  • "WE love the ambience of the hotel and especially the openness of the lobby area."

  • "We arrived on time and were promptly seated and served. There was a rather large selection of breakfast food items."

  • "little too loud for me. may have been because it was St. Patty's day weekend. average food for the price."

  • "Brunch at the Hotel Bethlehem has become a tradition. My family loves it. The food is great and the piano music is a nice touch. Kids under six are free but they have an entire station dedicated to foods they will eat. They also have coloring books to keep them from becoming bored. I highly recommend it for a special occasion as it can be a bit pricey but worth every cent."

  • "We were entertained with wonderful Irish music for St. Patrick's Day. The harp was a great background. FIrst time we had corned beef and cabbage. I love that we can sample a wide variety of food. The desserts were such individual masterpieces that my daughter took a picture of her plate. And the hand-cut smoked ham was to die for. Loved the custom omelets and Belgian waffles with fruit. And definitely recommend the orange juice and pineapple juice. I'd love to find out if either can be purchased."

  • "This was our 1st time dining at the Tap Room in the Hotel Bethlehem. I decided to take advantage of the filet mignon lighter fare dining option. The dinner was very tasty and nicely presented. My spouse tried the corned beef and cabbage menu item and thoroughly enjoyed the entree. Overall we were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and dining experience."

  • "I was in the neighborhood, not solely for St. Patty's Day, but it happened coincidentally that I was dining at The Tap Room during the Bethlehem St. Patty's Day celebration. The staff allowed patrons to enjoy themselves lively with out being too bothersome to dinner-diners. The food was delicious and I will definitely go back next time in the vicinity."

  • "Another great meal at the tap room. Jazz duo playing in the background made for nice ambiance late in a Sunday evening. Meals varied from fish to meatloaf and all were excellent."

  • "This is one of the few places in the area to have a nice lunch. The food is excellent and the atmosphere; the restaurant is appropriately named. It was St Patrick's Day weekend so it was very active but service was very good. We appreciated the hostesses vsits to the table to make sure all was going well! I understand they have a terrific bruch so we will beback!"

  • "We decided to visit this gem for Sunday fun-day brunch and we couldn't have picked a better spot. fresh made omelets, french toast, mimosa's... Locks with all the accoutrements, prime rib, ham. All I can say is we couldn't eat dinner until 8PM that night... We will be back!"

  • "I always enjoy Sunday brunch at the Hotel B. we sat in the Terrace which is beautiful. The terrace has nice views of Main Street."

  • "I was so excited to finally get reservations for brunch here! We were seated in the breathtaking Terrace Room. The hostesses and wait staff could not have been friendlier nor more attentive. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food. Although the quality of the ingredients was very good, I thought the selection was limited and unimaginative. I was also surprised to discover that the hefty cost did not include the usual Mimosa or Bloody Mary."

  • "The Sunday brunch buffet was excellent with a large variety of very tasty dishes and attentive service."

  • "We had 6 people. It seemed like this waitress might be able to handle 2 people. Drinks were not refilled. Coffee was cold. We waited an hour for our food. Staff was NOT attentive to us. You might think that a manager might stop over and ask us how everything is going. Not a chance. Asked for my order, Caesars salad to come before entre, that didn't happen. So overall not good at all. I realize that most places have a policy that parties of 6 or more have tip automatically added to bill. I despise this policy but understand it and accept it. However, it is like adding insult to injury when you get billed for 20% but get service worth maybe 5%. It was that bad. So they stuck me with what I consider a sever over charge and terrible service."

  • "Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated immediately, even though we were 15 minutes early. Our waiter was very nice; however, he seemed somewhat inexperienced and did not have a good understanding of the beers that were offered (this is, after all, a "Tap Room".) Service was, overall, nice and pleasant, but slow and inattentive. Food was good. Seafood chopped salad excellent!"

  • "The Sunday brunch is amazing, but since it is a bit pricey, it's a great place for celebrating a special occasion. Lot of breakfast choices, hot entrees, custom-made omelets, salads, soup, dessert - you will not leave hungry."

  • "Food and service were average. We celebrated my daughter 16th BD. Despite sending notification upon making reservation, nothing special was prepared ; even just a small token would have been nice. Overall, I thought it was overpriced for the quality. There are other eateries in this town. We will not be back anytime soon."

  • "I had dined here five years ago and had a lovely experience. I finally made it back with my mother and daughter to share a holiday shopping and dining day. The decor was beautiful, the hostess and staff welcoming however once we were seated we were left alone. I had to go back to the hostess desk and ask for a server. Once she arrived she gave us a menu and asked for a cocktail menu. She never returned. Ten minutes later my mother had to go to the hostess and ask for a server. A young man was prompt and professional and service was impeccable. The food, however, was very disappointing. The tuna melt was cold, the shrimp special yummy and the quinoa salad had barely a half teaspoon of quinoa sprinkled on greens. Cocktails were fine."

  • "Here the food is as it should at a Classic Historic Hotel, GREAT TRADITIONAL FOOD! I've stayed here also, and the Breakfasts are very good (the Breakfasts are @ Hotel prices of course, but, lunch & dinner are normal prices for the food quality). We ate at the Terrace Dinning Room - lovely arched windows overlooking the valley and river."

  • "We went to celebrate two birthdays and created a great memories. Were able to take great pictures using the holiday decorations. Strolled Main Street after brunch. Perfect event. Only item I would have liked to have seen on menu - Eggs Benedict. Noelle, our server, was friendly and helpful. We had a great time."

  • "The Hotel was beautifully decorated for the Holidays...very festive...the Tap Room was very busy. My friends and I Enjoyed a lovely lunch. Our waiter had a lot of tables to take care of and service was slow but we were in no hurry either. I would definitely go back again."

  • "Thinking most places WOULD be open New Years Day was an error on my part. We came to the Tap Room as we do like Bethlehem. The menu appeared to be just what I call typical bar food. AN exception was the French Onion soup - it was outstanding! We did have VERY good burgers, but it was hardly the brunch menu I was hoping for. I would return."

  • "I frequent the hotel for the bar, restaurant quite often. Thursday night jazz in the bar is awesome. This lunch experience was below their normal standards. Service was slow, the chicken soup was very tasty but warm vs hot and the meal was bland, not presented well. This was not to the normal standards of the hotel. I love this place and downtown Bethlehem and will definitely go back. However, the hotel needs to get their food service to be consistent and top notch every time."

  • "Spent an evening with our adult children over the holiday weekend. Service was poor. Asked twice just to have water refilled. Waiter was not very pleasant and actually asked us if we were ready for dessert before our entrees arrived. Food was tasteless. My son had the trout which was over cooked and bland I had the crab cakes which were just ok. All vegetables were over cooked asparagus was mushy. Signature cocktail"joy" was weak. Very noise and crowded it seems that extra tables were added for the holidays. I understand that it is supposed to have a pub feel but the atmosphere was disappointing."

  • "We dined at the Tap Room last Sunday night. The restaurant was attractive and the service attentive, given the holiday crowd. There was a Christmas caroler in the lobby which added to the noise level, but it is the Christmas season after all. The food was a disappointment unfortunately. My wife had the meat loaf, obviously a crowd pleaser, but it was very dry and pretty overcooked. A sauce would have helped greatly. I had the seafood cob salad and it was fine, not exceptional. The chicken soup was exceptional. We didn't have the onion soup but it really looked great as well."

  • "Went on December 21st to celebrate my mom's birthday. Very festive, lovely decorations, nice crowd. Food arrived promptly. My mom enjoyed her crabcake sandwich. I enjoyed the steak sandwich, it was a little dry, should be served with au jus. Great overall experience. Drinks were reasonably priced, I've spent more on cocktails at local restaurants. We already decided that we will be going back next year for my mom's birthday!"

  • "I had a great time visiting Bethlehem pa, there's a lot fun things to do and see and the Bethlehem hotel is one of them, I enjoyed the good, service and atmosphere. It's a great place for a date or just hanging out with friends. The menu had something for everyone, as well as selection if cocktails , beer and wine. It's a must see and do !"

  • "I love downtown Bethlehem and was disappointed when the bad weather kept my NJ family from coming out. But I am glad they did not eat at the Hotel that day. The service was slow never got the dinner bread and had to chase her to order dessert. She was sweet though. The chicken salad was minimal on the big croissant and very light on chicken. The burger was cooked ok but the meat was dry. The fish and chips and macaroni and cheese were great!"
