Had to admit, a little nervous about going when the hostess called us to confirm reservation and one reviewer's comments about the serving temperature of the wine. We were advised of the lack of true outdoor dining, but accommodations were made to seat us by an open window table - more than satisfied our needs (albeit a little loud when the kids were playing below in the fountain). We loved the ambiance the first time and came back to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The large doors and windows when opened make for a unique indoor/outdoor dining experience. Tasteful decor in dark wood and leather with granite topped dining tables gives the feel of a high end dining experience.
Service and food is excellent and not super expensive. Dinner and drinks for two came in right at about a $100 for us.
The fact that this restaurant is co-located with the I-Pic theaters makes for a great evening out for those wanting a nice dinner with a movie in a super plush environment.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMWine needs workI’ve developed a pet peeve with restraints that present themselves as a wine aficionado and then serve their glasses at room temp. The architects of Tanzy put a lot of effort into displaying their bottles in a glass cellar, but then they poor their glasses from a hot bottle. That was not a great start to my visit, but at least the food mostly made up for it. We had the sea bass and braised beef. The braised beef was a hearty portion and a little over cooked, but really good overall. It is served with a cheese filled gnocchi that outshone anything else on the plate. The fish was good.
