  • "3rd time there -- and rude every time im done -- too many other good places to go"

  • "This is one of our favorite placed to eat on Main Street. Pretty much everything is great, and the ambiance is always wonderful. Sangria is fabulous on a hot summer evening. Wine list is extensive, and they always have seasonal cocktails. The entrees are fabulous, but there is always something for everyone on the tapas menu. Outside seating is plentiful."

  • "I have been to Tapas many times - it is one of my very favorite places in Bethlehem. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, it's a joyful atmosphere, the sangrias are delicious, the tapas variety is great - and just enough for me. I always linger while I am there - it's just that kind of place. And I especially love to go when Thatcher and VanWycke are playing."

  • "We've been to Tapas on Main several times and are never disappointed. On Friday, live music added to the adventurous menu for an enjoyable time."

  • "We had dinner at Tapas on Friday, 4/4/14. Our server, Matt, was exceptional. He took the time to explain how the menu worked, gave us ideas for tapas combinations, as well as drink suggestions. He also spent time to explain some of the cultural background behind certain foods, drinks and the restaurant in general. We had a fantastic time and could not believe that we were there for 3 hours by the time we had our dessert and after dinner cordials. It was just what we needed after a busy work week. We highly recommend Tapas!"

  • "Menu is very diverse and provides great options. Our party of four each had something different and no one was disappointed. Noise level seems a bit loud, but for the younger crowd, not an issue. We will be going back often as there is so much to try. Large bar crowd on the weekend."

  • "Have visited & enjoyed this restaurant several times, but the last visit was a disappointment. Shrimp flatbread was overly salty, while other dishes (quinoa croquettes, most notably) were very bland, with only a touch of the mint yogurt sauce that could have saved them. Despite their name, shrimp in garlic broth also lacked flavor. Sangria was the highlight of the evening. Not sure I'll visit again."

  • "We went to Tapas on main for the first time for a birthday celebration. We were not disappointed. It made us feel just like we did on our vacation to Spain a few years back. It was romantic, the servers were super nice, accommodating and knowledgable. We will be returning!!!"

  • "We have been to Tapas on Main a few times and we continue to be impressed. The Sangria selections are wonderful and despite promising ourselves we will try the flatbreads or an entree next time -- keep finding things on the small plates menu we simply must have. This time we tried the lamb and it was superb, perfectly cooked with a great balsamic glaze. We love the fries with truffle oil and manchego cheese and both enjoyed terrific soups (mushroom and a spanish onion with melted manchego). The wait staff is well versed in the food and drink selections and we have always received excellent and accurate guidance when we ask for their input."

  • "Excellent experience! The lamb chops were our favorite. They recommend 4 tapas for 2 people which if you're hungry is definitely not enough. Overall very good. Will be back."

  • "I took a speaker and several colleagues to Tapas on Main after a scholarly presentation. We had a reservation for a slightly smaller group, but they effortlessly accommodated the two extra people. The waiter helped with our wine order and I really, really liked his choice for the white. Why didn't I write it down? Now I'll have to go back and investigate.... The servers were unobtrusive and helpful, and the food, while not spectacular, was tasty and fun to share. We were able to have a great conversation around the table, which is not always the case in restaurants so I would give this one special points for appropriate noise level and ambiance. The head waiter was very helpful with the bill. All in all, a very nice evening!"

  • "We recently enjoyed a very pleasant dining experience on an early Sunday afternoon. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Festive atmosphere!"

  • "Nice atmosphere, delicious food, and of course the wine sampler was a hit with the guests I went with. Only negative was that the portions were a little small for the apps. Overall, highly recommended for a great experience."

  • "Went w/ 2 girlfriends. As usual, got the "Gypsies" flight of 3 different sangria flavors. This is a good bet because they have different seasonal flavors each time you go. This winter, it was Persimmon, Sparkling Cider, Apple Cranberry, Cinnamon Spiced Red, etc. As I'd noticed before, a few of the varieties were a bit too sweetly flavored w/ liqueurs (ex. the Apple Cranberry had too much syrupy, artificial flavored apple schnapps). But the majority are very enjoyable. All from our group loved and highly recommend the Persimmon! The portions of some of the tapas are small, so we ordered 3 dishes each. The best ones: Blue Crab Croquettes, Garlic Shrimp, Chorizo Mussels, Beer & Cheese Queso. Just a warning: they charge $1 for extra pita."

  • "First time in a tapas place and the waiter really helped with his suggestions. Everything was good, especially the scallops and bacon-wrapped dates. The drinks were also delicious, albeit strong. As a college student, it's a bit much to go often, but I would definitely go again for special occasions."

  • "Took a friend for a birthday lunch here at her request. We both had soup and salads. Mine were excellent. her salad was a little boring--mostly pale lettuce. Lots of interesting things on the menu. Will definitely go back. Service was excellent once they figured out we were there. We were past the main lunch crowd so the place was very quiet. Someone seated us and then apparently didn't tell anyone to serve us ---we waited about 20 minutes and then asked for help. Nicely, the waitress made our coffee and tea complimentary to make up for it. we sat by the window with a view on Main."

  • "Had dinner at Tapas for my daughter's 29th birthday. We really enjoyed it! Food was great, people we friendly and we had a nice time. We will be back for sure. I had the Baby Lamb Chops and they were excellent!"

  • "Far exceeded my expectations! The sangria was perfect, my flatbread was literal food art!!"

  • "Everything from arriving to the front entrance of the restaurant, greeting from the hostess to our seating area, our server Matt, the food , entertainment to when we had to leave was perfect. Our waiter made the whole experience "the best in class", but the food was also very good and the wine selection gets an "A". Fun time, lively and definitely will return again with more friends. Felt like we were in Philadelphia or NYC, but lucky us, just a short drive to Bethlehem."

  • "Took my wife there for an Anniversary Dinner. We had a Pacifico Gift card that was accepted by Tapas. Otherwise would probably not have gone. Glad we did. Décor was great, waitress staff was friendly and helpful and the food was great. Will definitely go back and will bring colleagues on business meals."

  • "We had a reservation for a group of 4. We were seated immediately and the service was great! Sangria was amazing and the beers were reasonably priced. Highly recommend doing the tasting of 3 sangrias! The food was really good, although the boys in our group were still hungry. They didn't get the small plate concept....but they raved about the food they had! A bit noisy, but made for a really comfortable atmosphere to hang out. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "Wow...downtown Bethlehem is growing up. And you can tell by the friends it has brought to town. The atmosphere was fabulous, everyone was so friendly helpful and genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great meal. The food was terrific and I look forward to trying the rest of the menu!!!"

  • "The food was very good. Really enjoyed the tapas- steak tips and garlic shrimp to start. We went a more traditional route and ordered entrees for dinner. My veggie paella was awesome, great flavor, filling, but a little oily. I think if I went back, I'd just order a whole bunch of small tapas plates and snack away. I have a gluten allergy, which was very easy to navigate in the menu and the server was knowledgeable too. Overall a good experience! I'd definitely go back if I was in the area again."

  • "We dined here to celebrate a family member's birthday...started at the bar...3-5pm happy hour on Saturday....Loved it !!! Great sangria...then we were seated at our table...decided to start with the olive and hummus appetizers and a flatbread...loved all....continued on with several tapas selections and we also enjoyed them. The items were nicely spaced so we had plenty of time to enjoy our food. Desserts were excellent, especially loved the flourless chocolate cake. I highly recommend this restaurant and I am eager to return.."

  • "This place is great! Can't say enough about how great the food, service and ambiance was! Great recommendations by the server - get the meat and cheese plate - you won't be sorry! You can't go wrong in my opinion - lamb meatballs, Spanish omelet and beef tenderloin tips were all fantastic."

  • "The experience at Tapas on Main was excellent as always. The food was well prepared and the variety is good for the Lehigh Valley. The sangria's are always top notch and the service is very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. We will be back."

  • "The sangria was strong enough that I only needed one glass. The food was delicious! We got the Calamari, cheesy fries, and steak flatbread. The steak flatbread had a lot of different flavors---caramelized onions, blue cheese, and apples---but they all came together into a heavenly taste sensation. Even the calamari sauce had a medley of flavors. The fries were a little salty for my taste. For dessert we had flan, the best flan I've ever had. The calamari, cheesy fries, and flatbread ran me about $30. The food was so well prepared it was worth the price, but I would reserve Tapas on Main for special occasions unless you are going out for a drink and an appetizer."

  • "Nice server, limited tapas menu, arugula salad was best choice as well as cheese and sausage.. Others were just OK, I've had better ..Churro desert was doughy and was set back"

  • "The food was wonderful. We were not disappointed by anything. It was small and quaint. Everyone was very friendly and the service was fantastic. The server was always near by and checked on the table frequently. We had an issue with our gift card and they were very accommodating about it. We will definitely be returning soon (and frequently)."

  • "I love this restaurant but usually I just do the tapas. My husband and I did get 3 meals that did not blow us out of the eater. The lamb and pork. I will just stick to tapas. Everything else was great"

  • "Tapas on Main is a great place for dinner, drinks and meeting friends. We had a series of small plates (tapas) that included lamb meatballs, crab croquettes, skirt steak flat breads and a shrimp dish. Food is moderately priced and the wine list is adequate (although they ran out of their cabernet and offered us a substitute which wasn't as great as the first bottle). Dinner for four with two bottles of wine ran $180 including tip and tax. In addition, they have great entertainment which brings in a later night bar crowd."
