The food was delicious and there were so many other things on the menu I wish I could have tried. The tuna tartare appetizer was incredible! Cool ambiance, great service! Price was somewhat high but not really compared to everything in Las Vegas. We had Sushi all around and everything tasted good, The shrimp toast was out of this world. It wasn't the best tasting sushi I've had but it was good. The food was awesome and there was plenty of it. We certainly didn't leave hungry. The decor was great and there was a great atmosphere.
I will warn you it was loud in there though and we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated even though we'd booked a table. The staff were really friendly but the service was a little slow. I had been to Tao a couple years ago and it was even better than I remembered. The food tasted very fresh and was bursting with flavor - I had the wasabi crusted filet and my gf had the Thai roasted chicken. We also split the pork spring rolls and an order of the vegetable fried rice. We really enjoyed everything. Their cocktails were great too. We also had the chicken gyoza and lobster wontons. The gyoza was pretty good but nothing special. The wontons are a must! In addition to the good food, the service was great, and I loved the vibrant atmosphere. If you plan to go to the nightclub, be sure to order an entree for free admission -- definitely a good way to save some $$. The nightclub was a great time - awesome music and everyone there to have a great night. The décor is incredible and although the restaurant is big, it’s still intimate because the tables are located on different levels. With the purchase of a main entrée, you do get access to the nightclub, but we were too tired to go at the end of the day. Servers are very knowledgeable and professional. They seated us immediately. The server and the food were fantastic, no complaints. However, after dinner we went to the bar to enjoy some drinks. While the server was friendly, the service was slow and the process painful. In particular, the server would not accept my credit card to open the tab. Apparently, when you are a Jr. and the credit card doesn't reflect that, you cannot use it. In spite of multiple forms of ID I was forced to use my ATM card. My ATM card is still there, the server never returned it. The irony in all of this mess is she allowed me to PAY the tab with the same credit card she wouldn't take to hold the tab. Go figure. The service was top notch and the food was heavenly. Appetizers - Garlic Green Beans and Pork Potstickers w/Chile Sesame Glaze. My friend says she dreams about their potstickers, and now I see why. She had Filet Mignon in Ginger Scallion Broth w/Wasabi Dipping Sauce. I had Spicy Smoked Salmon Roll w/Sweet Wasabi Sauce and Crispy Spicy Tuna Roll w/Avocado and Soy Paper. Yum. Dessert - Crispy Fuji Apple Blossoms w/Tahitian Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Lemongrass Crème Brulee w/Macadamia Biscotti. When we got to the end, we were so sad we wanted to start over.
