TAO, across the street in the Venetian, fit our needs to a T. We were dining fairly early, so the restaurant was almost deserted. This place picks up the pace later on. We had a pre-dinner drink and then: satay chicken (excellent, peanut sauce was understated), lobster and shrimp spring roll (textures and flavor wonderful), filet mignon pepper steak (outstanding), pork lo mein (flavor blends were just right). We had a drink in the bar and waited 30min. I returned to host to ask if it would be much longer they said there a no tables come back when the buzzer rings. So we waited about another 10 min and were taken to our table. Not a great first impression. Waiting 40 minutes when you have a reservation is unacceptable. The food and service was great. We just had a really poor experience at the front. If you plan to go to the nightclub, be sure to order an entree for free admission -- definitely a good way to save some $$. The nightclub was a great time - awesome music and everyone there to have a great night.
