  • "Since moving to the area I had been reccommended this place specifically for their delicious sangrias. I was surprised to find that their sangrias were not the only excellent menu item! The food was fantastic, fresh and perfectly cooked. The sangria was refreshing and delicious for a summer night! I highly recommend and will be returning for Sangria Thursdays from now on!!"

  • "We were able to get reservations the same day, but don't count on that. The weather was beautiful, and we wanted to eat outdoors which we specified on the reservation request. When we arrived at Tapas on Main we were seated outdoors with no wait. The waitstaff was attentive and informative. We enjoyed the varied sangria choices. Our group ordered from the tapas menu, the entree menu, and the meats and cheeses menu. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food and drinks. We had a leisurely dinner and were not made to feel like we had to rush because they needed the table. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience with friends. I will dine here again."

  • "Recently visited Tapas on Main for a late birthday celebration for our friend. We made the reservations online which were very helpful. Our server was Miguel who did an outstanding job to provide the best service. The only thing we seemed to be disappointed with was the size if the tapas themselves. They were suggested for sharing, however the portion sizes were extremely small, not at all what we all would have considered a decent appetizer size. For example the scallops tapas came out with only 3 scallops on the plate. With the 6 of us it was kind of pointless, so it was a good thing we ordered 3 other tapas plus our own entrees for dinner. Otherwise the atmosphere was pleasant and we love the Sangrias!"

  • "Normally a very pleasant dining experience, but last weekend we realized how service can impact our overall dining experience. As our server approached and filled our water glasses, a simple question from my husband, as to whether or not the water was filtered, suddenly put our waiter on defense. My husband does not drink alcohol and so indulges in bottled water. As strange as this may sound, it became so uncomfortable that we had to ask to speak with the manager and request another waiter. We never did quite recover from this initial shock even though the new waiter was awesome. The food may have been as good as always, but for us, Tapas on Main has lost its appeal."

  • "Can't get a better glass of sangria around! Wonderful staff, comfortable ambiance and amazing food! Typically enjoy dinner here, but the brunch is also excellent."

  • "The Sangrias were delicious! The tapas are very small, they don't include many pieces of bread/chips for the dips, and they were kinda pricey for the amount of food on the plate."

  • "We went with friends for a nice dinner, and Tapas on Main did not disappoint! Even though we were early, we were seated immediately. The hostess was very pleasant. The manager came to our table several times to see how things were and was very friendly and accommodating. JT, our server, was wonderful! We could not have had a more pleasant or polite young man. The drinks were awesome! LOVED the strawberry-peach sangria! The food was absolutely delicious! We would go back again, and would absolutely recommend it to friends!"

  • "We had traditional tapas and found the quality of the food was very good but the quantity was expensive for the portion, I would qualify that by saying that the oration was smaller then a traditional appetizer portion. We sent the artichoke dip back as the lemon flavor was over powering. We asked the Waite for recommendations and he had none with the exception of the sangria being world known" so we ordered a picture of the peach strawberry inky to find it had NO fruit in it and was far from the best we have we ever had. We mentioned this to the waiter, but he didn't seem to care and did't offer to bring a different flavor to try. The manager only stopped by when we first sat down, but thinking back I should have asked for the manager."

  • "We live in Bethlehem - Tapas is a place we take friends that visit because we know it will always be great - we also frequent their sister restaurant Mesa Modern in Easton. Keep up the great work!"

  • "I had been eager to try this restaurant with my girlfriend, especially to introduce her to tapas. Sangrias were wonderful, notably the persimmon. The croquetas de cangrejo (crab croquettes) did not taste as though they had much crab filling, and the papas (fries) were so soggy that not even the Manchego could make uplift the flavor. Albondigas (lamb meatballs) were tasty, though a little fresh garnish would have made them much better. Unfortunately, paella palomino was a huge disappointment. The rice did not have flavor, mussels were few and small, and there were only 2 shrimp, 2 clams, and 1-2 diced scallops. Overall, it went downhill after the sangria and the bland, subpar paella sank the meal."

  • "Uniquely Spanish menu (Tapas, paella, etc.), superbly prepared. We shared a shrimp flat bread, two different croquette tapas and a skillet of paella. All were knock-outs. Reasonably priced wine list with good selections. Service was prompt and friendly. Management was notably present, friendly and attentive. We will definitely return soon."

  • "Great staff, very attentive and quick service. My drink never ran dry and we always had our food out (tapas style dinner) in perfect timing."

  • "Great Tapas. They were crowded, service was slow on a Sunday afternoon."

  • "Even though we had a reservation , we were seated right next to another table. There were other empty 2 person tables yet we were forced to hear their conversations and they ours. Also, Our waiter did not know about validation and I had to insist that he check into it. I returned my iced tea because it tasted odd to me. He agreed that they use an unusual type of tea but did not take it off my bill. The food was great."

  • "I love Tapas on Main for anytime of day. Wonderful food and great wait staff. I've never had anything I did not love. Great lunch specials too. I'd make sure I had a reservation for evening though."

  • "Third visit to Tapas on Main; with each one better than the last! The quality, variety and presentation of the food is outstanding. Love the concept of small plates for sharing, Tapas is the best in the Valley at delivering on that concept. From the meat and cheese trays to the sangria and everything in between, consistent and mouthwatering."

  • "Wonderful from start to finish! We were cordially greated by the hostes who was very polite and attentive as we made her a special seating request! She made the effort to accomodate or request! This dowtown gem has a very unique ambiance which I can guaranteed you can't find in the area....our server as always was on point in all aspects during our meal...the scallops are from another world....my wife loved the pitas with the dark beer and manchego cheese! Talk about addicting it makes you not want to stop! The server even brough us more pitas! .....you must try the piña strawberry mojito!!!!!! A little bit of spain in our back yard with a lot of taste!!!!!!!!! "

  • " April 18, our favorite table (#21) was set and waiting for our arrival. The El Toro's (martini's) were adjusted to be less sweet and were just right. Our server was Hannah, who was pleasant and knowledgeable. She answered any questions we had regarding the food and beverages. Our entree's were served hot and in a timely fashion after the appetizers , seasonal Olive plate and a plate of Fries w/grated cheese. I had the, always tasty, mussels and my wife ordered the brazed lamb. This was a very well prepared dish and along with it's appealing presentation made for a fantastic dining experience. Neither of us had tasted a lamb meal that had that extra essence, tenderness and flavor to the palate. Very impressive. "

  • "This is one of our favorite placed to eat on Main Street. Pretty much everything is great, and the ambiance is always wonderful. Sangria is fabulous on a hot summer evening. Wine list is extensive, and they always have seasonal cocktails. The entrees are fabulous, but there is always something for everyone on the tapas menu. Outside seating is plentiful."

  • "I have been to Tapas many times - it is one of my very favorite places in Bethlehem. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, it's a joyful atmosphere, the sangrias are delicious, the tapas variety is great - and just enough for me. I always linger while I am there - it's just that kind of place. And I especially love to go when Thatcher and VanWycke are playing."

  • "Menu is very diverse and provides great options. Our party of four each had something different and no one was disappointed. Noise level seems a bit loud, but for the younger crowd, not an issue. We will be going back often as there is so much to try. Large bar crowd on the weekend."

  • "We had dinner at Tapas on Friday, 4/4/14. Our server, Matt, was exceptional. He took the time to explain how the menu worked, gave us ideas for tapas combinations, as well as drink suggestions. He also spent time to explain some of the cultural background behind certain foods, drinks and the restaurant in general. We had a fantastic time and could not believe that we were there for 3 hours by the time we had our dessert and after dinner cordials. It was just what we needed after a busy work week. We highly recommend Tapas!"

  • "Have visited & enjoyed this restaurant several times, but the last visit was a disappointment. Shrimp flatbread was overly salty, while other dishes (quinoa croquettes, most notably) were very bland, with only a touch of the mint yogurt sauce that could have saved them. Despite their name, shrimp in garlic broth also lacked flavor. Sangria was the highlight of the evening. Not sure I'll visit again."

  • "We went to Tapas on main for the first time for a birthday celebration. We were not disappointed. It made us feel just like we did on our vacation to Spain a few years back. It was romantic, the servers were super nice, accommodating and knowledgable. We will be returning!!!"

  • "We have been to Tapas on Main a few times and we continue to be impressed. The Sangria selections are wonderful and despite promising ourselves we will try the flatbreads or an entree next time -- keep finding things on the small plates menu we simply must have. This time we tried the lamb and it was superb, perfectly cooked with a great balsamic glaze. We love the fries with truffle oil and manchego cheese and both enjoyed terrific soups (mushroom and a spanish onion with melted manchego). The wait staff is well versed in the food and drink selections and we have always received excellent and accurate guidance when we ask for their input."

  • "I took a speaker and several colleagues to Tapas on Main after a scholarly presentation. We had a reservation for a slightly smaller group, but they effortlessly accommodated the two extra people. The waiter helped with our wine order and I really, really liked his choice for the white. Why didn't I write it down? Now I'll have to go back and investigate.... The servers were unobtrusive and helpful, and the food, while not spectacular, was tasty and fun to share. We were able to have a great conversation around the table, which is not always the case in restaurants so I would give this one special points for appropriate noise level and ambiance. The head waiter was very helpful with the bill. All in all, a very nice evening!"

  • "Went w/ 2 girlfriends. As usual, got the "Gypsies" flight of 3 different sangria flavors. This is a good bet because they have different seasonal flavors each time you go. This winter, it was Persimmon, Sparkling Cider, Apple Cranberry, Cinnamon Spiced Red, etc. As I'd noticed before, a few of the varieties were a bit too sweetly flavored w/ liqueurs (ex. the Apple Cranberry had too much syrupy, artificial flavored apple schnapps). But the majority are very enjoyable. All from our group loved and highly recommend the Persimmon! The portions of some of the tapas are small, so we ordered 3 dishes each. The best ones: Blue Crab Croquettes, Garlic Shrimp, Chorizo Mussels, Beer & Cheese Queso. Just a warning: they charge $1 for extra pita."

  • "Took a friend for a birthday lunch here at her request. We both had soup and salads. Mine were excellent. her salad was a little boring--mostly pale lettuce. Lots of interesting things on the menu. Will definitely go back. Service was excellent once they figured out we were there. We were past the main lunch crowd so the place was very quiet. Someone seated us and then apparently didn't tell anyone to serve us ---we waited about 20 minutes and then asked for help. Nicely, the waitress made our coffee and tea complimentary to make up for it. we sat by the window with a view on Main."
