Tapas Capriccio is an oasis of calm in your otherwise hectic world. We specialize in hospitality, fine food, wines and...hospitality. Our soft music, intimate lighting, beautiful wines and great food all help to dissolve the tensions in all our lives.

Claudio, our Madrid raised tapas chef is… dedicated to authentic ingredient scratch cooking and preparing our fine tapas in the same manner he learned in Spain.

We at Tapas Capriccio are dedicated to our guests. We don’t try to just satisfy our patrons, our aim is to thrill them each time they visit.

Our menu is in a constant state of flux. We love to show new items all the time. We make fresh panna cotta daily, we have a different souffle available each day, we even do several variations of our made from scratch empanadas. You never know what you will find on our "specials list."

"The tapas portions were very small, but the entres were more of what we expected. Overall, food quality was average to slightly above average. Considering the restaurant was mostly empty when I took my family there, the service was below par. In fact, my wife was served her dinner after me and my sons pizza came out a full 10 minutes later than that. Rules of thumb: serve ladies and children first."

"Very pleasantly surprised. There was a wedding reception going on but it didn't interfere with our dining experience. The owner visited with us and we really enjoyed the conversation. Food was excellent and wine was nicely priced!"

"This was our first time to this place. We mostly stuck to the Tapas, but they had plenty of "other" food like pizza if you don't want the Tapas. The service was great, and the food was fantastic. Tapas is great b/c you get a large variety of food in small amounts and Capriccio exceeds at this. There is a wide variety of Tapas, all very good. I strongly suggest the baked provolone cheese dish, I just can't remember what it was called!"

"This place was very disappointing. They ran out of ribs, tomatoes , and the food was subpar. Save your money and go elsewhere. I've been to many true tapas restaurants and this was a joke. As per the pasta-very poorly cooked and bland flavours."

"I enjoyed an early Valentines dinner with my wife at Tapas Capriccio.
Their caprese salad was delicious. The tapas-sized stuffed mushrooms and mussels in saffron sauce were a perfect follow-up. Our Paella was excellent - all the calamari were done right, clams, chicken fish - all tasted great. Even the leftovers the next day were excellent.
The service was wonderful - the waiter brought us a Patagonian Malbec/Merlot/Cab called "Intimo" which was reasonably priced, and he helped fill the glasses as they emptied. Great conversationalist and interesting stories!
About the only thing that was disappointing was that there were not more people there to enjoy this fine restaurant - we had the place to ourselves!"

"Went to celebrate my birthday. Seated in a booth which was comfortable and not noisy. Entertainment was a guitar player who was excellent. Server was either inexperienced or new. Was not attentive nor did she take directions well. Ordered all small plates for our dinner and gave definite directions on when to bring them according to appetizer, soup/salad and then the main course dishes. She only got the appetizer, correct. She proceeded to bring soup/salad and all dishes at the same time. As a result many of the dishes cooled before we were able to enjoy them. Calamari, Scallops Parmesan, Mushroom Rissoto and Beef and Pork Meatballs were outstanding. Eggplant parmesan also a hit. Minestrone soup was aweful and Caprese salad soso."

"The food was really good, but the service was a little slow considering that there were only about 10-15 people in the restaurant. I also felt that the prices were a little high because 2 empanadas were $8, which is way more than any ground meat fried pie is worth. The ambiance was a little off because with the prices, I expected the servers to be top notch, but they were a little casual in their dealings with the customers, and just lacked that polish that servers have at higher class restaurants. I also didn't like the fact that the art work that was on the walls had a price tag right underneath so that you could purchase it if you wanted. It made it feel like the place was going out of business and trying to recoup some losses."
