen, even though it was my birthday celebration dinner. Just didn't meet my expectations from the website and menu.

I was with a friend this time- had previously dined with my husband and the food was outstanding. THis time, however, it was just O.K. I had scallops that were not very good, perhaps because it was Thursday and they did not come in that day. Regardless, they did not taste fresh and my friend said her pork chop was not very tender. It has been my usual experience that most restaurants have better food and service when they are on the busy side, though our service was excellent. It was a bit disappointing as I had raved about it to my friend. It was good enough, however, that she says she will be telling people to consider it when traveling to Amish country.

The food was wonderful. The combination of flavors in the dinner entrees were sensational. The Continental Breakfast was above the normal idea of a "continental breakfast". The service was also impeccable. The pace is on the slower side (I mean this in a positive way.) You have the opportunity to savor the food instead of rushing through it because the next course is arriving before you have finished the former. Can't say enough good about the experience.

Fine dining in Millersburg? Yes, and a great view as a bonus. We've been visiting this place for twenty years and it continues to get better each year. Those looking for heaping servings and low prices would do well elsewhere but if good food well prepared coupled with an outstanding view are your things, then this is the place.

I got a chicken dish and my husband got steak. The chicken was very good, not exceptional and my husband said the steak was average. We were dining with another couple and twice our friend had to send her drink back because there was a black fleck of something (looked like a pepper seed) in her glass. The waitress was very good and apologized profusely. I just thought that for $25-$35/entree and sides extra, the food was very average.

My boyfriend and I stayed in a HoneyComb room at the Inn at Honey Run for our 1 year anniversary. We dined at Tarragon for both dinner and breakfast. As part of the room a complimentary appetizer and glass of wine was available in the restaurant ....the appetizer was a couple of pretzel rods in a beer glass, a cup of potato chips (that appeared to be lays) and 2 small slices of quesadilla. For an upscale restaurant this was embarrassing. For dinner we both got steak, shared au gratin potatoes and each had 1 alcoholic beverage. The meals came with salad and bread. For $140 this should have been an excellent meal that I would be telling everyone about.....but it was ok at best. The steak was so so and the potatoes were not fully cooked.

My wife and I have not been able to get away for many years. We finally decided for Honey Run. Our experience was so wonderful we booked another stay. The cleanliness of our honey comb suite was spotless. The decor was updated there was no smells to the rooms. The staff throughout the grounds was kind and professional. Also it was a pleasure there no children running around,. Just quite, relaxing peaceful enjoyment. The restaurant I would rate as 4-5 star. Great food and wonderful attentive staff. Our overall experience was everything we had hoped it would be, pure happiness and enjoyment. We cant wait till we go back in the fall.

Though we hadn't been at this establishment for a few years (and it had changed names and been completely remodeled since our last visit), the overall dining experience did not in any way disappoint. The quality of the food, service and ambiance were exquisite - which really was no different from the previous restaurant which was housed there. The only suggestion we would have is to change the music selection. While the breakfasts we enjoyed there had soothing instrumental music piped in, this Sun. evening dinner included oldies "rock" selections. Though we like oldies, we would have preferred the instrumentals. (Not a deal breaker, by any stretch!)

we brought friends to dine with us, the last time we were there was probably a year or so ago. missed the more open and bright dining area. also, the prices have elevated significantly while the food quality is good but not the quality we have had at other re3staurants when we pay 130 for a meal, and our friends paid 160. not sure will bring other to the restaurant.
