Portions are a good size so if you are starving, as we were, you're good. The food was all perfectly cooked. I had the filet mignon rare, my wife had the veal chop and both were very good. I am not a big fan of sauces on filet mignon but this one was fine, not overly slathered, and a little variety is always good. Dessert was soso. A few doors down there's a Sloans where you can get an ice cream and walk around the area. Inside is very dark and romantic; at first we sat outside, but the patio is right next to a 4 lane road and was noisy, we immediately moved inside. Food was very good, not great but not bad. But some entrees loaded with too much "accompanying" food. For example, the broiled scallops were overwhelmed by the mushrooms. And while they were exceedingly tasty, there were so much and the juice of the mushrooms permeated the scallops. Another fish fish was loaded with potatoes, also soaked in a sauce.
