"We ate at Tanzy twice in one week; the fist visit was good enough to recommend it to other dining companions. The appetizers are special; calamari like you've never had it before, scrumptious beef carpaccio, mozzarella mad fresh at your table. (Who needs entrees?) The entree specials were highly appreciated. Give a +++++++ to service on both nights (one a Saturday). Use valet parking and get your ticket validated. We'll go back again soon to see if we can find something to complain about."

"We visited Tanzy while in town for a quick vacation. The room and decor are immediately impressive. The food was well conceived and executed. We especially enjoyed the linguine and mussels, which is a deceptively simple dish that was simply delicious. Our only complaint was that the server forgot to bring our calimari appetizer until after we'd finished the main course, at which point we were ready for the red velvet bread pudding we ordered for dessert (and which was also great)."

"Fun place, great food, great atmosphere. Note the copper ceiling and wine cellar particularly. The calimari app, salmon, swordfish are all excellent. However the enthusiasm of customers on a Saturday night make this a very loud place. The booths comfortably hold six but be prepared to yell to the person in the opposite corner."

"I have been to Tanzy for lunch and after-work drinks several times and it has always been good.

I requested and got a table next to the windows which we got. A gentle breeze made it very nice

I had scallops and they were cooked very nicely. My date had the pasta with puttanesca sauce and declared it very good.

We ordered lamb chop appetizers, which were also very tasty."

"Perhaps if I had known that this was owned and connected to the Ipic Theater I'd have paused before making a reso. I didn't. Midway thought the meal I was thinking 'expensive diner theater'. With pricy food and a somewhat ambitious menu I expected a lot. A lot more than we got. My lamb porterhouse was seriously undercooked inside. The attempts to repair it were comic. The crab stuffed shrimp were cooked uneven and the crab stuffing wad way too much bread filler and too,little crab. When discussing our not-so-good experience with the manager while writing for the lamb to return, he said "have you tried our appetizers?" a curious non-sequitur. Bottom line: chain quality service at gourmet prices. Go elsewhere if you are serious about dining."

"my fiance's birthday, impressed with MOST of the service however there was a table next to us celebrating a birthday as well and they got to their desert menu about 15 minutes before we were ready for our desert. Their waiter came out with a desert plate all lit up with a candle singing happy birthday. To us that was very nice and the other patrons enjoyed that as well. However, when it came time for us to have my fiance's desert (we were expecting the same enthusiasm as the table next to us) our waiter came over with a desert with an UN-lit candle and put it in front of her and said "i dont sing happy birthday" and simply just lit the candle after placing it in front of her. I found this very uncomfortable. I sang for her."
