All the food was outstanding. From the thinnest carpaccio I have ever seen, the Farm House salad & on through the homemade ribbon pasta, which the wife loved & including maybe the best scallops I have ever enjoyed.
The service was outstanding; when they didn't have enough of the gin which was called for they went next door to liquor store to get it. Above & beyond!

When we first arrived did not think much of the location.
In a small plaza ,did not seem like much but did we ever get surprised as we got inside.
A small room with a huge bar to welcome you in front of the kitchen.
A very busy place, not for a romantic dinner.
But great food, if you go later on then it is even busier.

Due to that our server became absent-minded and missing for longer periods of time. A setback in an otherwise stellar meal. Food was absolutely perfect. The crispy black chickpeas while I little greasy are to die for. The Tuna Tartare with horseradish vinegrette is just lovely, fresh and flavorful. As far as main courses go, the Ribbon pasta w/fennel sausage was unique and excellent, the same as the more ususal pasta w/bologneses sauce. Both fantastic. The table favorite though was Tar's Scotch Beef w/buttermilk mash. For dessert we had the sorbet trio, tart, delicious and light. We can't wait to come back! A++1/24/2013 12:00:00 AM
