When you need a comfortable spot with something for everyone, Tango is the answer. In the Bryn Mawr Train Station, it's fun to sit out back and see the trains go by. And in the front room, there's a fireplace that adds to the charm. The lobster ravioli is delicious and the wide variety of clearly marked, gluten free options makes dining enjoyable for anyone with food issues.

Tango was very accommodating to our somewhat late arrival. Following a delicious meal I mentioned that Tango had told me I had a $30 credit from my previous visits since I had joined their "club". My server checked for the credit for several minutes and obtained information to help find it. We said it was OK, but she talked to the manager and he managed to find it under a previous phone number. It's difficult to get that kind of service in addition to an interesting menu and a delicious meal.

Veal Milanese was artfully presented but nearly tasteless due to the bland sauce. The best part of my meal was the pint of Yuengling Lager. My wife's short ribs had no rib bones and resembled brisket but tasted good. The guacamole & chips had good chips but nearly tasteless guacamole - no characteristic lumps, no spices, looked like a thick cold pea soup. Service was very good. We were greeted by the wait staff the moment we were seated, food came promptly, and the bill was handled promptly. Good News (for the owners): The place was packed solid with diners. Bad News (for diners): High noise level made conversations difficult; bland tasting food.

Felt rushed from the moment we sat down. Waitress asked to take our dinner order with our drink order with in a very few minutes of sitting down. There was no pause between courses, entree brought out while still eating appetizer. Check brought with coffee & dessert. Short ribs and Jambalaya just OK, nothing special for the price. Too many other good/great restaurants around. Won't be back.

Tango provided us with a lovely dining experience on a Tuesday night. Both couples were pleased with their dining selections,as well as, being able to converse. Mushroom soup was a hit as were the tuna selections. The tuna appetizer was large enough for a main course. The main dining room has a gas fireplace adding to the rustic charm of the room. We will certainly return.

it is looking a little rugged around the edges, especially out in the old station area--nicked furniture, peeling and cracked sun blocking on the windows. The food is very good. Our waiter, Ricky, was first rate. The prices are fairly moderate. It is the only place I eat when I am in the area--but then there is not a great deal of competition in terms of similar restaurants in the area.

The food was just ok. I couldn't eat all of my meal so I asked them to wrap it to go and the waitress put the dirty plates on top of my food. When I brought it to her attention she removed the plate then preceeded to wrap up the food and give it to me. Really?? I was eating my dessert and a gnat landed on top. Just wasn't a good night!

We felt the food was aromatic and plated well. However, the taste was mediocre. It was just enough seasonong so it wasn't bland but pleasant. We had the rock shrimp and calamari for apps, flank steak salad and seafood over rice( that looked a little congealed) and bread pudding and upside down pinapple cake (heavy and dense and bland). However, as this as restaurant week, I was glad we didnt pay full price. The experince allowed us try a different cuisine, but we wont be back. And later at home, our bodies were in agreement of our assessment, as we had to use the restroom.

I have eaten at Tango only a few times, and each time has been a pleasant experience. We dined with another couple this past Saturday night and had an excellent dinner at a nice table in a quiet area. Three of the four of us had the trout which was excellent. I think the food is a cut above other local eateries in the area and worth the few extra dollars.

Birthday Dinner, fun concept for environment, Noisy, Service lacking. Long wait dispite reservation. Then long wait @ table w/Server visible setting up group table. Bar drinks served after salad w/main course. Support service brought served us another table's order, did not check on us during the meal. Most of the ood adequately prepared. Entrees blacked swordfish & scallops w/ risotto/asparagus. Salads generous servings, lettuce for the harvest salad had a few bits past prime. Swordfish well prepared, served w/ snow peas. Scallops well prepared but swimming in mediocre tomato sauce served w/undercooked risotto w/very few asparagus bits. Dessert cheesecake & key lime pie, served out of the box. Suburban fare, not inspired to return.

This old baggage holding building that used to be a part of BrynMawr station is a great, quaint neighborhood spot. We just moved to the area and were looking for something solid. After reading reviews, we settled on Tango and were pleasantly surprised. Ahi and calamari apps were cooked perfectly and well presented, though I preferred a bit of salt added. Jumbalaya was above average and a huge portion, short rib special was another huge portion that required a doggie bag. Wanted to sit by a trackside window to watch the trains. All but one of the windows is small -(a function of the converted railcar - Will definitely be back

Tango's menu has a broad range...everything from tacos to jambalaya to steaks, lamb chops and crabcakes. Calamari appetizer , Jambalaya and lamb were all very good...wine service was a little odd. It took 3 tries to get what we asked for. Fortunately we are easy-going and our waitress was very sweet so it was an enjoyable evenning.

Our table by the Main Line tracks took me right back 40 years to trips on the Broadway Limited, and dinner in their upscale dining cars. Excellent service combines with an interesting menu at reasonable prices. I had the duck and my lady had the jambalaya, both very well prepared. I can't speak to the wine list because I enjoyed a selection from the craft brews on tap. The only demerit was the cappuccino, which presents well in its funnel-shaped glass, but is really awkward to drink. Otherwise an outstanding evening out.
