Entertainment: Flamenco Dinner Shows every Friday and Saturday at 8PM. Open menu with show charge. Salsa dance lessons every Friday and Saturday at aprox 9PM, with fee. Parties over 15p require set menu. Bachata lessons every Sunday at 9PM, with fee. Salsa DJ Dancing on Friday, fee for entrance. Salsa Bands on Saturday, fee for entrance. Bachata DJ dancing on Sundays. Tango lessons with Dance Milonga every Wednesday. Fee for lessons and entrance.

Bienvenidos! Welcome to Tapas Flavors of Spain. Tapas opened in Newport Beach in 1992 and offers you authentic Spanish Cuisine and our famous Flamenco shows. With a great history of entertainment, we offer Flamenco shows every Friday and Saturday and Tango on Wednesdays. For late night dining, try… some of our traditional Spanish Paella, Baked Empanada's, Churro's con Chocolate or patio Taco Bar. You can come and have some of our famous homemade Sangria or Mojitos while you dance to Salsa DJ's and Bands in our nightclub, Fri - Sun. We are located near the Orange County Airport.Continued

"The food was overpriced even though I shared it with someone else. The Sangria was light. A pitcher cost us about $30 and we had about 3-4 cups each.
The best part was the Flamenco show. It was beautiful and passionate, everything I love about Flamenco. If you tell them you have a special occasion (like a birthday or engagement) then they'll pull you up to dance at the end of the performance.
The salsa dancing was a lot of fun. I could have been at a beach club in Miami. It was very exciting taking the basic salsa class (which normally costs $5 per person), but we got a free 15 minute version this time. After the salsa lessons are over all of the pros get out onto the floor and the noise level can get pretty high. Super fun club/restauran"

"I travel about 35 miles to go to this restaurant and I was very disappointed with the service. We were sitting on a table for about 30 minutes and we did not have a waiter came up to us. I had to call the boss boy and ask how long it took before someone will came to take our order. The boss boy was more helpful than the waitress was. The management needs to train their waiters and waitresses to be alert when the customer comes in to at least came by the table and ask if they want a drink. I will never go back to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone."

"Website live entertainment information was not updated. We went for the tango and tapas and did not get the lesson from 7:30-8:30 and furthermore were charged a service charge that was supposed to be included with the tango special. Disappointed"

"I wanted to enjoy the Flamenco show, but they seated us right next to a 40th Birthday Party that was trying to out yell the music and dancing of the show. Very disconcerting and unwelcome. Be sure to ask about special parties before you make a reservation."

"We attended the resturant as a special occasion for our parents anniversary. We were drawn to the restarant because of the flamenco music and dancers in Duende. The overall experience was very good and everyone had a good time. The highlight of the evening was Duende, they were tremendous! As a fan of flamenco guitar, I think the music was excellently performed and the dancing and singing only heighten the experinece, very well done! Our server was very personable and was quick to offer suggestions as to what the dishes were and what his opinion of them was.He also provided us with great service throughout the evening.The dinner was enjoyable, but not a great culinary experince, the tapas were better than the actual dinner entres."

"it was a mistake going there on the valentine night. the restaurant manager and his staff started to move the tables and the chairs out while people still eating and talking. once the customers left, pulling tables and chairs with the noise started. as if they were trying to let people finish eating and disappear out of the place so they could set up their house night club. overall, it was a weird deal. we ended up paying $84 for 2 meals. including tax was $72, have no idea where the extra $12 came from. compared to cafe Sevilla in long beach or Tinto on santa monica, this place is a joke and should have been out of business already."
