Best dessert I ever ate!Tapas tasty ,service excellent, but stand out was el diablo, a gluten free chocolate dessert.
You must order and it's enough for 2, but you might not want to share .YUM.I will definitely be back6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMTheater District FindWonderful place to have a dinner before a theater production in downtown Seattle! Cozy with a nice urban vibe. The food was wonderful, with a nice variety of choices on the menu. The servers were extremely helpful with food suggestions and pairings, and knew the components of the particular dishes well. For a foodie, that is part of the fun.
Our dinning experience was relaxed and delicious. A definite find and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice place to dine in the area.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent for before ACTWe arrived at 6pm so we'd have time to get to ACT on time. Our table was ready and service was excellent. The food was outstanding. We especially liked the blue cheese soufflé (queso azul), the green beans with harissa, insalada valencia, gambas, and the calamari. The spices were wonderful and diverse. The bread with corn meal was also a hit and no one complained when we had 3 helpings. We did not have dessert and coffee but I am sure they would have been great. We were able to park close by and walk to the theatre, which was a plus.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMVery pleasant evening with 4 coupleWe had a lovely group meal (family style dining) at the restaurant. The wine list, beer and food menu was perfect. 8 folks ate and drank and the meal was excellent & great value.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMCasual Atmosphere, Fantastic FoodDon't worry about dressing up here. The decor is "warehouse modern" with concrete floors, ramps, high unfinished ceilings, and brown paper tablecloths. The food is truly amazing, and trust your server to guide you on amounts. Because they bring things in waves, you fill up much faster than you think you will. The wilted spinach salad with duck confit is amazing. Definitely try "El Diablo!"5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect date-night find -Perfect date-night find - we will definitely be going back!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Food and ServiceOverall, we had a great time at Tango. The food was very good. We loved the octopus and calamari dishes in particular. Bread would have been a nice addition to these dishes. My cocktail was excellent (mojito) and the wine list extensive. We will be back with friends.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Food! The tapas were tasty and the steak and seafood stew entrees were delicious. Nice booth seating in the bar and great window seat in the restaurant area. The server was very knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely be back!5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMRepeat VisitorWe were recently back in the Seattle area to visit friends and Tango is a place we keep coming back to. The tapas dishes are perfect for a large group of friends to share. Enjoyed great conversation and great food. Loads of gluten free options too. We'll be back again next time we're in Seattle. Service is always friendly.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was tasty and theThe food was tasty and the service was friendly making for a great mothers day dinner. This was my second time here and I can't wait top back for a third visit. We showed up for our reservation about 30 minutes early and were promptly seated, a nice bonus since the paella can take a little while to cook. The paella was definitely worth the wait, very tasty.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat!Great food, great service. HUGE separate gluten free menu and also very good with food allergies.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect for a Paella party!!!Had a large group of 10, everyone always had a drink in hand. Never had to wait too long for anything, service was great! We ordered 3 paella's to share which was perfect for a group our size, along with a few tapas. The meat paella was impressive and by far a big hit!!!! Seafood lovers will enjoy the seafood version. And for a nice mix of both, they have a combo option available too (just be prepared bc the dish can take an hour, but well worth the wait) Definitely a new favorite spot!!!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMPaella!Great paella! Wanted to try one of the seafood options but my fiancée doesn't do seafood so had to settle for the all meat one and it was delicious! Especially the beef and the sausage. SO yummy!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWe really enjoyed the veggieWe really enjoyed the veggie paella and cocktails, and Alex was awesome!!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWe discovered a gemThis was our first visit to Tango. Would definetely keep coming back. The happy hour was awesome..4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and service. CloseGreat food and service. Close to theatres and downtown hot spots.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMI have traveled extensivelyI have traveled extensively in Northern Spain. I am well acquainted with the food scene there. The food at Tango paid great tribute to the foods I eat in Spain, but it is not slavishly tied to reproducing that cuisine. The wine list included two wines from the Basque region that are difficult to find in the states (txacholi grape from getaria). I just wish they included a mencia grape based wine from Galicia to round out the list. The service was excellent. We had a memorable evening there.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe've been coming to TangoWe've been coming to Tango for years...never disappointed. We brought along friends who had never been to Tango and they were very pleased. Tried two new menu items and they were up to the usual standard. Service was friendly and efficient. What more can I say?4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a group of 10 and didWe had a group of 10 and did the group menu and it was perfect - plenty of food - everyone loved it, easiest solution especially as it was on an expense account so that way we knew going in the cost and could budget. Furthermore - they were very helpful doing a separate check for the alcohol we could not put on the tab. Big success with out of town visitors.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMTango was very accommodatingTango was very accommodating to my group who ended up being smaller than I booked for b/c I had a couple people cancel last minute.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was excellent, serviceThe food was excellent, service was excellent and the attention to detail wonderful to experience.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMEXCELLENT!!!FANTASTIC! Everything we had, and we had it all, was EXCELLENT. The best mojito on the planet! Highly recommended!4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFive stars for TangoWe had driven past Tango for years and finally decided to give it a try. What a great find. The food was excellent, the portions generous, the price very reasonable, and the service was outstanding. We are recommending it to our friends and will return.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMI loved it. Easy to get toI loved it. Easy to get to right off the 5. Parking was within 100ft of the door. The food was really good and so was the service. The only problem was that the menu had too many choices that all looked interesting. This restaurant deserves many return visits.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMWe loved everything we orderedWe loved everything we ordered from the drinks to the food. Wonderful4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious flavor and great choicesloved the choice of tapas and wine. Our young daughters were reluctant and protesting on arrival but were delighted once they tasted their food. Great dining experience for families and couples.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place for tapas. WeGreat place for tapas. We particularly enjoyed the spicy Gambas Picantes, Cazuela a la Garbanzos, and the Ensalada Valencia. Warning: El Diablo is so rich that it serves at least 4.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMWe ate at Tango during a Dine-ArounWe ate at Tango during a Dine-Around-Seattle promotion which was wholly satisfying. We will definitely return to sample more of the delicious-looking menu. The food was excellent and the service was well above average. The wine list was pricey but our party of four adults opted for the carafe of sangria which was spot on. I also understand there is one night a week when bottles of wine are available half off3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious! My husband and I came here for the Dine Around Seattle. I had the arugula salad, lamb chops, and El Diablo for dessert. All were incredible. The El Diablo was to die for! Can't wait to go back.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of my favorite dinnerOne of my favorite dinner restaurants in Seattle. The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. Try the sweet-savoury bacon-wrapped dates, and their signature dessert El Diablo, a chilli-chocolate mousse with tequila caramel sauce. I've tried the meat paella on another occasion here and it was excellent.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat tapas place. The serranoGreat tapas place. The serrano wrapped scallops were perfect, cooked just right with just enough spice. The El diablo desert was good, but very rich. Only complaint was the grilled octopus was a bit overcooked. Service was great, helpful and friendly.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMWe found the staff to be veryWe found the staff to be very friendly. It was really nice to see.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious & Delightful. Always.I adore Tango Restaurant. It is by far my favorite place to dine in Seattle. From the Queso Fundido, to the fantastic desserts, the meal is certain to place a smile on everyone's face. The staff is thoughtful and engaging, and the setting perfect for enjoying a truly fantastic meal and conversation - you can actually hear people speak!
The portions are generous and the options have breadth; the offerings will please both vegetarian and carnivorous attendees. Even trying tapas I otherwise may not, I have never been disappointed. Each dish provides something special - I would recommend all with confidence.
To close, El Diablo. Always. Maybe two. Always.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstandingFood was top notch, service excellent and friendly. I would recommend Tango to anyone! And you can't beat the $4 valet service across the street, especially if you are seeing a show. Can't wait to go back!!!3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat authentic Spanish food. Our meal at Tango was a real treat. I have eaten in Spain before and this was very authentic. I brought some friends that had never had paella or tapas and they thoroughly enjoyed the meal. A great find on our trip to Seattle. Would definitely go back anytime I'm in Seattle.1/1/0001 4:00:00 PM
