Service was promt but a bit less than professional. Wait staff should learn proper sides to serve and remove from even if it eatails moving to the other side of the table. They should never rest a service pot or pitcher on the dining table or remove unfinished food or drink when guests are gone from the table. The tap room is a lovely spot but the service has always fallen short. And please, don't let them say "you'se".

The Sunday Brunch was fine...but a bit of a disappointment since we were so spoiled the last time we were there, in January. However, in comparison to other places we have been, this is still at the top of our list with regard to choices of food for brunch.

I very much enjoy going to the Hotel Bethlehem; have never been disappointed. I have gone for cocktails at Christmas, Sunday Brunch, lunch and dinner in the Tap Room, dinner in 1741, a wedding reception in the Grand Ballroom, and I had a my daughter's bridal shower in the Lehigh Room. Always excellent service and delicious food in this beautiful building at a perfect location. Stopped in their new gift shop and was in awe of the many beautiful items for sale.

We were on our way to the airport and wanted to have real food before a day in flight and were pleasantly surprised at how good all of our 4 lunches were. You don't always get the best food at hotels. But Hotel Bethlehem's food was yummy. We had everything from a fish sandwich, veggie wrap to an entree salad with chicken noodle soup. Everything had great flavor and was quite fresh. The dining area was beautifully historic. We will definitely stop again!

Yes, the brunch is expensive. But it's worth every penny. The pancakes, which they make fresh for you, were the best I've ever had IN MY LIFE. Same for the desserts. I've seen a lot of these brunch desserts, where they look fantastic, but are a yawn to eat. This was the best red velvet cake I have EVER had, and the same for the German chocolate cake, ditto with the truffles. Waittress was attentive and charming. Live piano music was lovely and The hotel interior itself is worth the trip. A caveat: the chilled lobster claws were soggy and tasteless, as if they had been frozen and defrosted. But overall, a great brunch.

The setting was very nice as was the food presentation and the piano player. However due to the high ceiling and tile floor in the upstairs tap room it was very noisy, especially when there is a large group occupying a large table. The quality of the food was very good to excellent with the exception of the prime rib that was extremely difficult to cut let alone chew. This was brought to the attention of the carver who offered another piece off the same section.

Dined here several times and the food is always excellent. Great atmosphere, not rushed and surprisingly not crowded. An expanded menu is needed. We have eaten both in the Tap Room and the restaurant here. Both suffer from a very limited menu but with the best venue on the street. Prices are not higher than other nearby venues.

The management of the Tap Room is wonderfully accommodating. We have eaten there for special occasions and the service is always outstanding. This time we requested seating on the Terrace and were graciously provided seats overlooking the valley, including the hospital where I serve. Our brunch was delicious, with choices including prime rib, salmon, made-to-order omelettes, pastries, and even bananas foster and blueberries jubilee! We had our daughter and 3 year-old granddaughter along, and the Tap Room provided the requested booster seat and then removed it when gd chose to sit in one of the regular seats. Our waiter was very attentive and graciously took a picture of our group. Altogether a fantastic experience!

Normally when we attend brunch at Hotel Bethlehem the food and service are excellent. This visit the food was OK, and the choices were mediocre. The service was terrible. We waited fifteen minutes before our server came to our table for drink service. After getting our food, I sat down and noticed my spoon had dried-on food. I flagged the waitress down for a new one. She never brought me one. She cleared our plates and told my husband she'd bring him a new knife. She never brought one. Our water was never refilled. Very surprising of this hotel...not the norm.

The musical brunch is WAY overpriced. Yes, there was live piano, but that wasn't enough. It's hard for a regular person with a regular appetite to make the most of a buffet anyway, so the food has to be spectacular, but for just about $35.00...?! The food was nothing special. I would have hoped for more seafood selections for that price at least. We were seated right along the high-traffic corridor by the front desk...I know someone has to sit there, but that wasn't great. We had a very similar brunch at a restaurant in the mountains recently (which included cocktails) for about $12.00 less. $35.00 is ridiculous. Never again. Maybe that price was advertised online, but I never saw it, which is why we tried it.

First, the noise. Three diferent sources of music, a piano player/singer in the lobby, piped in music through speakers, a live band playing loudly at an event on the mezzanine. What a cacophony! Then, they were out of several menu items, including the 2 different entrees that my husband and I ordered. The food that we did get was good but the overall experience was pretty bad. Seems like there is always one or more issues at this place. Too bad; it could be so great.

We've been to the hotel Bethlehem many times and it seems like it is on the downswing. This time was the worst. The tap room was really cold and we had to move our seats out of the cold air conditioning. Another couple we ended up seated by mentioned they did this too. The staff was unfriendly and there seemed to be tension. The food was just ok. Probably will be on the lookout for another Main Street hangout at this point.

We went for Sunday brunch on Father's Day. It was good but not worth the price. Since it was a special occasion we thought we'd treat ourselves. We will not go again on a holiday as it was not worth the $39.95 cost at all. The breakfast items were great but the lunch/dinner items were a disappointment. Not a great variety. Desserts were a disappoint too.

The Sunday brunch is excellent! So much food to taste and enjoy! We greatly appreciate the "kid food table" that includes kid favorites and crayons, coloring book packs, cars, etc for the little ones to keep busy with while mom and dad really do get to enjoy the food and each other. Our kids are 4 and 6 and we always ask to be seated by the window for their entertainment and the gorgeous view. The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly, food is great, and the location is lovely.

A bit disappointed with the choices for breakfast for the price. Only omlettes and french toast. Would have liked regular eggs or eggs benadict. Thought choices for lunch were better but was there at 10:30 for breakfast. Set up too was very congested. Very small area for when alot of people were in line. Went thru the omlette line then the syrup was next then the waffles. Had to butt in front of someone for the waffle first. Lines could have been on both sides for some of the items.

I expected great food but it was the best meal I've had in a very long time. My mom and I both ordered the scallops and it was AMAZING. I will have to go back again just for the scallops. Nice wine choices by the glass and the service was perfect. There was a wedding that night and it was fun to hear the festivities going.
