I find the staff is extremely focused here and the management is on point letting the staff know their roles...and by the way they control the room it definitely shows every associate is on their game. Great food and desserts !
The room was quite packed and loud and the servers were able to completely be attentive to the table making the room 'expand' and make your table the star of the show...great kudos to them for that ! I had the scallops and he had a filet. I eat there several times a year for birthdays and anniveraries. We were late with our reservation but called and they still seated us upon arrival. I have never had a complaint at this restaurant. However unless you pay to valet, the parking is awful. But unfortunately, feel like it is seafood only like it's name - Taps Fish House. We ordered manilla clams, blue crab dynamite, speck ham to start. Lobster tail is excellent, cooked just right! However, we are quite disappointed with the 16 oz rib eye. The texture of the meat is definitely not USDA prime, but feels like not even USDA choice! We were greeted by a pleasant employee and seated early. Nice table at a nice place. Unfortunately, kitchen had run out of the Drunken Mahi Mahi, the Chilean Seabass, The Salmon dinner dish, and the Prime Rib. Lesson learned, go earlier or go somewhere else.
The service was excellent, as usual. The food we did end up ordering was tasty and we enjoyed our evening. Our server was very nice. We overheard the server at the table next to us tell them about the soufflé, and since we were celebrating my husband's birthday, we were going to order one. Our server never told us about it and we forgot about it until it was too late. We mentioned it to the server. As we were paying our bill, our server noticed the birthday card on the table and rushed off and brought my husband a birthday creme brûlée to make up for it. It was very nice.
